- We had a nice view of the Mediterranean. The room was comfortable. The staff was very nice.
- Lovely place
- This hotel has a very nice view. The location is busy and traffic noise was an issue during the day, but it did quiet down a little at night. The restaurant food was very good, although we did not have breakfast here. The air conditioner worked well and the bathroom was spacious. The bartender was very sweet and she helped make our stay even better. The bus stop is right out the front door and the train station only a 10 minute walk. There is also a grocery store around the corner and a very nice bakery. There is a parking spot across the street for when you first check in which was helpful. We walked the beachside to Menton which was nice. Do yourself a favor and eat at L'Hippocamp. It is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel and the food and views were amazing.
Cons -
- Parking could be a problem as street parking is the only available parking. We were there on a Sunday night so street parking was free overnight.
- Difficult to park…but they did have an open spot for us for 15 euros
- I had reserved a parking space and there was an issue the first night and I had to be put in a parking garage that was about an eight minute walk away. They did fix it the second night for the parking in front.

It was perfectly placed, by the beach. It was spotlessly clean and the staff were lovely.
The only downside is that parking is very limited with paying street parking.opposite. We were lucky and got a spot right outside but that was sheer flûte.
Loved the Le Corbusier photographs and art works. Overall interior design very well done with all the references to the artists. A great location near the water and parking was great too.
Smokers down below our room meant we could not open our doors at certain times.
Fantastic location right on the sea front. Sea view rooms have a lovely balcony with a great view.
Quite expensive - although all hotels in the area are
Location to buses and trains excellent.
My room was above a bar and noisy the receptionist wouldn’t move me to a quiet room unless I paid an upgrade of 40+ Euros. She said it was quiet in the evenings. It was loud until midnight and I had a taxi at 6 am so had little sleep. If the room is available just give the quest the room in future. I don’t understand why they don’t get customer experience or make customers a priority.
Loved the staff and the service but was shocked by the glorification of men in the room hallways through giant photos. I come from the US and this is utterly awkward from an American standpoint. Women do great things too you know!
Beautiful hotel. Spacious, airy very tastefully decorated room with good balcony overlooking sea. Maybe ask to avoid the room with the huge tree taking out a third of your view! Nonetheless, the tree didn't spoil it. Magic few days! Staff were absolutely superb. Really helpful and friendly. Nice touches such as along with water there's a couple of complimentary soft drinks - and very good coffee. Highly recommend.
Great view, Wonderful people who work there and they were very helpful
We had to unplug items to have outlets next to the bed for the phones.
Very clean, no pretension lovely design and spacious
Updated hotel with stylized design. Great balcony overlooking the ocean. Simon went over and above to help us, as non French speakers.
Nothing, limited parking maybe.
The property was really unclean the members of the staff were a bit rude and not helpful at all. I tried to switch the room because it was dirty. She said no but we can change the pillow that was dirty. I tried explaining that the whole room was dirty.
The property was dirty the receptionist was rude.
Cleanliness, efficiency, small touches
We had several difficulties at the hotel, since our room was flooded and the air conditioning in the room they upgraded us to did not work, but they were fortuitous things, and the hotel and its staff always responded excellently..We only have gratitude for them
The parking garage is 300 meters from the hotel.
Location. Across the street from the beach
The staff was not very helpful and lied to us about the Parking situation, telling us it was full, only to give a parking spot to the couple after us.
The room was a good size and had plenty of storage, toiletries etc. it also had a decent sized balcony Everywhere in the hotel was very clean and the staff excellent.
Our room was right by a roundabout, main road and over an extremely noisy cafe with loud music.
The room was very clean, great size and bathroom and separate toilet great sizes too. It was very modern and more than met our needs. Beds firm and air con quiet. We opted not to pay extra for sea view, bonus to this was the sun was on our balcony early evening whilst sea view rooms were in shade, down side you were looking directly into balconies of residential apartments opposite. There is a bakery and local bar/shop below the hotel and a supermarket 1 minute walk. Drinks in the hotel more expensive than the local bar so we went there.. would have love to have used the hotel seating but at 4 euros an aperol (for comparison) we went to local bar. Train station 10 minute walk so very convenient (make sure to go to Carnoles station for this hotel and not Roqubrane-cap-Martin which is the other end of the town). Deck chairs to borrow to sit on beach. There is a sister hotel in Menton, the Napoleon who were super welcoming when we visited and said we were at the Victoria.
The drinks prices were really only thing that would have liked different we would could have enjoyed more of the hotel. There isn’t anything else that we would have changed.
The staff were excellent, room very big and comfortable. Location is great. Very clean as well
Beach front property
Needs to be refreshed looking a bit tired & no English speaking tv channels.
