- The owners were wonderfully kind and thoughtful from the very beginning of my stay. Having stayed in lots of hotels in and around Cannes, I have to say that this one is the most charming I have experienced. It feels like a home but the room I had was kitted out like a lovely boutique five star - a huge room with a huge balcony and fabulous bath tub. The bed was super comfortable, the Wi-Fi was super fast, and I enjoyed a lovely breakfast specially cooked by the hostess for me every morning. If you want a home away from home just minutes from the bustle of Cannes and Antibes then this is a great choice. Two minutes walk down to the waterfront, where there are lots of restaurants..
- We actually left an Airbnb a night early because it was so sub-par and checked into this boutique hotel without knowing much about it. What a huge surprise. When we pulled up, the place is on a very busy ugly road, but as soon as you get inside, it's an oasis. It was clear the hotel was designed with great care, certainly one of the best boutique hotels we've stayed in in the south of France. The place is very clean and the bedding, furniture, towels and Clarins bathroom amenities were top quality, no expense was spared. Linen duvets! The large breakfast was included and served to order. We walked right to town in 2 minutes. See notes on what we didn't like. Loved the owners -they were very friendly and lovely. All the guests were quite stylish and polite. Pool was beautiful though we didn't use it. We will certainly stay here again.
- Authentic small building, renovated recently. Close to the Golfe Juan marina.Laurent and his wife Virginia were super welcoming, helpful and attentive couple. You can see they love their boutique hotel.
Cons -
- It's a great place and we had no issues. It is a walkable location, but be sure to ask the owners how to get through the gated community so you don't need to go on the large road.
- Lack of a small fridge in the room, lack of a waste basket in the room (there is one in the bathroom thought), and as should all European hotels have and offer, a Vape or Raid anti-flying insect electric dispenser.
- The quilt is very small, only half the size of a bed, and you can only choose between covering the chest and covering the legs.

It is a very cosy house with a so nice design, next to the beach…Very clean place and very nice atmosphère…The owners are so beautiful…And the breakfast: so amazing !!!!
We stayed at La Batisse en Blanc this summer and had a fantastic time. The host and hostess and their lovely daughter are incredibly hospitable and make sure that the guests lack nothing. The beautiful old building is full of character and the garden, with swimming pool, is a lovely place to relax. The rooms are tastefully decorated and clean. As a guest, you lack nothing and that starts in the morning with a lovely breakfast. La Batisse is perfectly located just a stone's throw from the beach and many nice restaurants. The hosts are always very helpful in choosing these. All in all, we had a wonderful holiday and we recommend a stay at La Batisse en Blanc to everyone.
The garden is comfortable.

We loved this place and really enjoyed our stay! The design of our room was amazing and both our room and bathroom were very spacious and cosy. We also had a little terrace, it was perfect! The hosts are super nice and served an amazing breakfast. They clearly have a very good taste, both for interior design and for food! It is a very relaxing place to stay and perfect for visits of Antibes, the Cap and the beaches in the area. We were really sad to leave, we would happily have stayed there!
I didn't like anything about the property or the owners attitude. The owners were hot tempered, irritable, tired and aggressive failing to see that we were exhausted from travel and our own busy work lives, and just wanted to go to bed.The property is located right on a very busy and very noisy roundabout, which is one of the major roads into and out of Golf Juan/access routes to Vallauris and Cannes. It is a small mansion house, in quite small grounds, looks as though it has quite recently been, or is in the process of being renovated. Owners appear to have limited tolerance for needs of guests, and no interest in providing hospitality based on our experience. It is immediately adjacent to a public carpark, directly opposite from a large MOT test centre and overlooked by an apartment block with multiple balconies, so very far from the luxurious tranquil idyl promised. It is situated somewhere between Vallauris and Golf Juan. The marketing displays amongst others a close up picture of the main entrance door filligree but the actual context of this insignia is shown in the photos below; the lack of attention to the appearance of the area around the main entrance appears to reflect the general standard of the hotel offering = and the hotel is probably around 50% over priced in my opiThe vendors behaviour was out of keeping with the warmth. and relaxed attitude, that we experienced from very many other professionals and public in this region during our stay.
Booking.Com entry provided for Batiste en Blanc positions the property as something of an oasis: mid/high end, luxury, relaxing retreat. The web pictures and description mislead. The property has a very noisy location: if you wish to unwind/avoid fumes emergency sirens, vehicle horns, traffic of numerous cars, buses and heavy vehicles do NOT stay at this property since the property is bang on the pavement adjacent to the main road. The noise level makes it prohibitive to have the bedroom window open, even late night. The bedroom also has VERY basic provision in terms of room comfort and provision. The "minimalistic" cool chic advertised appeared in reality as furnished on a budget, a work in progress, monastic. Essentially the bedroom houses a bed and very little else, except tepid tap water in a flask. The bathroom housed a large bath with a shower attachment, 2 random Clarins small size products, a part full soap dispenser over bath. No actual shower facility, nowhere to hang/ put anything, no drapes/carpets. Basic. The 2 owner vendors (who it transpired after our arrival reside in this small property with several small children) weren't interested in resolving a complaint immediately on our arrival that the room (which incidentally faced a white concrete wall, rather than "overlooking the garden," as was indicated in room purchase description) was infested with dozens of ants running around the perimeter of 2 sides of the bedroom.I was not aware when I booked this property that the owners DO NOT WELCOME arrivals after 8 pm. I in fact only realised this days after we felt forced to leave the property having necessarily MOVED at midnight to alternate accommodation costing WELL UNDER HALF THE PRICE in nearby Juan Les Pins.
Lovely place Lovely owner all the time able to helpVery privateWe can recommend
Hostess and host are super friendly, beautiful authentic location. Had the holiday of my dreams here and will definitely return
There is one room with only bath and no shower, but upon request I’m sure that you can stay in a room with shower.
This is a beautiful boutique hotel with welcoming and considerate owners where no expense has been spared to create a stunning oasis.Golfe du Juan is an unpretentious typical French town on the Côte d’Azur. It is not the prettiest of towns but the beach is lovely, and there are some wonderful restaurants on the beach and in the marina. It is well located with a train station within walking distance to get to Antibes, Cannes, Juan Les Pins and many other places. The hotel is hidden behind a secret wooden door, in an unlikely place in the middle of the town, which once through reveals a delightful secret oasis of calm and serenity. The decor is simply beautiful. It’s elegant yet funky, with stylish touches like Clarins products, raffia cushions, and a beautifully restored mini chapel. The rooms are huge, and all individually and uniquely decorated. The pool is very clean and a lovely place to relax.Breakfast is delicious freshly baked pastries, yogurt with fruit and muesli, omelettes and fresh fruit salad with local jams and a variety of juices also on offer. Whilst the hotel doesn’t do food as such Virginie and Laurent are more than happy to whip up assiettes of charcuterie or fromage which can be served with a delicious bottle of chilled champagne or local rose or many other choices. It’s not a typical hotel but is small, chic and cosy but this does not detract from the professional experience offered by the hostsAnd the hosts are the best thing about La Bâtisse. Virginie and Laurent and their wonderful daughter Charlotte feel like old friends by the end of one’s stay. They are welcoming, kind and very attentive and nothing is too much trouble. They called restaurants to book (and cancel!) at our request, made recommendations for lunch and dinner and for beach clubs and other activities. They were ready to answer all our questions and were kind enough to let us check out late and still use the pool on our last day when we were reluctant to leave.
A unique small hotel with amazing owners who provide excellent service and look after you. A really restful and tranquil place to holiday Close to many lovely restaurants in town and also near the railway station if you wish to day trip along the Côte d’Azur
The unique decoration (interior & exterior), the homemade breakfast beautifully served, the kindness of the owners, the comfortable bed.
Could have just a bit better prices in this time of the year given you cannot use the great external/pool facilities. A bit cold in the bathroom, slippers may have helped.
The hotel was decorated beautifully, very tranquil and with a lovely garden and pool. Our room was modern, large and bright with air con, and very clean. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast is fresh and fantastic. Great location just five minutes from the beach and all the shops and restaurants of Golf Juan. On-site parking was great too, so convenient. I can't recommend this place highly enough, it's a gem :). We stayed for five nights and we will definitely be back!
The house was beautifully decorated - authentic with a modern touch. Hosts were lovely. The beds were very comfy. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend staying here.
A special place, a small oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the Cote d'Azur. Tastefully decorated rooms, beautiful, clean pool (I watched the robot clean every morning ;-)) very helpful hosts.
We absolutely enjoyed our two day stay at this beautiful property. Lovingly restored historic home with frescoed ceilings and original floors, set in a peaceful garden with stunning old trees. The owners/hosts are on site, super friendly and always helpful with perfect tips for the area. Breakfast is a la carte and delicious - best croissants we have had during a week in France. Bed, linens and pillows of outstanding quality. Fantastic Clarins bathroom amenities, better than in many 5 star hotels. Everything spotlessly clean. With a very nice pool on site we had to push ourselves to leave the property and explore. Location is very central for day trips to the many worthy villages in the area. Cannes 10 minutes drive, Monaco 1 Hour drive and the port 5 minutes walk. Definitely recommend coming here by car, for which there is ample private parking on the grounds. I just read a recent extremely negative review about this property and having just stayed there myself, I question the true motives of the reviewer - we can't be writing about the same property. Highly recommend.
The old wooden entrance door of the property is not very obviously indicated and we didn't see a doorbell so we were slightly confused on arrival, but the hosts opened the door very quickly.
Excellent house and room! Perfect breakfast! 5 minutes from the sea and train station. Clean swimming pool
In the second room it is better to make small light near bed
The location was great, the hotel was incredible, very nice design, very clean rooms and the owners were incredibly helpful and friendly.
Everything was great, no dislikes.
All is great! Place very nice, beautiful interiors, tasty breakfasts, hospitable owners
it would be great to have a mirror somewhere besides one in the bathroom
