Le Provençal

The size of the room and bathroom was lovely. The staff was was very nice and lively. The room was quiet.⁹

The bed was hard. The breakfast was too basic, no fruit or yogurt

Staff and owner were great.Maria restaurant. Near by was fabulous.

A small hotel located in a main street of Tarascon, on a street with lots of trees.The receptionist and the personal are really friendly. Plenty of parking space in the street, I could park my motorbike on the broad sidewalk. The reception is closed during the night, but you get a code to enter the hotel when you want.

The hotel had better days in the past; not really an issue, as everything was clean and comfy.

The staff gave us a really warm welcome. They were very nice and kind.It is located few mintues walking from downtown and historical places.The room was functional.

Very good location, a short walk from the old town. Kind host.

In the morning, there was no warm water in the shower, we waited for several minutes, but it did not appear.

Basic accommodation, did the job for a 2 night stay. Close to train station. The owner kindly took us to a venue due to taxi’s not being very available. We appreciated that thank you

Friendly & helpful manager & staff. Good breakfast. On site parking. Central location near station. Good for travelling to Nimes, Arles & Avignon.

We understood from the booking site that breakfast was included, but the manager maintained it was not. We are not usually confused by these things & wouldn't usually take breakfast. He contacted booking who said it was not included. Even though he was kind enough to waive the charge , which we offered to pay, we are unhappy this situation arose.When on holiday we like a drink with our evening meal but in Tarascon none of the bars & restaurants served after 21.00, & the fast food restaurants were all alcohol free.If you are used to city breaks probably better to stay in Arles or Nimes.

The location. Rooms were small but comfortable and clean.

The reception seemed uninterested in providing basic information about choices of restaurants, etc

Parking was right out front on the Main Street! There was an excellent croissant shop and a fabulous restaurant nearby.

It was a little outdated.

Super friendly staff. Very quiet zone and close to city center.

Stair lights were not at point. Shower shapoo case was empty.

We stayed a few nights at Le Provençal and found the room size for three (2 adults, 1 child) to be larger than normal when booking for three--there was actually room to put a suitcase which often doesn't happen. Our dog was welcome, too. The staff were very friendly and helpful and parking was easy. The breakfast was simple but fine--bread, croissants, juice and coffee/tea etc. The hotel is in the centre of Tarascon and it was a good base to visit the surrounding areas.

Decent sized room, cleaned every day, although the decor is a bit tired. Air con is good. Friendly staff.

Didn’t feel particularly at ease in the area although nothing untoward happened. Not fair to blame the hotel though.

The staff are super friendly. I arrived with my bicycle and I could place my bicycle in the garage. I stayed for three nights and was fully rested. Furthermore, the sweet receptionist could recommend good locations to tour with my bike.

Some guest were in and exiting their room (13 times...) loudly in the middle of the night. This not the fault of the hotel, but the other guests.

I got the room with window towards country yard.That is why the night was quiet. The room had efficient air conditioning. Lot's of parking places on the street. Overall it was nice and neat.

Typical French breakfast is quite disappointing comparing to other european countries.I was surprised that bed had only sheet and pillow, there was no linen or blanket.

Easy to find and close to the train station. The room was very comfortable, clean and well-serviced. The staff were friendly and the hotel overall is good value and well-placed as a base for exploring the area.

No hair dryer in the room.

Location was on Main Street but no traffic noise and we could park bikes in the garage

very friendly and helpful staff, a great breakfast every morning and the rooms were clean and today

the shower over the bath was set back on the wall so it was difficult to use the shower properly and the shower screen was at the wrong end of the bath so lots of water went in the floor
