ibis Tilburg

I liked the location, the room was nice, clean and functional. The bathroom area could be bigger. But I think it's value for money. Check in and check out was smoothless. At the time of my stay, there was a construction going on. It didn't bother me that much.

The shower are could be bigger, no safe and refrigerator.

I loved absolutely everything. There is a self check in which is pretty cool and quick . The self check out is at 12 which is amazing as well. The room was nice and comfortable. They also cleaned off the ice from my car which was very sweet. I regret I didn’t attend breakfast as I’m sure it would have been just as good.

The only thing was that the AC didn’t seem to make the room warm so I was more or less freezing during the night .

In construction to dusty and too noisy. The room was smelling like something died in there and in on day we left without internet all night the next day the lights went out with zero explanation.

Location is good and cleaning is good

Check in and check out online process is confusing and time taken. Even after spending lots of time to install app keys in iphone those don’t work to open the gate. Charged 20euro for outside/open parking that found bit odd as most hotels provide free parking. Extra local tax charged that makes total payments more than showen on booking.com

Staff were great. Pizza in restaurant was good. Free coffee and snacks at reception.

Very quiet, all new, comfortable and clean. Nice breakfast. Parking at the hotel for 10 eur a day, EV charging poles available. Check in and out from phone possible, or from machine in the hotel hall, very practical.

Staff were friendly enough, albeit slightly redundant considering the self serving check in process.

I was awoken by construction/drilling and it went on for hours. I worked late and was looking forward to a relaxing rest, but I was disappointed. It was impossible to relax.

What made the experience at IBIS Tilburg was the staff. Vera and Annick were extremely accommodating and kind throughout our families stay. Karen and Thom were helpful when asking questions about the city, but more than anything, everyone truly made the experience at IBIS feel homey. The hotel itself was very well kept, clean, and we didn't experience any delays or inconsistencies during our stay. Parking was always very accessible. I will 100% be returning with my family.

The friendliness of the very competent staff. It is located very well within close reach of public transport. The free use of a bicycle.The cleanliness of the room and little extra’s done the next day. The assistance with the room key card went very smoothly. The available extras like fruit, candies and cookies, tea, coffee, and water. It was a shame that one of the guests smoked in the room and the alarm went off in the middle of the night. All other guests were evacuated to be informed outside by the manager it was a false alarm.

If you just want to have a bed, a shower, a breakfast and parking for your car, this hotel is just fine. But don't expect anything more. It's basic.

I'd prefer a friendly receptionist for checking in, not some kind of an big touchscreen to do it yourself.The hotel is in the midst of a reconstruction, which doesn't give you a warm and welcome feeling.

The bed was comfortable and the food was good.

On arrival I had to wait for a while to get into my room. The self check-in machines did not work, so a staff member had to help me instead. She had to go get a manager as she couldn't work it out. She was uttering something like that there was no room available even though I had booked and already paid for it.There is an app you can install to open your room door. This worked once and then stopped working.The shower in the bathroom has a glass panel that is supposed to stop the water from the shower going into the rest of the bathroom. The panel is too narrow, which means that the bathroom does get wet. Clearly a design mistake.The hotel.has a carpark, but it's not free. This information isn't easy to find. Furthermore, it was not clear that I had to go ask a staff member to scan my carparking ticket before I could leave the carpark. I had prepaid for parking.

Autocheckin was of course not working because I paid upfrontLocation is really bad if you want to go to the city centre and have no car - especially on weekends the buses that are 15 minute walk from the hotel start only after 9

Service

Cleaning and providing the refreshment in the room coffee/ tea, which was incomplete - e.g. one sachet of regular coffee for two people; use tower in the bathroom

very friendly staff, comfortable room. Breakfast was good, not an extensive choice but great fresh orange machine! very close to bus stop to get to train station.

Private parking, easy to reach from highway. Breakfast option. Also heating with airco possible.

Rooms felt a little dated.

Rooms were clean and cosy. The breakfast was good, not a huge choice but very nice, and the restaurant had some decent dishes for an evening meal. Bar snacks were good too.

Staff is always super friendly. They arranged the taxis upfront. Love the fruit and different water offered at reception. Missed at online checkin that there was no option to change that my friend only stayed one night, with one parking. However, reception assisted further at reception. Love the fact to rent a bicycle. The staff kindly assisted to lower the saddle. Unfortunately one of the bikes had a flat tyre and the other no lock. Housekeeping is doing their very best to keep the room clean. I found breakfast too expensive but I am used to pay different prices in Spain where I live.

The TV channel didn’t work as previous guest pressed on HDMI. The card holder in the room switched the light off. We managed to put in a teabag which made it work.

Loved it! Breakfast was amazing and the staff so friendly. Great and quiet location. We visited Efteling and this was ideal to reach when the park closed. Really happy stay thank you!!

Bed, place, bar, restaurant. Automatic check in worked well

The teekatle had acetic smell, there was not bin in the room, only in the bathroom. The room hight was low

It was clean and a good price.

It was farther away from spoorpark than I realized
