Hotel-Restaurant Axion

We stayed for one night on our way to Italy and used a French-style room. The room was exactly as shown in the pictures. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was excellent. We would like to stay here again.

The room faced the road, so we used earplugs when we were sleeping.

We where very late in ,room was great and clean,shower hot and good water pressure Wifi was fast Was a Friday very busy but we found a table and ate some lovely Greek food ..Breakfast was different very Greek. It my taste…definitely did not need anything the rest of the day …very tasty ?

Staff are very friendly, room is simple but efficient. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. Greek restaurant was of very good quality.

We arrived late in the afternoon and as both hotel and restaurant guests use the same parking lot had some trouble finding a parking spot. Later in the evening we were able to park at the hotel parking lot so it was no problem in the end.

+ location is so strategic for public transport, only one train stop to rhein city center, and in front of hotel direct bus stop to basel+ room is so clean and modern (better than in the picture) + bed is really comfortable+ the bathroom is clean and have a good shower pressure+ free parking

- during our stay I can hear the water pipe from the neighbors bathroom - parking can be a bit tricky, but we always got lucky

If I had to pick one downside, it’d be the noisy refrigerator in the room when it’s turned on. Thankfully, you can easily switch it off if you don’t need it.

Accommodation was as expected, and very clean and proper. Bed was excellent, very comfy. Service was above expectations, both for dinner and breakfast. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

Clean modern hotel.close to the Swiss border but much better value than Switzerland . Nice comfortable rooms, very good mainly Greek style restaurant, excellent breakfast & staff. Free onsite parking. Perfect for our stopover on the way from UK to italy.

The hotel was easy to find along the road. We feared the traffic and train noise but the rooms are well insulated once the window if closed. The hotel offers ample free parking space.The room was of a decent size for the short stay and all looked in good shape and relatively new, including the bathroom.Breakfast offered an ample choice of salty and sweet products. Coffee was good as it is always a critical point of mine.

Convenient location close to the highway. Nice and clean rooms, friendly staff and it is also convenient to be able to have dinner in the restaurant.

The parking lot was full, as it was in the times we were here before, so we had to find a parking place somewhere on a nearby street

The room at Axion was comfortable and clean with no traffic noise even though the hotel is on a main road.We had dinner in the Greek restaurant at the hotel and chose the Curfu Plate for 2. The food was excellent with a wide selection of foods. The platter was LARGE and despite our best efforts between the 2 of us, we just couldn't finish it.The breakfast buffet was comprehensive, with a good range of both hot and cold foods. And it worked out well for us that the buffet was open early as we had an early train to catch.

There wasn't really anything to complain about. The location is a little out of the way, but there is a station for local trains just a step away, plus plenty of parking if you drive.

A lovely greek restaurant at the ground floor.

We asked for a double bed but we received a bed with 2 matresses. It was pretty unconfortable.

Perfect location for an overnight stay on route to Paris. Lovely cosy breakfast options..everything you need very lovingly served and done.

The people are very friendly , the food in the reataurant is good but not special , the drinks are expensive but good and the restaurant is open in the evening so no problem if you arrive in the evening.

when we arrived the parking place was full so we must wait till we can park our car , the naberhood is not nice it is next to a train station and many trafic we had no feelings of vacation , the breakfast is good but the coffee is not, they have only normal coffee and it is much to strong so not nice to drink , we missed our cappucino in the morning .

The rooms and communal areas are very well decorated and clean, the breakfast buffet is very generous and great greek influenced food! Comfortable beds
