Great location in center of Schagen, large rooms with kitchenette. Nice balcony. Parking is on street.

Smelled a bit like cigarettes from smokers outside on balconies.

The Hotel was really neat, and has all the facilities available and working fine, good reception on arrival, decently nice breakfast, cozy bed and good location.

Great location! The remodel of the facilities is very well done. I had stayed at the hotel several years ago, when it had the old wooden staircase. The modern update is beautiful. Also, the breakfast was amazing. Many options for any appetite. All of the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Getting my room cleaned in a timely manner seemed to be a challenge for the staff. It seemed my room was always the last to be cleaned, even after speaking to front desk personnel. I stayed in the hotel for 8 nights, it seems like this could have been worked out. I was even offered free drink coupons because of the inconvenience - but that never happened.

Great place for tulip visit. Nice rooms. Modern. Close to everything in town and close to tulip fields. Close to restaurants and bars. Nice stay.

Wedding was noisy but we knew ahead of time.

The breakfast could have had more full grain products. However there was a good selection and fresh fruit. The coffee was terrible, both the cappucino and the regular coffee.

There is no criticism. We were even informed in advance of our stay that there would be a party happening on one of our nights. On the night in question the staff were extremely attentive that we were seated away from the party regardless of the fact that it wasn’t too noisy to begin with

Absolutely top class, well appointed spacious room, nicely decorated, and with a balcony.Although I did not eat at the hotel, the restaurant looked very nice, I will eat here next visit.Great shower / water pressure / toiletries.

Nothing to dislike here!As general note on the town of Schagen (absolutely no reflection on this or any other hotel), I would mention that, given that the hotel is around 10 / 12 minute walk from train station coupled with the fact that theres never any taxis available at the taxi stand, (I've never even seen one in my several visits) be prepared for the walk if arriving by train, especially if raining or with other than light baggage.

Breakfast was very good. Room was quiet and comfortable so I slept well.

Air conditioning was set to a low temperature while I was out. It took all night to warm up. No switch for the main light at the bedside. My evening meal on the 4th was very good except that service was very slow (there were few people eating and plenty of staff).

There was a band playing in the restaurant which finished at 01:00. Although we were at the top floor we could hear the music clearly. Although the hotel did inform us 4 days in advance and provide us with complementary earplugs it still was an unexpected surprise. Since we didn’t have an alternative we had to accept the noise

Comfortable hotel in great location - right in the centre of Schagen. This was our second time here ( as we have family nearby) and I'd happily stay again.

Room was cold on arrival as a large window had been left open. The self check-in felt a little impersonal.

TV did not work. Unrepairable. Room was cold. I asked to be looked at. Did not help. Only in the morning I found out that cold air came through filter above window. Nobody told me. Restaurant very limited dinner choice. Only 2 fixed manus. No à la carte.

The ventilation of the room was very noisy and that spoiled everything else in my holiday! My wife wanted to cook a delicious appetizer for our aromatic wine, but the electricity we needed was not available for more than an hour! The microwave was missing the plate.!

Location was central and breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable and bathroom clean. Staff friendly and helpful.

There was no coffee machine in the room, just a kettle. I found this very disappointing as when booking it said there was a coffee machine. Also no hotel parking but there was a school closed by where we could park.

The hotel was modern and clean. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was superb. Also got upgraded to a suite without extra charge.

No hotel parking, had to park my car at a school. The topper of the bed tended to slide off.

The superior room for 2, with my son was excellent with all facilities we needed. Bed was very comfortable.
