Four Points Flex by Sheraton Goettingen

We really enjoyed our stay in Göttingen--and in the hotel.¿¿ Tge staff (reception, at the bar, and at breakfast) were all very nice and helpful.

It would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room. Other than that, everything was great!

Very close to the train station so within a couple of minutes we were able to get on our train heading to EMO. Ample buffet breakfast. Room is clean and quiet.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

Polite and helpful staff. Very convenient location next to the train station. The breakfast was good, there is also hot chocolate available upon request. The room was clean and the bed - comfortable.

The carpet in the room looked very old, with a lot of stains.

No major complaints

Overall I liked the hotel but I was somewhat disappointed especially by the breakfast. Compared to similar city hotels of this price category (I paid over 90€ for 1 night, standard room with street view) it was clearly below average, it very much reminded me of breakfast at Ibis Budget hotels where I used to stay years ago. The room was OK but again it was slightly disappointing - no minibar, no kettle, not even a glass. However the mattress was comfortable (except for the waterproof lining under the bedsheets...) and I slept quite well with my window tilted. Sockets available next to the beds. The bathroom had good lighting. Location is great if you travel by train and there are several restaurants practically next to the hotel - I went to the Italian place and the food was quite good. The reception is open 24hrs and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was somewhat disappointing. No bacon! Very limited choice of cheeses and deli meat. Fruits just as whole pieces in a large bowl, unclear if they'd been washed. Messmer tea teabags....sigh. No coffee machine. For this price category it was too frugal but at least the scrambled eggs were pretty good (not dried like often in hotels)!

Very clean room. Astonishingly quiet.

Everything was fine but the shower dripped and by the time I arrived the bath mat that was inside the shower was completely soaked. But I will report to front desk .Also, a very loud group were outside in the back courtyard at 2 am and were singing and yelling. The good news, I could close window and it was completely quiet, but when it’s warm night, it would be nice to keep window open.

Very noisy guests late at night in other rooms.Workmen early in the morning.Broken fixtures: shower head and toilet paper holder.

The room was very clean. The bathroom especially was really nice. Location was close to some restaurants and the city center was only 10 minutes away.

The beds were not what expected. We booked a double room (two person bed) but this was simply two one person beds pushed together.

Breakfast was good lots of healthy options to appreciate

Impossible to get a taxi also I got a noise complaint from the person next door which was annoying as the first time I was awaken by reception in the early hours and the person next door called my room at 8pm later that day asked me to turn my T.V of by 9pm. I did contact reception as I was a bit uncomfortable but the managers response was “it’s not illegal for them to call my room” :/ . I sleep with background noise especially in new areas and I’m always conscious of the noise, T.V sound was set to level 7 when the complaints were made so thin walls ….

Breakfast was good. The hotel says it is a 4 star hotel but it is a 2 star hotel at best. The carpets were stained and the beds were okay.

Great value for the price! The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was big and with a spacious shower. The location is good since it's only a few minutes away from the train station.

The walls are too thin so that we could hear the next door neighbour talking on the phone and people going up and down above us and in the corridor. The Lokahalle (event building) is right behind the hotel and on our stay they had a loud event with music playing till 23 so we couldn't sleep. We asked the staff to move to a room away from the Lokahalle but we have been briefly dismissed by saying the hotel was fully booked and we were already in the least noisy part of the hotel.

It's a nice hotel with friendly staff (especially at breakfast), nice breakfast being served, well located.

The rooms are being cleaned upon request (that's ok), but even though I had asked, the room was cleaned in a very sloppy way.

We are traveling by train and it is very close to the station, so this is very convenient. The room was good as well as the breakfast. I would consider the hotel mostly as a business hotel, so every thing functions but this is probably not the place I would stay for a romantic stay, but for us traveling by train, this is the perfect location, and everything functions, so this is fine and we have already booked this place again for March.

Breakfast was better but has to improve with options.

Bathcorner was too congested for even entering or taking bath, not worth price.

Comfortable room, well equipped bathroom. The staff is super friendly. The reception and bar is 24 hrs. Our floor was very quiet but the hotel was also empty

Breakfast was a bit expensive. For €18 it would have to be a pretty luxurious breakfast.My husband said he could hear our nextdoor neighbor snoring through the walls.

Great breakfast and wifi worked well.

Shampoo bottle was empty when we arrived and the shower didn’t have hot water until we reported it and it was repaired. uncomfortable pillow and mattress with springs very noticeable while sleeping.

Pathetic, Disaster

Room was so bad and not at all cleaned, there was spiders all over the room and the room heater was also not there. Bedsheets and quilt was smelling bad.
