Hotel Königshof am Funkturm

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The breakfast bar is fantastic and has a huge range of foods.

It's a bit pricey for where it is. It's great for motorway connections but without a car you will struggle to get around.The toilet was separate in our room, but the sink was in the bathroom, so that made it a tad awkward.There sadly wasn't a kettle or tea/coffee facilities in our room but the staff was very helpful in bringing up hot water for us.

lobby should be bit bigger, was not hangers in the room i called many times then they given me. there were no elmira to hang clothes inside...

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is excellent: close to the train station and only about a 15-minute walk to the city centre. The underground parking is very convenient – it costs €15 per day, but for the comfort and ease of access it’s absolutely worth it.I had originally booked a single room, but they upgraded me for free to a larger room with a double bed. The staff at the reception were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing – honestly one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had.Overall, the value for money is great, and I would highly recommend this hotel. Solid 5+ out of 5 from me.

Very close to train station, nice hotel. Breakfast was basic, but food. Staff was friendly.

5 minutes walking distance from the main train station on quiet road, good breakfast, large room, walking distance to city centre and old town but also close to bus and tram connections. Good breakfast.

About the door knob, the owner might consider to do something so guests do not have to close the door by pulling hard thus making a loud thud. Each morning around 7am plus I was awakened by the doors open n close by neighbouring rooms. Other than that will be perfect.

Excellent facilities with spacious living room as well as a bedroom.

It was right next to a very busy road which was tricky to cross

Nice staff. Large bedroom with lots of space for clothes storage. Nice bathroom. Very large and comfortable bed. Breakfast buffet is very varied

Paved carpets on shelves that had many stains.

It was clean and comfortable, and I had room to move. Reasonably quiet. Great value for money. The manager who was there the night I arrived was really lovely. Once I realised the route, it was really easy and accessible.

The map on the website was a bit confusing. Not all the streets are named, and my straight ahead turned out to be in the wrong direction. As much my fault. I'm not always a great map reader. Was there guest WiFi?

There was no warm water and the room was cold, which was extremely disappointing when outside it was 0 degrees. The room also needs a renovation (besides fixing the cold-water issue): the shower was rusty and the tiles around the mirror were broken. The area is sketchy, wouldn't want to walk around there alone at night as a woman. Also, a kettle in the room would be an easy upgrade.

Clean and enough room

Fridge didn’t work, no aircon

Location.

The room and the bed was uncomfortable, no large towels.

Clean room, friendly personnel, close to the central station

Very loud at night. It was hot and impossible to sleep with closed windows. But with open windows, it was impossible to sleep either because of drunk people screaming at night
