Stamatia Hotel

The location is just petfect - you are in the middle of everything; near the Harbor, the beach, the main strip and the museums. The cleaning staff work very hard and were very friendly. Towels changed every day, if needed and any other request was immediately tended to. Great cleaning team.

The 2 small elevators - only 2 for the entire hotel. First, the air ventilation system was non-functional - the moment you stepped-in it was HOT!!! No air to breathe! Second, during our stay one was broken twice - putting stress on the working one. Third, the pool closes at 6 pm SHARP! As soon as the clock strikes 6 pm, there are at least 8 staff members running-around cleaning-up and closing the sun umbrellas and moving the sun loungers...very very off-putting for the guests. The sun is still shinning, the guests are still swimmimg but you must get out of the pool and exit the pool area. Not good when on holiday. Last, the breakfast is not very good. If you don't arrive when it opens, then the food is luke warm, at best, and it is very clear that most is from the dinner the night before. I am not a fan of buffet meals so it's hard to really judge as a person who does. My husband on the other-hand loves buffet and he enjoyed it.

I didn’t like the size of the room, the folding bed was almost broken, the sauna wasn’t working, some of the gym equipment was out of order, and there wasn’t enough shampoo and shower gel.

We booked 2 rooms and we get them close to each other exactly how we asked. Te location is great, also the food was great, everything was very tasty.

Sound insulation of the terace and entrance door could be better because it's busy noise area.

Breakfast was very good and rich. Location is just perfect, close to siti beach and the main street.

Little outside pool

I had a pleasant stay at Stamatia Hotel. The reception staff were welcoming and very helpful. However, I found the restaurant and bar staff to be somewhat unhelpful and a bit rude. The meals were enjoyable, and the all-inclusive package was a nice option. The location of the hotel was convenient, and the room size was comfortable.

The alcohol offerings were average, and the room did not have a smart TV.

The food wasnt good. My stomach was hurting me since day 1 and i didnt eat again even though we pay for all inclusive.

Location is ok.

The food was disappointing, and the area around the coffee machines was quite dirty. A restaurant guy named Marian spoke to me rudely, telling me not to push his colleague while I was simply trying to arrange chairs for my family. They didn’t offer any assistance, yet asked us several times to relocate. Additionally, there was a constant, irritating noise from what seemed to be the nearby hotel’s air conditioning system.

Quality of matrases

Clean, comfortable modern suite.

Location and breakfast is good.

Booked a room for 3 adults and they gave us a room for a couple with the small third bed which was not comfortable at all. Upon check-in the receptionist rushed for everything and we did not get a chance to check anything and after that they said that we are fully booked and cannot do anything for us.

The staff was very nice. The location is good. 2 minutes from the sea.

The food was not so good. Very little option for vegetarians. .

The facilities were very nice. Also the room was very clean. All inclusive food and drinks were very tasty and in good quantity as well. The staff was friendly. An overall very nice hotel, very clean.A short story to share: During the check out, I was looking for my watch and couldn't find it. Then realised that also my hand cross juel was missing. I talked to the reception and they called the manager. The manager spent more than an hour to help trace and find it. He ran like it was his. We finally found both and had to say it was my fault. The manager was happy it was found and then he treated me to a drink to relax. Well done manager!!

The pool was not very clean. I don't know whose fault it is, but to be honest I did not see any visitors follow the rule "shower before entering the pool" nor staff cleaning it. The floor carpet in the hallway is outdated and needs to be replaced. The shower in my room was very narrow. I could barely fit in to take a shower.

The location is great, very close to the beach and to restaurants and bars. The room was spacious and very clean and comfortable.

The food was terrible, I paid for all inclusive and ended up not eating there more than twice because it was disgusting. They only offered a bottle of water upon arrival and after that you had to take a refill from the pool bar or restaurant, but the water tasted very weird, wasn’t very clean and I ended up vomiting.

Kind staff, location close to the sea

We booked hotel for one night for 130£. We expected good quality rooms as Stamtia is neighbour hotel of Nelia Beach Resort where we stayed before. Unfortunatelly in same price as Nelia we got room where was mould, building facing directly on Nelia hotel And couldn’t even came out on balcony as you can see straight away to the rooms od opossote hotels. There is also less air as 2 buildings are to Close to each other. All night we could hear nosie from aircon from outside. Room was full of stink from mouldy aircon. Corridor realy dirty plus very muggy. In our room we didn’t get even water. Lift really dirty, muggy, small. Even fact that someone is Booking for one night stay doesnt mean that hotel should provide the worst room they have and if they provide that room they shoudlt charge half less. Nelia hotel offer rooms in same price and much much much higher quality. I didn’t Enjoy stay . I like to pay price of the room which is coresponding the quality. For me Stamatia was big ovepay for the quality which we get. In our room was not even normal cup just paper one. I stayed in cheaper hotels in Aya napa which provide much mich higher quality. This is cheating on peoples as price is way to High to this what are you getting in return.

Decent hotel, good location, clean common areas and room, food was tasty but it would be better if they were serving snacks more time throughout the day and bigger variety.

Now you will be wondering why i gave such a low rating. The only problem we jad the first day was the small lift and the not so comfortable bed. Everything was good until the last 2 hours before leaving,  all the staff we meet until that time was really great (thank you lady at the reception with the black hair(sorry i forgot your name!) Paniko, Lefteri, Azis, Salih and the rest of the staff at the restaurant and bar,sorry I forgot your names). The last day of our stay there we decided to go for a small car ride and then come back at the hotel to have a shower and leave. Note that we had our 3 months old baby with us we we wanted to rest before our 1.5 hour car ride back home. When we came back to the hotel i opened the room door and i realised that it was clean and all our stuff was missing.  I found a lady at the room next too ours cleaning and she started apologising saying that she thought we left because she didn't see our clothes (we took most of our stuff to the car) and it was ONLY 3 BAGS so she assumed we left and forgot them. She offered us to use a clean room asking us not to tell the manager because she would lose her job. We were really disappointed because everything was ok until that time but we assured her that we will not tell anyone but next time make sure that people left before entering their room. We went to the common toilets since we didn't want to make her clean a room again. Then we checked our stuff and i realised that my phone charger was missing.  We went back to her and again she started apologising saying she thought it wasn't ours and she gave us the charger (which she kept at her trolley with the clean towels and not in the storage room where she kept our bags). That time i told her that i wouldn't tell anyone but now that i realised that she tried to stole my stuff i will and then she pulled down at the floor all the clean towels and she started showing me stuff she kept there. And guess what.
