Mercure Duesseldorf Neuss

The friendly staff and chocolates and water in the morning.

It been very worn out, the gym was closed.

Location and car park.

Good location. The bathroom and the furniture in the room were in good condition and modern. The room was a good value.

The room was a little dusty with some cobwebs on the ceiling.

The hotel staff were great at check in and with arranging a taxi at departure. The area was quiet but still accessible to get around. The room was also very large.

It was convenient for my work.Room size was good, everything was there inside.

A really old tired hotel. The windows were all blown and full of condensation, and indication of the age. There were marks on the carpet which was not particularly nice, but the room did seem quite clean.I was also very annoyed that the bar and restaurant were closed on my first night, after a long day travelling and working I planned to eat in the hotel.I was able to get a drink at reception and then I walked to a supermarket few hundred metres away.

This is a great hotel with a fantastic location for Dusseldorf and the wider area. We were greeted by two attentive male colleagues on the reception desk on Friday. Very helpful and they spent their time to introduce us the their membership scheme which rewarded loyalty from our stays. The bar was closed that evening, they were still on hand from our day out to provide us with some german beer freshments. Still with a welcoming smile and personable manner. The breakfast is always a delight and myself and my friend stayed for 2 breakfasts over the weekend. No complaints there and always clean, tidy and delicious! Thanks again for all your help! Very professional and its always a pleasure to stay at your hotel. This has been a highly dependable hotel for our group of friends for nearly ten years now. We thoroughly enjoy coming back because of its great location and ease of access to the local motorway.

I was impressed of the room size for this price! I had king-size bed, sofa, big table and enough walking space.

no minibar in the room

The hotel is conveniently located, making it easy to access Düsseldorf and Neuss. The staff were friendly and accommodating. My room was comfortable and provided everything I needed for a relaxing trip.

I did notice that some areas of the hotel could use a bit of an update, and the cleanliness could be improved in a few spots. These were minor issues and didn’t significantly impact my experience.

Garden view is good. Continental breakfast is excellent. I like good coffee. Matrasses were more than good. Underground parking for a little fee.

A bit away from the main roads, and therefore it was difficult to find in the dark with navigation.

The location was good, the food breakfast and dinner was also good. The cleanliness of rooms was great as were most communal areas.

The beds are very uncomfortable. I still do not understand why they supply a super small duvet to cover you. Impossible task. Get with the times and get modern duvets and comfy beds. Also stop your cleaning staff turning the heating off. Its on because I was cold and had to cover half my body only with a tiny duvet!

Bigger room

No internet in the room. WIFI signal too weak and only one meter from the door.Noise during night. Doors poorly installed causing constant slamming.

I booked a room for my wedding stay. And they gave me a free update with plenty of space and little sweet treats !!

Facilities, price, location and staff

A woman knocking at the door at 8:30 when there was a do not disturb sign.

Price was low

Rooms were far more dated than the pictures suggest, no aircon and definitely not a 4 star hotel

Good location, good price.

Pillows were very worn out, no airconditioning.

Clean spacious room, good breakfast

No air conditioning in the rooms, so we had to open the windows and unfortunately there was a lot of traffic noise from the highway.Room cleaning staff entered our room at 8h30, when we were still getting dressed.

The staff was extremly frendly, and amazing breakfast

The building is extremly old, and there is a bad smell in the building
