The resort is really beautiful, it is for visit whit friends or family, food very good and differents pools.

No alot Glasses and Towels in the room and the beds were size full not queen, and this is a 5 star hotel.

Exceptional service, facilities, and location. Outstanding value. All the staff were pleasant and went out of their way to anticipate and meet guest needs. The (free) breakfast was super. The facilities were well maintained and pleasing.

There was nothing not to like. It was a truly outstanding hotel/resort experience.

Rooms are very badly equipped, no dry rack for the swimming suits , no hangers in a bathroom , the shower is not updated, so you can’t fully enjoy the shower, they have to be renovated. air conditioner very cold ( and only handyman can switch it off ?) humidity in the room is very high , all our clothes got stinky smell. Even the bed linen was damp. The chairs in the restaurants was very dirty , sun lounger’s in a swimming pool was very dirty as well .

Beautiful location! Pool and hallways need bit of restoration- chipped paint, walls need repainting, etc. But location and overall the facility is totally beautiful!

A little bit outdated, the mattress needs changing.

The room was large and clean, the AC was quiet and the bed was really comfortable. The hotel amenities like the bar, the pool and the restaurants were all very good, especially Tai Kai the Japanese place next to the hotel.

The furniture in the room was a bit old and did not give the feeling of a high end hotel. The TV broke down and somebody had to come and replace it.

Disappointed

After we returned home from our stay, my wife and I developed multiple itchy bites. Because it rained most of the trip and we weren’t outdoors, our doctor said the pattern was most consistent with bed-bug bites. We reported this to the hotel right away, but it’s been over a month with no response or explanation. Posting this to share our experience—please check your room carefully. I hope management investigates and addresses it promptly.

It was in a well hidden beautiful location. It was clean, big, quiet and very comfortable . It transported me to a different epoch. Checking was quick and efficient and even though we got there early, we were able to do a pre-check-in, leave our bags and enjoy the premises in the meantime.

I was missing an overall restaurant that served buffet style food. The two that I tried was el Faro which was closed to the pools and beach and El Criollo which was for breakfast and dinner. Most of the restaurants required reservations and although some prices in the menu were high, the food was superb!

Great location, beautiful architecture, picture perfect pools & views, atmosphere. Service improved a lot since our last visit.

Rooms and facilities need urgent maintenance and renovation !!! (Especially the bathroom of the Light house is absolutely not acceptable.)Quality of food is sub-standart in all of the three restaurants.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful set up. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. The facilities are lovely with multiple pools and beautiful and not crowded beach.

The staff has excellent attitude, the breakfast is very good, is very comfortable and the drinks at the pool were perfect.

You can’t lower the air conditioner of the room. I like to sleep at 16C and it was at 23C. But there is a fan.

Once your on the resort you really need to pay attention to the hotel direction signs

Our suite was very nice and comfortable. The view was great! Buenaventura is such a wonderful place, we were amazed by the nature, the people, the food, all the activities there are to do… everything! We will definitely come back!

Only the shower was not great.
