Pros +
- Definitely very helpful and friendly staff. I had an issue with my room, and it was taken care of quickly, no fuss! I was in a twin room, beds are small, but very comfortable. I would not recommend those beds for a 6ft. 5 min walk from train.
- Room was very quiet and air conditioning efficient. Location being close to where friend I was visiting lives.
- Nice modern look. Clean.
Cons -
- I did not like having to deal with issues, when I got there, as I was exhausted. But it was done quickly. Not able to open windows. No coffee machine in the room. No safe in the room. Room could use a little more TLC. Parking is 20.- / 24 hrs., ok?
- Soap dispenser very difficult to use. Duvet too hot to sleep under. No proper glass tumbler (only paper cup).
- Parking situation is bad for being a non-central location hotel. Rooms are tight.

Clean, friendly staff, near train station
There are construction near by makes the hotel VERY difficult to find, they should put a temporary sign for direction. Parking is another issue, I am surprised it is not free.
Breakfast was good. Staff very helpful. Close to the train station. Easy access to transportation to the airport.
Nice clean room with modern outlook, the check-in and check-out process was easy, fine breakfast, coffee is also available for free between 6 and 10 am
The location is a bit far from the transport and need to cross the highway to get to it. Traveling to Zurich center will take approximately 30-40 minutes by tram. Keep in mind trams stop running after 12
The hotel is clean. Reception ok.
10 mins walk to Wallisellen station, not the main station, need to take another train to go to Zurich main station. They need to change their bed frame. It was broken and uncomfortable. It's the basic thing that we need in a hotel, especially a 3* hotel. No fridge, the room is small. In the description there is a view but their view is really nothing but trees. Pretty much disappointed.
Location, parking, staff
Bad signal of wi-fi.
The hotel was in a good location, near the train station.
We were traveling with pets (two small dogs). This was clearly part of our specifications when we did a search with Booking.com. When we checked in, we were surprised by the receptionist telling us about an additional fee per dog (20 CHF, I believe). I don't think this was stated anywhere in the Booking.com reservation process. Had we known, it would have been an important factor in our hotel selection process. I don't like surprise fees when I'm traveling and while this fee might have been acceptable if made clear when I made the reservation, it was not acceptable at check-in. The receptionist adjusted the fee downward slightly (two SMALL dogs). Not necessarily the hotel's fault, but the neighbors all around us were up and loud at 2:30 am (yelling, doors slamming, loud conversations, etc).
Very clean and quiet place. Healthy breakfast.
No free parking.
The fromt desk staff were phenomenal, easy to talk to ,helpful ,welcoming
Wish there was refrigerator in the room
Closeness to the airport (car+public commute) and city (by car).Options to buy water, snacks and stuff within the hotel.Comfy bed.Air-conditioning (which really wasn't an option at a lot of places in Switzerland).
Very basic for the price, I have stayed in other cities/countries at B&B chain, they are much generous like free coffee and water etc.
Very good price during peak season. Courteous and helpful staff at check in. Esther and Diana were amazing. Love our room. Will stay again when we visit Zurich in the future.
Hotel Review – Good Overall, But Lacking Storage SpaceThe hotel was generally okay — the room, staff, and location were all satisfactory, and the overall environment was pleasant.
However, there was one major issue: there was no cupboard or wardrobe in the room to store personal belongings. This made it very difficult to organize clothes or keep items neatly stored. As a result, the room quickly felt cluttered and untidy, even with minimal luggage. For a comfortable stay, especially for guests staying more than a night or two, having adequate storage space is essential. Its absence significantly impacted the functionality and comfort of the room. While the service and location were good, I would recommend the hotel management to install proper wardrobes or cupboards in the rooms to improve the guest experience.
Quiet location, spacious lobby, good noise insulation in rooms. Helpful staff.
Rooms lacked fridge, the walls could use a new coat of paint with several marks from suitcases hitting them.
We found the B&B Hotel Zürich to be a functional and straightforward option for a stay in the city, conveniently located next to Glatt Mall (a shopping center, Closing on Sundays)
However, several aspects of our stay were less than ideal, though perhaps to be expected from a 3-star establishment. The hotel's policy of having no phone in the room meant every request required a trip to the reception, which was inconvenient. We found the parking to be excessively expensive, and the rooms themselves were notably small. Furthermore, basic amenities such as hangers in the toilet, a coffee machine, and a refrigerator were missing, which impacted comfort and convenience. We also had to request an iron separately, adding to the list of missing in-room provisions.
The room is clean. Very friendly staff who helped us in our check in and breakfast, I would recommend getting the breakfast there as it is quite value for money.
The location is a bit of a walking distance from the station. But it is not in the city centre, so the area is quite peaceful and quiet. Not too bad.
Clean, nice area, breakfast buffet
I liked everything
Comfortable bed and bathroom, nice lobby with a cappuccino machine and free pastries.
Staff was moving at a glacial pace to check me in. Unfortunately 2 windows faced an office building and you could see the people working inside. People don’t want to be stared at while in their hotel room. I had to keep all the curtains closed making the room dark and feel small. The stool provided in the room was not an adequate chair. I thought the train ride into the center would be fine but ultimately I think staying in the center would be better.
The staff was super kind to let me check in early. Very good breakfast
The location, takes 10 mins to walk up till the bus stop. A bit far from the center.
