VILA Corviniana

The location was perfect if you are looking to visit Corbin Castle, the rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the restaurant is very affordable and good traditional food. Staff was mostly really friendly and helpful.

I was treated very well by everyone, which added to my pleasant, comfortable stay. There is a restaurant on site, which made things very convenient. The food was very good and served with kindness. I made a good choice to stay here; it was one of my favorite lodgings during my two-week stay in Romania.

I was there during a cold snap; there seemed to be nor way to turn up the heat.

The staff were amazing and the room was gorgeous and large. They even accommodated my request for a bathtub. The location can't be beat for visiting the castle and it's easy to find your way back even if you don't know the town. The building has loads of historic character and charm and the owner even shared some anecdotes about the area's famous visitors. Would absolutely stay again. Breakfast was excellent and included a range of local favorites. Wish I could have stayed longer!

Beautiful old building owned by a local couple. We were very near the castle. We drove and parked maybe two minutes away to walk to the castle. They were very accommodating and even came up to our room and showed us how to work the TV. I highly recommend this property room 13 was a corner room with an absolute Great breeze when you popped the windows open and beautiful.

Wonderful hotel and very careful, experienced staff. Rooms are incredible, way above you can expect throughout Europe. Just a few steps from the Hunedoara Castle and the center of the City.

Great location, near the castle and just a short walk to the city center. The interior is nice, the rooms are clean, spacious and well-equipped. Customer service was excellent, and the host was very friendly and attentive.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The rooms are spacious, clean and have everything you need. Breakfast is not included, but I recommend you get it because it's very filling and fits all tastes. The accommodation is also close to the castle, 10 min walk through the city center. Parking is free across the hotel.

The room was very nice and clean. The host lady was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was very delicious. The hotel was close to the Vajdahunyad castle. We had free parking place, so everything was perfect.

The room was beautifully decorated and the beds were very comfortable, but since the window insulation was a bit outdated, the noisy street was quite audible. The breakfast was arranged very nicely, and a table was set for us at the specified time.

We were delighted to see how much care they have for their guests. The big, clean, warm room was exactly what we needed to recharge our batteries. The location for us was good - quite close to the tourist spots while still avoiding the crowds and bustle of those places - about 10 minutes to the castle (walking with children and dog).I enjoyed a good coffee and the homemade cones gave an extra taste.Thank you for the welcoming host and we hope to see you again soon!

It is a cozy place very close to the Castle of Hunedoara.

The bedside lamp was dusty and when I tried to pull out the drawer of the bedside table the log with the knob remained in my hand.

Very close to Corvin Castle, the breakfast was also very good. The bed was very comfortable and clean.

The building is an historic house, gorgeous traditional house, decor was very elegant, cozy, breakfast was good, they let us do the check in before the time we were supposed to, the personal was very friendly, specially the lady at the reception, wifi was working very good, the room was very warm and cute, we even had an upgrade. I totally recommend the place. They also have parking right outside the house. Very close to the main road.

It’s close to the castle, the staff is friendly and helpful and the restaurant is really good (the food is both delicious and cheaper than elsewhere). Their desert called papanasi is a must try

The hotel itself isn’t in the building your see on the first images (the real adjacent building is showed on picture nr 37), parking is on the street (although the local police won’t bother you).
