    Pros +

    • Old World character, new world amenities! This was the nicest thing about my stay in Germany. Thank goodness for the air conditioning on 90 degree days! Great breakfast, perfect location, nice family-run establishment.
    • Location very good Staff and hosts very professional breakfast menu excellent
    • Great location near the Christmas market and riverboat docks. Excellent breakfast.

    Cons -

    • There's nothing to complain about here - everything was exactly as hoped-for when I made the reservation - did not disappoint!
    • Arrived just before stated check-in time and their parking was full. Parked about a five-minute walk away from hotel after dropping bags.
    • We had 2 rooms booked and they both smelled bad ( a bit of a sewer smell together with chemicals that were used to get rid of it i guess). It could be because we had rooms next to the cleaning rooms with waschingmachines etc? Also the breakfast was very basic with little choice. But it was ok for one night.

The location was perfect for the christmas market. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was big and clean. The nice lady by the reception let us stay 2h more on the parking place what was highly appriciated.

Good location, and very good breakfast.

A bit old style room. Might need some refresh.

Very nice village hotel with an elevator. Good breakfast. Parking was first come first serve, but I got into a spot. Rudesheim is very popular. My single room was perfect for me. Good location to walk all over town and down to the river. At the front desk you could buy a ticket to do the cable car/walk/boat day. I loved it.

    Everything was great.

Loved the breakfast and the staff there. Staff was great everywhere. The room was clean and tidy. Loved the duck theme and the decor all around - it was very quaint. With a fan in the room, we were plenty comfortable.

The bathroom is quite small getting in and out of the shower. The television would not connect and we tried every way possible to watch something. I even had a 19 year old granddaughter with me.

My 4 year old was taken with the ducks in decor all around. The room was awesome. From the choice room and great air conditioning, to the help from the front desk, the hotel was wonderful and taken care of. The details were great, and I'll try to stay here again when I return.

There was a little fan that went off every so often, in the bathroom, but I think that was due to us running the air conditioning.

Check in was very smooth even though we arrived late (after front desk was no longer staffed). Room was very clean and comfortable. I appreciated the "help yourself" coffee bar and refrigerator in the lobby. Breakfast was amazing! The staff were very professional and helpful. In fact, when our taxi to the train station was running late, Peter drove us in his own car to the station to make sure we didn't miss the train! Incredibly kind and much appreciated. The location was perfect - close to everything, but far enough away that it wasn't noisy at night.

I wish they offered laundry service on site. We were continuing our travels and couldn't find a laundromat nearby to wash our clothes for the next week of traveling.

I had a comfort single room and it was really comfortable - the bed, the chair desk, the bathroom, everything was made for comfort. The bed was wider than most single beds. The staff was professional and helpful, the private parking was very convenient and the breakfast was good. Checking-in late was well arranged with key code, but you have to inform the hotel in advance if arriving late. All in all, I am very satisfied. Have stayed several times in this hotel and would stay again.

Beautiful and clean! The duck theme throughout delighted. Public Parking was very close and breakfast was delicious. Thank you!

    The location is good.

The location is good, but the room (the biggest one available) doesn’t have enough space. The worst for me is that the room had a terrible smell. It smelled like baby diapers (to not name the real smell of it). The breakfast had no eggs at 09:30, even if it ends at 10:00. The lady receptionist was sympathetic, but the male receptionist was not so pleasant and not helpful at all. I left the hotel on a Sunday, and the reception is only working until 14:00. So you might want to consider that if you want to leave your luggage there.

Lovely Large comfortable room with tea and coffee. Very attentive and helpful host and hostess and breakfast room staff.Loved the distinctive decor - No standard grey hotel this!! Lots of attention to detail.

It’s a beautiful, cozy hotel to stay in. Definitely recommend it.

Most of the staff were nice and helpful but unfortunately we had a not so pleasant interaction with one of the receptionists because two of us asked the same question from her. I get that people are not always in the mood but I think a receptionist’s main job is to answer guests’ questions.

Very comfortable, air-conditioned room with great views. Friendly, family run hotel in the old town.

The only thing that could have made it better would have been the availability of evening meals

    8NinaPosted on: 8-9-2024

Lovely modern room, everything was very clean. Breakfast was lovely. Very central and convenient location.

The room had no air-conditioning and was facing the road. With an open window we had two sleepless nights. A fan is provided in the room (I guess the management is aware of this problem), but with the windows closed that provided little comfort in a very hot room. If I were to book again, I would ask for a room facing the inner courtyard.

    8LoreleePosted on: 7-30-2024

The location of the hotel is great without a doubt. The garage is also very good. We found enough spaces (which is usually a problem in Rüdesheim) and they are a decent size.

I am not sure if it was just our room, but it was very outdated. Clean and in rather good condition but very old. I would suggest they remove the floor carpets. There is no AC and considering it was about 24-25 degrees outside, I didn't think it would be much of a problem. But it was. We had to sleep with both windows open and still not much of a difference, so just something to keep in mind.

Beautiful boutique hotel. Spotlessly clean and modern rooms. Friendly staff plus great location. I have changed my travel plans to come back here next week.
