Wonderful service, spacious and quiet room, excellent breakfast

as stated above: location, comfort and breakfast have been good

the glass in the shower broke during our stay and the bathroom was full of broken glas, without we have been in the bathroom. Thus, the bathroom and especially the shower was unusable. The hotel tried first to make us liable, which we clearly not in any event have been. Than the offered us free parking. That was really disgusting: we had a room without a shower and a bathroom and had to pay the full invoice. And had a substantial risk of being violated.

Hotel informed us of how to get in as we arrived late, this worked well. The room was very nice & the bed was comfortable. Breakfast continental with good selection. Oat milk option available and they made a great cappuccino. Staff available in the restaurant if you have any questions . Located very close to town centre for restaurants. Private parking available is worth booking ahead if required.

Comfortable large room with good beds and a clean and good functioning bathroom. The room was located on a nice patio so you don’t hear any traffic. In the morning they served a very nice breakfast buffet. Also the staff was very kind and helpful.

The staff are friendly and helpful. I got late at the location but everything was managed and they supported me each time that I contacted them.My room was clean, big and also has lift. The location is very good.Morning breakfast was great.

In order to simplify the procedure of getting keys, access to the parking and the room, they can share a video.

All you need for a night. Quiet and clean. IKEA furniture and corresponding ambience. Better than average breakfast, very good jam, home made. Very fair price.

Very friendly staff and late arrival was arranged perfectly. Room was clean and everything necessary was available, looked like a new bathroom - very good. Really outstanding breakfast and good coffee with a good host. The village is nice, but we didn’t spend much time there.

It was mid summer and this made the room hot, airconditioning would complete this accommodation to a very solid 10/10.

The room we stayed in was modern, clean, and very comfortable. The breakfasts were superb. The hosts were very attentive to our needs. We also received a free pass for local transportation, and it’s just a short stroll to the train station. By the way, if you are allergic to down products (comforter, pillows), let the hotel know before your arrival!

WIFI was sometimes intermittent.TV had few international channels.Bathroom could have a small table for personal things.

Breakfaat was good, products of high quality, not the cheapest ones.I missed eggs in any form - no omelette or just fried or boiled, that was surprising, but the rest was very good, so we were satisfied :)

I loved the easy location to the train station. Three minute walk away . Easy train access into Basel. Knowledgeable and friendly host . Comfortable rooms, good breakfast and nice outdoor space .

As arriving late, we entered the building with a pin code. Everything functioned very well. The room was tidy, and breakfast good.

too many stairs, least comfortable bed ever, extremely thin walls

Where to start…First, if I’d known that I was going to have to lug my 45lb (20kg) suitcase up a set of outdoor metal stairs, I probably would have stayed elsewhere. Their description of having an elevator isn’t for all rooms, so if that’s something you need make sure to let them know (there was also a large staircase in the room to get to the bed).Second, the bed was hard as a rock and the pillow practically non-existent. I think the mattress was some kind of foam from the feel of it, but not memory foam, it didn’t have that much give. The pillow (only one provided) practically flattened out when I put my head on it. One of the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever encountered in a hotel.Finally, the walls are apparently paper thin. I was woken up nearly an hour before the time I’d set my alarm for by the sound of a baby screaming so loudly that it was like it was in the room with me. The woman at the front desk insisted the only baby staying there was in the other building. That’s *not* better. I don’t care *where* the baby was, it was so freaking loud (I’m self-censoring there so that booking.com doesn’t sensor me, but let’s just say “freaking” was not my first word choice) that I essentially had the baby alarm. Since I’d gotten in late the night before, that meant that I got way less sleep than I had wanted. So thanks for that.Based on the reviews, it sounds like others must have had much better experiences than I did. Good for them, but I won’t be back.
