Pros +
- Pleasant and quiet place to stay in Rüdesheim. I was in the room with a balcony (right below the hotel sign outside) and had a great view of the church. The bed was comfortable, plenty of warm water in the shower and the location was perfect for exploring the city. I even had a nice meal at the Chinese restaurant inside the hotel.
- Great location, ample parking (for a fee), super clean & newly renovated rooms with great showers that are pet friendly…
- Great location ,no frills but very homely and nice breakfast
Cons -
- Mid-June is hottt… since no a/c a fan in the room would be most welcomed… we travel with a small one but it didn’t help much…
- I never saw a person in the hotel. This may be due to the fact that this was the off-season.
- Neglecting to emphasize that you don’t need to park the car in the official parking lot for x euros per 24 hours but it is perfectly free parking around the corner in the side streets. The bed radio is indeed superfluous and the alarm ticks loud at night.. simply remove the thing. Though the bathroom tiling is ‘ old style 1970s’ it ís clean on the cement lines and no mould to be detected. I think it has been refurbished but still in old style: the word is ‘ quaint ‘.. which befits the charm of Rüdesheim and the Drosselgasse.

Hotel Hohn is ideally located in rudesheim. The staff had very little English but were so friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and comfortable with fantastic black out blinds. No tea or coffee making facilities but at the price for the room I wouldn’t complain as it was still great value for money
The hotel is centrally located in town.

Good price.convenient location for the occasion (februari).indeed no disturbances from the goods trains in the night.

This stay...nothing. First time it was great.
Since our last trip there, it seems the hotel changed ownership. The information on booking.com is outdated. There is no breakfast, no coffee, and no one there till around noon time. We were told they had a problem with the water and that was why there was no food served in the mornings. But there was water to our room? Our first night there was terrible. The next morning when I got up, I called booking.com. and told them what the situation was and that I wanted a refund. They contacted the owners and we go moved to a bigger room (at no extra cost) and it had a refrigerator. My wife has insulin.
Room was clean,bed was comfortable
Reception unattended,no chance for a breakfast or any meals,no tea or coffee making facilities, but were given a kettle & cups on request.More like a boarding house than a hotel
Breakfast adequate but not huge choice. Parking handyPosition for town centre superb.nice and clean.Would visit again
reception staff not very friendly this trip unlike previous trips to this hotel
Great location. The manager upgraded us when we arrived as he said the room we had booked was not very big. The roomWe received was deluxe for us :) it was large, bathroom had a hairdryer and there was a pedestal fan i greatly appreciated. Windows have shutters to block out light and noise. We parked in nearby public parking for €12 before checking in, to then find out we could have parked for free - so heads up check in first. Really happy with everything and very friendly staff.
Nothing to not like. Fan in bathroom made a loud humming noise when light was, but that was it!
Nothing. It was not worth the price, half would even be to much. The room was very smal, there were no room for our luggage,We had to place it in fromt of the entrence door. That it not very firesafe. In the bathroom it was impossible to have our bading things an werrings. It has by far been one of the worst places we have payed so much for so little.

Cleanliness - the bedroom and bathroom bins had not been emptiedNo coffee in the room. Someone had used the coffee sticks in the room and left the papers in the bin. When I asked the front desk for coffee sticks I was told there were none, they were finished.
Handy location, good breakfast, comfortable bed.
Room was small and a little cramped.
location and parking
coffee machine broke down and not man enough fr the number of guests
Crap
We booked secure parking for our motorcycles, it was confirmed, but when we arrived there was No secure parking & the guy at reception was unhelpful.
Have stayed in this hotel a number of times and it remains good. We had one of the superior rooms which had recently been refurbished. The finish was excellent. The new bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was a good choice, Rudesheim remains one of our firm favourites. The ambience is great. The hotel position is great for parking and easy access to the town centre.
As we age, the lack of a lift is showing especially as we were on the second floor. It wont stop us returning. Adding a lift would be a bonus.
I stayed just one night. Due to that I experienced less. I can only say that the hotel staff are really kind and helpful.
Toilet cleanliness was a little below my criteria. It looked clean but the smell was unpleasant.
Great location and friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast.
The property is very close to the Drosselgasse and not too far from the train station. The rooms were a good size and we enjoyed that the window could be opened and there was also a fan in the room to keep us cool.
The room was a bit dusty, but other than that, it was kept clean. We liked that a fan was included but wished the rooms were air conditioned. The only con is that it is located toward the top of the hill so the walk can be harder for those with mobility issues.
Good location. A few minutes walking distance to the City Centre and/or River front. Quiet nights. Staff were kind, welcoming, and polite. Would recommend for anyone wanting to explore Rüdesheim.
