the room is very cozy, clean, well kept, furniture very comfortable, very warm in winter, though there is a fan, indicating there is no air condition in that room in summer. Amazing staff!

price for value was very good, room very clean, breakfast was good, so for this level of hotel, I was very satisfied. Thank you!

Everything was excellent, and all at a very good price. Large comfortable and clean room, clean bathroom and excellent breakfast. Free parking in the basement was a bonus. Good location, just 10 minutes walk to the centre of the city

Nothing to dislike

Good location. Impeccably maintained, comfortably sized room. Friendly reception staff and great breakfast.

The breakfast is family-like, making me feel at home. The location is perfect, close to the center of the city, about 15minutes by walking. The room is clean and spacious, meeting all my needs.

Perfect except for a small...

It was difficult to get into the hotel. Reception is only staffed until 2pm; after that you get the keys from the key box - if you have the code. You try to call the hotel’s number but there is no answer. Ok, your call is returned somewhat later, but until than you are in limbo. Then you get the code, retrieve the keys but there is no remote control for the garage doors. You call again, but there is no answer etc.At the end everything is fine, but to save on stuff to this extent is a bit too much.

Kind, friendly, down to earth hotel in the center of Weimar, which is really worth visiting. We had very spacious rooms and fine breakfast. Good price quality balance

No grand luxury, but who needs that for a family. Everything we needed was there. No grand standing, just fine accommodation and service.

We had a very spacious suite with 2 double beds, large windows on 2 sides in the main rooms, plus a living room area. Nice high ceilings too. It was perfect for our family of 4. The breakfast was included and it had a nice assortment of offerings. There is garage parking (pay) but we found free street parking right out front. it was an easy 10 minute walk into the city center. I wish we had had a few more days to explore Weimar. We will be back.

The size of the room and the proximity to altstadt.

It is a very old building requiring full modernization. Nothing of fancy decoration and architecture. The furniture reminds me of the 60's. No notice in english. English is rather rare in tourist industry, not easy to find a menu list in english in the altstadt restaurants.I sent emails to the hotel in english advising that I do not know german and got reply in german. The reception closes at 14.00 and the central door was left broadly open, closed at night only. Parking around the hotel is a matter of luck. Room very clean. Breakfast below average.Recomended? I am not sure.

The WiFi did not accept all streams

The room was enormous, furnished in good taste, well accessorized. The persons staffing the reception were helpful, eager to assist despite the fact that I don't speak German and they don't quite speak English. But they always managed to understand me and helped gladly.The breakfast was very good.
