Clean and wonderful location

The hotel advertises a special gift for pilgrims. Front desk made excuses about it being related to covid and was not current. This made no sense to me and seemed dismissive.

The location was perfect, right next to the iconic bridge, and the view was amazing. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel had a very charming and elegant atmosphere.

Everything was great — I have nothing negative to mention.

All the staff were wonderful, polite, efficient helpful. The location is superb, on the promenade beside the transporter bridge near to shops, restaurants and train station for Bilbao. I was sick, our ferry was cancelled and we stayed 3 nights. My wife shopped in Bilbao while I enjoyef the hotel facilities.

There was nothing about the hotel to dislike.

Good location

The rooms are not so big and comfortable as in the pictures. I think we booked something and we were given something else.

The hotel was very close to Bilbao and right in the middle of the town so lovely to walk around. The Colgante Bridge that took cars across the river was a joy to watch and the proximity to Bilbao Port made it very easy to get to the Ferry in the morning.

Great location clean tidy

I went for breakfast but only wanted a coffee & pasta del nata. I offered to pay. But was refused. Shame! Had to go along the street to find a cafe.

Cozy, comfortable bed, easily accessible public transportation, great location. Perfect view and really nice staff

Lovely hotel overlooking the bridge. Room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Nice to have a balcony looking onto the river. Staff helpful. Breakfast provided an excellent choice. Great to have 24/7 coffe and tea available in the foyer.

Beautiful location (and hotel) next to the Puente Colgante and convenient (close to high way) if you would like to make day trips to other places. City Centre of Bilbao was 40 minutes by public transport (incl. 10 minutes walk to the metro station). Staff was very professional and adviced us to park at the Indigo parking very close by to be able to charge our EV.

Quite some sign of use in our room. However, the design was beautiful and the room was spotlessly clean.

Fantastic location with easy access into Bilbao centre. Good value car parking only a few steps away from hotel. Had very comfortable beds and good nights sleep. No real view but we only had basic room.

Excellent location on the Camino and right by the river with a fabulous view of the Transporter Bridge. It was a Saturday night and there was a party going on outside which really added to the atmosphere.Great room, very comfortable and a fine view.

The location was superb. River view of a UNESCO Heritage Bridge. Bars, cafes and restaurants on both sides of the river. Bilboa very accessible bus Metro. Staff amazingly helpful and friendly. Stayed in hotels etc.. all over the world but this place is special!

Everything, the staff were excellent, very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The Location was so nice, very historical area and great walk along the river. We had a room overlooking the river which was so nice. Bar and restaurant very nice, the girls serving us were so good and the food was excellent. We would definitely go back and also recommend to friends travelling back to Uk as you are so near Bilbao.

Not a 4 star hotel. 1st room black mould in the shower, black marks on the walls loose toilet seat, 2nd room the premier room, loose sink tap shower head leaking mould in the shower. Damp and mould around the windows. Lifts were dirty hall carpets all marked and stained. Total lack of maintenance and cleaning.

not actually related to the hotel but the struggle to enter the steps into the hotel was unexpected due to the large group of street traders who were hanging around the entire front area of the hotel, not only causing an inconvenience but also a little discomforting due to the large numbers congregating outside the steps. We arrived at 2pm and they were still there at 9pm! Perhaps the management could do something about it?

- Great location just by the Puente Colgante- Fluffy towels- Good blackout curtains- Views of the bridge

- Poor soundproofing in rooms and doors that slam pretty easily. So it gets very noisy when other people exit their rooms carelessly (which is the norm)- Rooms try to have a cool modern design but materials are cheap and a bit worn off. Room walls were dirty.- 22 eur breakfast is of low value. No natural orange juice. Bread is frozen and dry. Scrambled eggs tasted floury. Very mediocre for a 4 star hotel.
