- The staff was really nice
- I recently stayed at Casa Grande Hotel in Guarujá and had such a fantastic experience! From the moment I arrived, I was truly impressed by the grandeur and elegance of the hotel—the size alone is remarkable, and the décor is just stunning. Every corner feels thoughtfully designed, blending classic charm with modern luxury. One of the highlights of my stay was the sushi restaurant on-site. The quality of the food was top-notch—fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. It was the perfect spot to unwind and treat myself.I also want to give a special shoutout to the car staff. Every time I called from my room to request my car, they were incredibly friendly and efficient. Their helpful attitude and prompt service made my stay even more enjoyable. Also shout out to the bar man Richard’s for being able to do a proper Long Island Iced tea from scratch, in his first attempt.
- We already stayed at the hotel some years back, and returned based on the great experience. We've seen some improvements in the children areas, with some new outdoor games and a pool. All the rest of the site and services maintain the same high standard.
Cons -
- The dinner buffet food was not that great. The salad was good, but the main dishes weren't that great.
- I recently stayed at Casa Grande Hotel in Guarujá, and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected from a supposedly 5-star hotel. To begin with, the housekeeping staff completely ignored the "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door—not once, but twice—while I was sleeping. They walked in without knocking, which was incredibly disrespectful and disruptive. I found this lack of consideration for guest privacy unacceptable. In terms of dining, the Thai restaurant was just okay—nothing special or memorable. The café was even worse: painfully slow service and disappointing food quality. For a hotel of this reputation, that was a real letdown. What really stood out in a negative way was how unprepared the hotel seemed to be, especially on our last day. During breakfast, there wasn’t nearly enough food for the number of guests. It felt chaotic and poorly managed, with staff struggling to keep up.This used to be a charming and elegant hotel—I've stayed here in the past and had better experiences. Sadly, it seems like the service has taken a major step backward. The staff overall seemed poorly trained and unready to offer the level of hospitality expected from a 5-star establishment.Casa Grande still has the look of a great hotel, but right now, it doesn’t deserve the rating. I hope management takes these issues seriously and makes some much-needed changes.
- The coffee that was served at the breakfast was clear that wasn't filtered coffee, that is a mistake in Brazil, famous for its great coffee.Another area of improvement is the pads and coushions at the main pool are becoming weared out.

Breakfast is very good and the hours of operation was excellent dining at the restaurants was excellent. The menu was extensive and reasonably priced.
Complementary coffee in the rooms
The staff were fantastic and the breakfast was a highlight.
We were cold whenever inside the hotel - they have a central air con system that can't be altered, not even in your room. Whilst not expensive we were not told until checking out that there is a charge for parking.
Great location. Amazing entry room. Great breakfasts. Amazing customer service.
Hot tub, not hot. Bed was hard. Walls were extremely thin. Facilities were outdated, in need of modernization.
nice ambiencelots of securitygood foodgreat location by the beach
room was small and rather old
The gym staff were excellent and the “pao de queijo” at breakfast was good.
Decrepit facilities badly in need of renovation. Staff pleasant but slow service and resting on their laurels. Mould in the bathroom covered badly with paint, broken lights in the garden, dirty beach area (empty soft drink and beer cans, paper cups and plastic bottles, used tissues on the sand) which the staff just looked on at and did nothing about. Food overpriced. No complementary water in rooms.
Breakfast (choices, service, taste), very friendly and attentive staff, setting and size of premises
Dinners (not tasty/appealing) in main restaurant and thai outlet, limited english language skill of staff made if difficult to communicate, the fact that it does not lie directly on the beach but is separated by a public road that needs to be crossed
The property is beautiful with friendly staff. Our meals were at the restaurant with gorgeous views and they were extremely accommodating to large families.
We have been there multiple times and the food was not amazing this time. It was OK. The air conditioning did not work and all the rooms.
great location, ambiance, food and staff.very resort style close to SP
the swimming pool is very nice.People are well trained and very pleasant
the gym equipment is outdated…
beachfront, very close to São Paulo. friendly and attentive staff!
food was a bit overpriced in the 4 different restaurants in the hotel but very delicious!
fantastic breakfast, the staff, and cleanness,
The facilities are a bit old. The hotel has great potential if it passes thru a refurbish
best thing was the staff . everybody super nice & polite
honestly, I haven’t been to casa grande in years and I was kind of disappointed…lots of old staff , like rugs warned out , bathrooms with rusted faucets, etc.don’t get me wrong , place still beautiful, but reviews are to make things better…
The service was excellent as was the location on the beach.
The music they played on the beach ALL day was horrible and it actually was annoying…sometimes the noises the beach makes is much better.
Everything was wonderful at Casa Grande. The staff was friendly and kind at all levels. Instruction clear to manage heath during pandemic. Beach installations were excellent.
Restaurants were expensive... but they worth the food and service.
The location in front of Enseada beach, the comfort of the rooms, the friendliness of the staff and specially the delicious breakfast.
