Hotel Unter den Linden

Great location, a short drive from the main town. We had a view of the Rhein and watched river traffic, and also a huge range of trains. A crumbling castle stood opposite the hotel. The food for breakfast was terrific, and everyone on staff was helpful and friendly. I recommend it without qualification.

There is a restaurant on site. The hotel is in a nice area. Easy parking

The staff were absolutely fantastic. We were the only guests at the hotel at the time and everyone made sure we had a pleasant stay. The location is in a beautiful scenic spot.

The room was slightly outdated and the carpet had a bit of an odour.

The breakfast buffet was elegant and sumptious. The open air seating for meals was lovely. The cuisine was first-rate. More than anything, the staff was enlightened and helpful in every way, as if every need had been anticipated. This charming inn and health spa is highly recommended in every area.David, Chicago

The hotel location, the restaurant, and the open area in front of the hotel were so nice. Check-in was very easy. The room was clean and very comfortable.

Comfortable family run hotel in a great location overlooking the Rhine. Breakfast & parking is included in the room rate . The hotel has an excellent restaurant. We are repeat visitors

Very clean, helpful staff.

The restaurant was very good for breakfast but a disaster for our dinner. Bad food, felt like prepared ahead of the service. My salad was drowning in balsamic vinegar. Tasteless.

No elevators, but I knew that before booking. It’s a classic German hotel fitting for the location.

Nice hotel in Assmannshausen (not Rüdesheim), good location for hiking along the Rhine, beautiful terrace with view of the Rhine, average food.

The staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful.The beds were great, quite firm, just how we like it, breakfast was very good, plenty of free parking alongside the hotel and the views from our balcony were great.

I suppose a fridge would have been nice, but we were aware there was not going to be one, so no complaints.

The rooms have balconies and the view is exceptional. The staff was super accommodating and friendly. The rooms were super clean and are cleaned daily.

The stairs are for me a challenge. I would prefer a lift to get baggage in and out of my room. There are rooms available on the ground floor, but without the balcony I always prefer.

Mediocre.

Everything could have been better. The hotel is very basic, no pleasant surprises. Nothing in the bathroom, not even cotton disks, no lotions, the bathroom is too small. The room did not correspond to the photos on the site. The breakfast is not bad if you are not very demending. But no extras, nothing sweet for tea, no fruit, one type of yogurt.But if you have a room with a view, the Rhein is at your feet. You can watch and relax.The advantage is that the Hotel is dog friendly and some people in the team are really nice. But I will not go there again

Great location, comfortable room, quiet. The bathroom was a small compared to the size of the room.

Great location on the Rhine with other bars and restaurants close by. Nice eating area outside and very helpful staff. Food was good and the breakfast the same.
