Hotel Slamič Ljubljana

Large, spacious room with tub/shower. Coordinated a seamless flowers/chocolate gift with my daughter for a Mother's Day surprise gift for me. Very clean. Comfy beds. Walkable to major attractions and to the bus/train station. Would stay here again!

Loved the friendly staff, central location and cleanliness.

The coffee machine in the breakfast room often gave incorrect coffee. For instance a choice of cappuccino gave a short cup of espresso. Not a big deal in the scheme of things

Interactions with the staff were positive and pleasant. The meals had ample selection and were delicious.

Our first room in the older wing was comfortable,but when compared with our second room, somewhat cramped.

Beautiful building, great location, wonderful rooms… and a true family owned hotel with an amazing staff! Breakfast was beautiful, and the option for private parking is fantastic! Pet friendly, too.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the property was well taken care of. The location was away from the noise and busy areas but just a street over which was very convenient.

No elevator. Staff were more than helpful with our luggage, but just something to note for accessibility.

Beautiful, clean property with very attentive staff. Location was great - so close to old town but not in the thick of it. Breakfast was fabulous!

Would have liked to have coffee/tea facilities in room. However we asked for hot water and staff provided us with tea kettle and teacups to keep in room.

Breakfast was first class. Staff was awesome

Bath mirror light did not work. Was told that they were new and installers have to come back and fix. And they were sorry but no other provisions or alternatives were offered like switching rooms (we did not ask). It was very dim lighting over the sink.

Absolutely everything! Our room was spacious and well appointed. Very comfortable and clean. Loved the coffee shop!!

Adequate in every way.

Can drive right to the hotel and park inside their courtyard, yet are only one block from the downtown pedestrian city center, which is fantastic. The rooms were very nice, spacious, with comfortable beds and furnished nicely. Bathrooms were great. Super clean and well maintained. Both the restaurant and coffee shop were delightful and the food for both breakfast and dinner was magnificent. Great selection for breakfast. Nice outside area to sit and enjoy, both covered and uncovered areas. But best of all was the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful, and spoke Slovak, English, and German fluently, and some were also fluent in Italian and French. Delightful and friendly. Outstanding in every way.

Charming, clean, convenient, especially friendly and helpful staff, including owner, who is everywhere. Breakfast was very good. If you are a musician, it might be engaging to learn that the management team is a violinist and a bass guitarist. This is a small hotel that offers outstanding performances in hospitality and should play a five starring role in your forthcoming holiday. Two thumbs up. Highly recommended.

The location was excellent, just a short walk to the center. The room was spacious with comfortable beds, and breakfast had a good variety.

We loved our stay here! The location was great, easy to get to and from and onto the main highways for day trips, but also only a 10 minute walk into the main square to access the old town and river. We used the on site parking which is small but completely secure and safe. The hotel is beautiful with a nice outdoor area and the room was very lovely and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent - they will cook you a hot dish to order so it's very fresh and there's also a good selection of buffet items. The staff provided us with some great recommendations.

Great place. Very nice terrace for breakfast/lunch or just for relaxing. Location is 5-7 min walk from old city. They have restaurant as part of the hotel. Lunch was good. Parking in the property. Very nice and helpful stuff.

Noise does carry from the outside patio if your room is right next to it. I found the AC drowned it out.

The location was an easy walk to the old town, and we were able to park at the hotel (for a fee). The staff were very friendly, and we enjoyed breakfast. Was very nice to have air conditioning during a few very hot days.
