Cons -
- Everything. The ofour. The old dilapidated building of hostel. Everything is a mess!!!!!
- Construction outside, which isn't anyone's fault!
- There is construction across the street. Mahmoud told me it was construction from the government. There is not much the hotel can do about this but just bring good earplugs.

Perfect location, clean room, good value for money. The breakfast can be taken to the rooftop with amazing pyramid view. Simple room with beautiful view of the Great Pyramids.
Nothing. I didn’t stay. I was outside the hotel for 2hours. No one answered the phone number provided. Rang the bell severally. After waiting for 2hrs with the taxi guy, someone finally answered the bell. He was asleep. The building smelled terrible. Dilapidated. I paid for a room with the view. I was offered a hostel room with 3beds. Nothing about it is good. The pictures on Booking is fake!!!!! Guardian Guest house looked nothing close to the pictures. It’s a shame that Booking will allow such scam to happen on their site. I demand a refund. I was scammed with fake pictures.

The location is perfect, the staff friendly and facility was clean. Great value.
Construction outside, which isn't anyone's fault!
It has an excellent view of the Giza pyramids. The staff were so very helpful and helped me arrange a driver to Saqqara , Muslim area and the Citadel. I had a short time to see the sites in Cairo and this helped tremendously with logistics.
There is construction across the street. Mahmoud told me it was construction from the government. There is not much the hotel can do about this but just bring good earplugs.
Excellent pyramid view from room. New renovated rooms.
Little bit small wash rooms.
Everything was great! The staff were friendly and helpful. The accommodations were as expected. I really enjoyed the views from the balcony and terrace.
All went good.
The location was perfect and the view was magnificent. The bathroom was also great too.
Lack of wifi
The view was amazing, especially from the terrace, and the hotel was very convenient overall. The place offers excellent value for money if you’re willing to sacrifice a bit of luxury and comfort in exchange for an unbeatable view of the pyramids. The hospitality was outstanding: Mohamed and his family took great care of us from start to finish, with a level of kindness and attentiveness that truly makes the difference.
There’s no restaurant on-site, so you’ll need to eat out or order food.
Location is very good-2 minutes walk to Giza pyramids. The rooftop right in front of pyramids and Sphinx!
The staff were immensely cordial, kind and helpful. The location is the best. The rooms are exactly right in front of the sphinx. The view and the location are unbeatable. The entrance to the pyramids is across the stress. It was truly amazing.
I liked everything. I would just share the info that there is no elevator so be prepared to climb stairs.
Location was perfect- with view of the pyramids from the room window as well as watching sunsets behind the pyramids from the rooftop patio
WiFi-- was spotty, but don't think that had anything to do with the hotel, heard there had been a fire in a Giza server building and internet was down all over.
The view from guardian is amazing. Make sure you reserve a room with a pyramid view. It will not disappoint! Breakfast is good and the hotel is clean. Laundry can also be done for a reasonable price.
The price is high for the area, but really you are paying for the view so it’s worth it.
Great location. Close to the pyramids with a fantastic view of the sphinx and pyramids from our bedroom window and even better from the rooftop patio. Breakfast was nice and enjoyed it up on the patio each morning. Felt safe to walk around the neighborhood for the shops and eateries.
Rooms are very basic and need updating. Coffee would have been nice with the morning breakfast
The staff was amazing! Property is beautiful close to the Sphinx entrance. Delicious Breakfast and amazing people.
Nothing, everything was great
This is an old hotel, but it’s very clean and they are renovating it, some rooms are already renovated. It’s really nice, It has a great view of the pyramids from the rooms and the from the rooftop. The breakfast is also very good too bad I did not have a chance to try it this time, the staff is super NICE. I had stayed at this hotel twice and I will be staying here next time I come to Cairo
There’s no better location in Giza. I better views
The WiFi doesn’t work but that wasn’t an issue for me. I always use a SIM card.
Very nice location, 1 minute walk from pyramids park entrance, amazing terrace with amazing view
Old facilities, simple but decent breakfast
Guardian guest house provided an amazing stay for us with helpful and fantastic staff helping us with everything from airport transfer to an amazing guided tour. We really enjoyed our stay!
