Pros +
- The family room had a big spacious bathroom
- Well located, cozy. Comfortable bedding, very clean
- late check-in via keybox possible
Cons -
- The walls are thin. The doors are not sound proof. We were awake really early because of all the noise from the hall.
- The shower stall needs updating. It was ok for us, but you should know there is not an elevator and the room was sort of tight for larger bodies.
- We missed/forgot to pay at the hotel according to the agreement because the reception told us at departure that everything is payed already. Just a few hours later we uncovered that the apartment had already contacted booking.com flagging us for not having paid the stay. It took us at two hours of calling booking.com (twice) to clarify that this was not an act of crime but a miscommunication with the fault of the hotel. To proof our non-criminal intentions, we were asked to take actions after arrival at home around Sunday midnight.TLDR: The hotel behaved really unprofessional by flagging us at booking.com even though the missed payment was the fault of the hotel. With only one single attempt to call us and the hotels impatience for a call-back (3 hours was not fast enough), we got flagged at booking.com and needed to invest a lot of time clarifying the situation.-> Customers have to pay for the faults of the hotel.

An unsettling experience that made me feel unsafe as a solo female traveler.
I had a very uncomfortable experience during my stay. I'm a solo female traveler, and although the check-out time was 11:00, at 9:36 AM an older man (possibly staff I don't know) entered my room without knocking or saying anything. He used an electronic key and just walked in while I was still inside.Thankfully, I was awake and dressed — but if this had happened earlier, or at night, it would have been incredibly shocking. There was no way to lock or secure the door from the inside, which made me feel unsafe and completely exposed.I didn’t report it at the time because I was upset and just wanted to leave. But this kind of behavior is unacceptable. I hope the hotel takes privacy and guest safety — especially for solo travelers — more seriously in the future. - Elena
Disappointing
They didn't send me the pin code as they said, and after 2 reminders, I got the wrong one. I needed to call again.Uncomfortable pillows and only cold water at the sink
There was nothing I liked about this hotel.Including the service that doesn't care about the customer's feelings, doesn't care to listen to us tell about the condition of the room. We don't feel good. They don't think about maintaining their image of the hotel. They only said that they will change the room for us, but we don't dare to satay here again the next night.
I couldn't check in because the staff didn't tell me the details if I checked in late and arrived. We couldn't speak German and had to ask my friend to find out where the key was. If we didn't have a German friend, we would have had to sleep on the street. When I got to the hotel room, the hotel didn't have an elevator. I had to drag my heavy luggage up to the third floor. When I opened the door, there was no drinking water,The bathroom has black stains in the shower room. When taking a shower, there is a burnt smell. The bed is made of cloth that looks like it hasn't been cleaned properly. The room smelled like cigarettes, which made me cough all night.I am very disappointed in booking a room at this hotel.
Terrible accommodation.
The beds were old and the linen stained. There was a fridge in the room but it did not work. When you opened it, it was full of mould.
Hotel staff was helpful, rooms spacious and clean, good breakfast and nice location with plenty of shops and restaurants at your door step.
Not a lot. The beds were comfortable. The linen was crisp & clean. That's about it, really.
Pathetic bed pillows. A rolled up sweater would give one more head support. Noise! This establishment claims to have sound proofing; not in our room. This was the nosiest hotel we have ever stayed at. Children running/playing in the corridor at all hours of the day and night. Constant slamming of doors. On our first night, there was no heating. However, the receptionist provided us with a small heater. No access to safety deposit box. The receptionist spoke very little English. Intermittent WiFi. I was working online, in our room, when the Internet went down. I asked when it would be fixed. I was told to "Just wait." Filthy, stained carpet. The water didn't drain away efficiently in the shower, therefore, we had ankle-deep soapy water swilling around our ankles when showering. Tea/coffee making facilities only provided in the Reception area. For two days, the urn was out of order. Guests were carrying cups of boiling hot water from the breakfast room up to their own rooms. With so many children running around and playing cards in the corridor, this is a huge safety concern. Miniscule, outdated rooms - with too much furniture within- made the space quite unpleasant to be in. We could not wait to leave.
Breakfast : price versus qlty very OK + private parking lot cars
The Elektrolux Minibar mentioned was not empty, but has disappeared (?!). Smallest bathroom I've ever seen, and the shower head needed an AntiKalk cleaning urgently...Staff was correct, but not genuinely friendly. Apparently they know their guests stay only one night, during travelling to/from Scandinavia...
Great to have 4 proper beds for the whole family in one room. Friendly staff and good location with lots of food options.
Small parking spot and many people smoking right outside the entrance in the morning.
The Room was very spacious for 4.Basic accommodation but clean.Restaurants and supermarket in the close vicinity
Although basic, there were some things that could be refurbished in the room. And the pillows were quite bad.
Very comfortable beds. Self check-in. Breakfast not included but was available and was quite good.
Car park is very small but street parking was freely available.
Convenient location, close to motorway
Dated needed a makeover
Price was fine in comparison to Hamburg prices.
A bit far away from city center (1 hour by train). The room is very run down, needs renovation
- Great location for a stop otw between Austria and Sweden- parking was on site- Excellent bathroom with bath, shower, toilet etc and it was massive!- Given the price and classification we were positively surprised- We didn’t try the breakfast
- only thing we missed was a refrigerator.
The rooms and bathrooms were up to expectations and as described.
A big group of people (20+) arrived very early in the morning. Upon checkout, I was told they had booked the hotel with check-in later that day. Staff let them camp in hallways inside the hotel and outside the reception. A lot of laughs and talking without any considerations to staying guests. It was impossible the sleep.
It was ok.
Breakfast was poor and overpriced, specially for the kids that only took a small bowl of cornflakes.
Quiet and comfortable room. Good Internet connection and restaurants nearby. Easy parking right in front of the entrance.
No receptionist after 3pm. Limited TV channels.
The location was excellent for the small town where it was based, although a bit far out from Hamburg city centre. I had a very secure parking space for my motorcycle and the room had all the facilities I needed. I enjoyed the walk into the town (lots of nice places to eat) and having a petrol station at the end of the block was very convenient for my trip.
Breakfast started a bit late (8:00) for my trip & no pastry etc to take was offered.
