    Pros +

    • Room: Cleaned every day, comfortable beds, basic but functional furniture.Beach: Beautiful sand and clear water, relaxing atmosphere.Food: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were amazing – great selection, very tasty, and beautifully presented.Staff: Lovely, kind, and attentive.
    • the facilities was excellent. The hotel was by the sea. Free upgrade on sea view due to availability. the third person in the same room (my son) had a proper twin bed and not a roller bed or sofa like almost all other hotels in the area. The stuff was very helpfull
    • The location is great. Next to the beautiful beach. Great pool area for children. Don’t do all inclusive, there are great taverns in the area and their a la carte restaurant ist also amazing.

    Cons -

    • Beach access: The beach isn’t owned by the hotel. You have to pay €7.50 per day for two lounge chairs and an umbrella.All-inclusive limitations: Only one main bar and one restaurant were included. Many amenities (like beds at the beach bar or cabanas) required extra payment.
    • The pool beds availability. Guest were waking up early in the morning and putting staff on the beds just to book them. One hotel towel on two beds. non hotel towels. Personally i had to book from beds from the public area (paid) just to have a beach beds for the familyThe situation was inconvenient for evrybody. The hotel should change the policy and during check in the client should be able to book a set of beds based on occupancy.
    • The breakfast buffet was the same every day and not a very good variety. Very tailored to what the english love: beans, soggy bacon, cheap „eggs“ and random sausages. The croissants are good.

Very warm staff and service.Very relaxed wibe

The bed near the beach costs € 50 extra which doesn't seem the norm for hotel guests in general as all beach hotels provide shacks and beach bed as part of the beach hotel package.

Amazing location on a fantastic beach! We got the upgrade of the room for free upon arrival. Excellent variety of food with thematic nights every evening. Kids' animation was fantastic.

Rooms are small. If you are a family of four, you can barely walk between the beds. Also, every evening, we had to wait for at least 15 minutes to get into a restaurant for dinner. There was always a huge line.

We upgrated our room to a suite with private jakusi and swimming pool. It was very nice.

After upgrading we asked for ice from the bar. They would not give us ice , only with an extra charge. We had half board !

The only thing I did like were the swimming pools and the beach close by. And the fact that I got a refund and didn’t have to stay any longer.

Where do I even begin. 1. There are NO coffee or tea making facilities in the room. How does a 4 star hotel justify that? 2. There was no conditioner available. Again, what 4 star hotel doesn’t have conditioner? Ah well, you have to go to the mini souvenir shop on the ground floor to buy some silly! 210€ per night but you still need to buy that. 3. There is no iron or ironing board in the room. You have to go to the ground floor yourself, give a 20€ deposit to rent an iron, go back upstairs, iron your shirts, go back down to return it and get your deposit back and then go back upstairs. Again, how does a 4 star hotel justify such a lack of service? 4. There is a horrible stench in the corridors - a combination of the smell of sweat, aftershave and feet. It was awful. When we spoke to the receptionist about this they said they are aware of this issue. Well as long as they are aware then that’s alright then? 5. The shower was dirty and grimy6. The croissants at breakfast stank of egg. So yeah don’t come here.

Location of Asterias beach hotel is perfect, just two minute to the beach. Beach is very nice, even it can be crowded, it is big and is perfect for swimming. Room was big and spacious. Cleaning ladies were very nice. We had breakfast, but after two days decided to upgrade to half board. Food was very good, good variety. Definitely recommended for relaxation vacation.

Beautiful hotel, friendly kind staff and perfect location. Exceptionally clean and breathtaking beach.

noisy guests, they have no respect for others. shouting down the hall early morning and late at night and slamming doors. The hotel needs to make it clear to guests to be more quiet. signs ect and reminders when they check in. Hotel perfect but most guests were unpleasant and rude. I know this isn't the hotels fault but just be aware that they don't make your stay inviting. Just certain groups (6am towels on beds!)also no tea or coffee facilities. This was really missed.Beds on beach (part of the hotel) £70 euro for the day!! Extortionate extra price

Great Location, food great choices and plenty of gluten free choices too. Great staff. Spyros on Reception in particular but wedding planners Maria & Manolita are AMAZING!

    Pillows were awful. So hard.

Great beach, ok food, nice view and swimming pools, nice variety shows at night, but mostly for the kids.

These are more of suggestions to the management, if they care to hear.Cleanliness could be vastly improved. There was a bad smell (something between dust and dirt) when we got in the room, and we didn't know where it came from. The hotel staff couldn't also locate it, although they tried cleaning our floor once again. On our third and last day we realized that the smell was coming from the ventilation above the entrance door - It was full of dust and it looked like it wasn't cleaned for years. It's not only about the smell, it is a health hazard.Very irresponsible and a big minus. The carpet in the hallway that led to the room was completely stained. It is strange that the management didn't think it should be replaced or at least deeply cleaned. Big minusIt is a large hotel and some guests were behaving rudely:- Just as we came into our room, a drunk woman in the room next to us was knocking on the terrace wall and asked for wine bottle opener which we didn't have anyway- Around midnight there was a group of 6 young drunk men that were sitting in the hotel bar and had some inappropriate comments towards a lady I was with and I had to address it myself before it escalated. The hotel is understaffed and no one is there to protect the guests from situations like this.- The staff at the dinner could be more professional and better mannered. It's not an issue if the management is employing the staff from third world countries (probably to pay them less) as long they are professional and good at their job which was not the case. Most of the time they were just taking the plates from our tables without asking, with a sense of urgency to just "get their job done" and go homeThis is usually a sign of underpayed staff.- Prices in the bar are overblown: 4 euros just for a small bottle of sparkling water...

Food, close the beach, view. There is not smoke in the event room. Hotel room with clothes storage capacity.

More better programmes. Extra charge for sunbeds on the beach.

    8OrtalPosted on: 8-26-2024

The activities are great, good breakfast, near the beach, good sport activities

The lifeguard ( women) very not nice and not polite….

    10GordanaPosted on: 8-13-2024

The rooms are spacious and well equipped, the pool area has plenty of deck chairs, the beach is fabulous.

Remote location. The food variety was lower and the taste was blend in comparison to last year.

The nicest staff and hotel i have ever seen. We got an upgrade and they were nice the whole time! Hotel got renovated, food was excellent everytime! Would recommend

    10VasilisPosted on: 7-30-2024

Excellent location, variety of facilities and polite helpful staff

The hotel need to renovate the common areas, like corridors, the reception, the lobby and decoration in general. Need to become modern style

    10AlexPosted on: 7-26-2024

The room was lovely, the breakfast was fabulous. The Food at the beach bar was excellent and the beach was beautiful.

    5RheaPosted on: 7-19-2024

    Below average

It looked a lot nicer in the photos than in real life. Our towels in our room were dirty had make up on them. The cabana at the beach should have had a small discount for hotel guests. It was very overcrowded with tourists and luggages inside the hotel, it felt like an airport.Except for reception, we did not encounter any staff.

    7OleksandrPosted on: 7-14-2024

Location- right on the beach , breakfast- all kind of food available, room is comfortable and clean . Common area is spacious and bright.

Staff and service below the 4 stars hotel level : 1.Asked about electrical car charge , nobody can assist , staff just mentioned it is outside. 2. Level bar - hotel beach bar - asked for the booking of the Level bar sun bed on the reception, nobody wanted to help- call, book , etc , they send me to the beach , walked there - nobody in charge, called them - nobody answered, so left and come again later. 3.. Asked for a dinner at 22.30- no restaurant was open or room service available. Suggested from the staff to go out for dinner((. 4. Room service- no tea or coffee available in the room - 4 stars hotel 5. Gym - very limited equipment- elastic bands are not expensive to have them available at the gym . 6. Asked for an invoice/ receipt at the check out - the staff had refused to give any paper - they insisted my booking is through the booking.com so talk to them. 7. In general the hotel need a renovation and an upgrade of the facilities, furniture and service.

    Good

The spa and sauna were charged extra and for the size of the buffet the choice of food wasn't much
