City Hotel Tilburg

Location in the city centre. Everything nearby. Comfortable.

Lunch was OK. Nothing special. Staff member at breakfast was a bit too amicable (greetings by pat on shoulder from behind while seated)

Location cannot be beaten, right on the start [or end depending on your orientation] of the huge shopping district. My room overlooked the Winter funfair / Christmas market and it was wonderful to see all the colourful lights at night. Breakfast was included but I didn't partake as both times I went to the breakfast room the tables were all full. However, the room is open all day so teas, coffees, juices, fruit etc. are available free to guests which is great. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was large, with a huge window seat overlooking the square below, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spotless with a great shower and fabulous lemony shampoo/shower gel included.

The hotel is modern and clean and has an excellent location. The staff is extremely helpful and kind and the breakfast varied and yummy.

Great location. One of our rooms had a very cute window with a bench where you could sit and look at the cute square. The staff was very nice and helpfull :)

Lovely breakfast there, hot & cold items & it was well topped up. Room was small but adequate for 2 nights. It was run by a lovely family.

The hotel was near a church & the bells rang every hour & every half hour, through the night too. So sleep wax disturbed.

Close to the train station and literally in the pedestrian zone, so immediately close to the shops, pubs, restaurants,...Less than one minute on foot from the concert venue "013 Poppodium"Great breakfast.Large room.Friendly staff.

The church located next to the hotel rings at every hour during the night and is very loud.Not the hotel's fault, obviously, but still quite annoying.If you are a light sleeper, depending on your room, it could wake you up...Other than that, nothing to complain about!

We were in Tilburg for a concert, the hotel was just around the corner from the venue, very central lots of nice cafes, bars and the shopping area was just down the road, staff were so friendly and nice.Lovely relaxed vibe, beds were comfortable and room was spotless.Good selection for breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay.

It was a good location. But I think everyone who stays needs to be aware the bells ring every 30 mins all through the night feom the church next door.

The room was dusty, the beds were a bit like lying on a sponge. And the worst thing was coming out of the room to find a homeless person asleep on the floor with a packet of pain relief next to him. I was staying with my young child. This made me feel unsafe. I am sorry but I would not recommend this hotel.I am sure it said there were tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a fridge- but there were neither.

Just because is so central, it can get loud during the night.

I stayed here with a friend for a concert. The price was grossly inflated, but that was to be expected for such an event. The location was absolutely perfect. Quick 10 minute walk from the train station to the hotel. The hotel was right in the middle of the city center with plenty of choices for food and drink. What was even better was that the event venue was directly behind the hotel ~less than 5 minute walk! Breakfast was also included with standard offerings and nice coffee.

The hotel is very convenient in the city center - but it is also directly next to a church with a very adamant bell ringer.. Would recommend using the airco instead of leaving the window open if you are a light sleeper. I was awoken every hour with the bells.

Honestly the hotel is worth more stars, but checkout possed me off, so here we go...Didn't know anything about breakfast as I had to check out early, but apparently it was included so upon checkin I was asked if I wanted something to take with me upon checkout and was asked what I'd like. This in mind I didn't buy anything for breakfast during the day as I was told something would be ready. Well you guess it nothing was, so here I am on my way to work without breakfast.Hotel was fine (just needed a bed for a few hours), just don't promise anything if you can't keep the promise!

Location was perfect! Right in the middle of the city! The room was big and bathroomAs well and clean. Breakfast was very generous and staff very kind! A great value for money!

The staff were super friendly! there is a laundry facility in the hotel, the staff washed and folded the laundry for the price that is cheaper than in the town.
