- Good for one night stay in transit
- It was a comfortable room and there was a good breakfast.
- Lovely large bed. Handy for the motorway.
Cons -
- Please doublecheck the cleaning. See the picture of one of the towels.
- It’s in an industrial area and there weren’t many options for an evening meal as it was a Sunday and most places were closed. I went without dinner as I wasn’t prepared to eat at Burger King. I was a bit disappointed that the in duty manager didn’t help much with my finding dinner.

Staff were very friendly and when we had a small issue the customer service was excellent. Great room with extra pillows. Very comfortable bed and quiet. Nice strong shower with plenty of hot water. Great location just off motorway for our drive back to UK. Small restaurant on site with decent wine and typical French dishes. Tea and coffee in room.
PET OWNERS BEWARE - we had a serious issue - this was a great place to stay, the room was lovely in an annex to the main building with a double door entry which was great for our 2 cats. The bed was big and comfortable and the heating was great. There was a reception and bar/restaurant to the side of the rooms. Good location off the motorway too. The reception guy on the day we arrived was excellent, very helpful and friendly and spoke great English. We were very pleased as we thought we had found the perfect stop off on our travels to the ferry in northern France, but..............please see what we did not like.........
Pet owners beware - we chose this place specifically as it had parking and was pet friendly. Everything was great and we were really happy until 9am of the morning we were due to leave. Checkout was before 12pm and at 9am the cleaner decided to enter our room unannounced. I was in the bathroom and my husband had only just got dressed, we could have been anything and she did not even knock first!!! The cleaner opened the first door and seeing my husband through an internal window into the room she then left. My issue is that we had pets in the room and that the room opened directly onto the garden/street not into a hotel corridor or lobby. I complained at reception and the guy was very sorry but of course could do nothing and said I needed to complain directly to Campanile. There is a 'do not disturb' hanger but I did not put this out as it would have been outside getting wet overnight in 2 degrees, we had not checked out and the checkout was not for another 3 HOURS!!! Had we left our room to go to the main reception area to get breakfast (which we were planning on doing) there is every chance the cleaner would have entered the room fully. Due to the tiny space between the two entry doors she would have had to keep the first door open to enter with her cleaning stuff meaning both doors would be open and my cats could have darted out into the open and gone missing for ever. I was very distressed by the thought of this as our cats are like our children. Imagine losing them in a foreign country. Sadly we will now not stay again and I'm so sad as I was very happy that I thought I had found a suitable place. Hence the low mark after the rest of it was so positive! I felt so let down and shudder to think how that day could have turned out had my husband not been in the main room.
Location very good for proximity of hospital.Very quiet and clean.Good breakfast.
I reserved 3 nights and pay $$$ ok correct.I need to extend 3 more nights and when I checked out I discovered the price for balance rised more than double of the original book.I consider it not correct.A gentle receptionist explain me that is a normal policy of the hotel but still I considered it a very bad marketing attitude.I should be advised for a minimal information when I extended my staying or better respect a continuity of a previous reservation.

it is perfect
Loved the refurb. Manager excellent as a very busy evening. Evening meal excellent , will come again.
Good location, with a short walk to the tram. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of variety of food on offer
Staff were professional and attentive.
Cozy, spacious room, with a big bed for a couple.
There was almost no soap in the bathroom for two people.
Disabled facilities were very good. Very dog friendly. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. Would stay again?
Have been staying here overnight for the last four years on our way to Spain ??
Well placed for our stop over. Friendly and helpful staff members. Very clean. A good evening meal (duck parmentier) and a good breakfast, both with a surprising amount of choice.
We stayed at this hotel as my husband had an early medical test at Haut Leveque Hospital which was only 5 minutes away. The staff were very kind, and allowed us to check out later, due to the medical test being 5 hours long.As my husband was not able to eat before the test, they served us in our room which really helped!
room had a shower; was a room specially for disabled persons which was NOT the request. Shower was the wish. Borne for charging electric cars was on site as well a supercharger accross the street
breakfast: croissants were old; hard boiled egg was cold
Clean, easy check-in, excellent parking, good breakfastLocation is perfect for hospital visit as it is an easy walk. Kettle and tea coffee in room. Good wifiShowee hair gel was good.
Bed was too soft., Could not use the bath as there was no plug. Room 018.
Absolute rubbish and will never ever stay in a campanile hotel again.
This hotel was booked four months ago, with a specific request for an accessible room for disabled person, with a telephone call to the hotel to confirm this arrangement. Upon arrival we were allocated a room which was not what we had requested. Approach the reception and was informed that they had No available accessible rooms as some one had stayed the day before and asked to stay another night. The room given us was totally unacceptable, my wife is severely disabled and can hardly stand or walk. There was no room for her wheelchair, and it would not go through the door into the bathroom . I complained bitterly to the hotel and they did offer me a 15% reduction but this was poor compensation for the discomfort and agony for my wife.
Very nice and cozy place, room is clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend to my friends or colleagues this hotel. Breakfast did not used we have an early appointment in restaurant in Bordeaux.
Awful and expensive
Stuck to the floor in the bedroom. More like a hostel than a hotel. Very budget accommodation but without a budget price tag. Definitely cost more than advertised. Would never come back here again even if someone paid me! Not even fit for a dog!
the location is near our office, and the breakfast is quite good. The service is also nice and kin. it is really good place when I travel to Bordeaux again.
