- The location
- The layout and the variety of venues. It boasted three restaurants, a gym, wellness, pool, bar, bowling -- all on a large campus only 4 Km from the North Sea.
- The staff was so kind and the room had hard surface wood flooring. The bed was a queen which would be King for us in the states.
Cons -
- I booked a room with a bathtub - and got a shower. The hallways smelled like animal urine. Staff under trained and overwhelmed. Basics like towels for the pool unavailable. Poor service.
- Only one of the restaurants was open. It was short-staffed. We had to reserve a spot for the gym, etc., and share with outsiders (the gym was open to the public) who were rude and unfriendly. The staff was okay, but not brilliant.
- I reserved a room with a couch but it only had 2 chairs. The lighting was very dark.

it has bike rental and close to the keukenhof, next to a beautiful flower farm.
The location
Friendly and polite staff. Very clean, quiet and comfortableGood fitness facilities, restaurant and healthy breakfast and plenty of free parking lots
Speed of free wifi and wellness zone being temporarly shut
Very comfortable, clean, well organized hotel with many facilities, very nice for families
Breakfast is too expensive
A lot parking , good restaurant, good staff
Not close to Beach , some room does not have air conditions,
Location
The room was old, and the ventilation system had been covered with duct tape, so there was no cooling on a hot 30°C day. The only source of fresh air was an openable window. So no airco available. Cleaning was poor — spiderwebs were everywhere, including in the bathroom and around the lights. The reception staff were not very friendly. We had paid everything in advance, including taxes at check-in, yet at check-out there were still long queues and no drop-off box available.
The food was okay
The place has no ac and it was very hot and I had to open windows to sleep. The location of the place is in middle of nowhere. So if you don't go with your car, you will have hard time exploring place nearby. The cleaning was not very good.Restaurant is okay, but it is hard to find the reservation. Amd since there are no other options nearby. All one can do is accept it.
Lovely breakfast lots of variety and very good quality
We asked for a double bed but got 2 singles we asked again and was told it would be done the next day but it remained singles for our stay
The children’s facilities were genuinely excellent - there was even a late-night bouncy castle, which was a big hit. The on-site restaurant was reasonably priced, and we enjoyed sitting on the sunny terrace. There was plenty of free parking, and the setting felt peaceful and rustic, surrounded by tulip fields. The pool, spa, and gym were all pleasant, and the grounds were very dog-friendly, which made things much easier for us.
Unfortunately, the staff seemed untrained and uninterested. Orders were mixed up, and they were unwilling to help especially when their shift was ending. The room wasn’t properly cleaned when we arrived - there were visible stains on the windowsill and sheets, and despite asking for a deep clean, housekeeping didn’t change the bedding for the entire duration of our stay (4 days), didn’t vacuum, or clean the bathroom properly. Big balls of dust and hair from previous guests kept coming out from under the bed, clearly showing it hadn’t been vacuumed in a while - and even after we specifically asked, it still wasn’t done. The AC in the 3000 wing wasn’t cooling the room and instead made it hotter - especially uncomfortable for our long-haired dog. The bathroom was outdated, and check-in was slow even though we’d submitted our details in advance.
It was nice, convenient, staff was helpful.
The WiFi was weak and spotty.
We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the Keukenhof Gardens. It is well located to get to the Keukenhof and also for walking by the tulip fields nearby. It is also ideal if you like cycling as there are plenty of cycling tracks to explore around the hotel and in the nearby area. I also liked that we could park our car right in from of the hotel in the free car park. Our bedroom was fine for us as we did not really spend much time in the room (not the purpose of our stay). The room had a nice view to the tulip fields and it was mainly quiet. The air conditioning was not switched on but we opened the window and had a very cool breeze coming in and that was OK. There is a TV in the room with mainly Dutch channels but also News in other languages. The hotel has good facilities for eating on site and the bedrooms are located in various blocks (we were allocated to block 6000). The hotel also caters for corporate events but those guests seem to use separate facilities.
We booked the room for three nights including breakfast. On our last night we were disturbed by loud noises late at night, like banging doors. Also, the breakfast, although it was generous with a good variety of fruits, breads, cheeses, pastries, etc, I felt the team was a bit let down by an over zealous male baker who objected to me trying to take slices off a new loaf and insisted I take the end bit of a loaf that had been left over by other guests. I guess he was having a bad day!
Swimming pool.
Cleanless room. Lots of dust on the floor, stayed for two nights but seems they never vacuum or mop the floor. The mattress was hard, and the bed are small for double bed. Breakfast is very limited. Empty plates for the foods, like Sausages, fried eggs...but the second day was a bit better. The cup for the coffee machine was all dirty....
Lovely location - our room overlooked the tulip fields
almost industrial in its size and impersonal service - check-in was unfriendly and surprising - a long queue - not the friendly welcome we expect from hotel service .
It's a very good accommodation when traveling with a dog. We received a very warm welcome for us and our dog. They also have a separate breakfast area where you can take your dog with you ?. Very lovely idea.
Breakfast was good. There was a good choice and it was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable, we had a superior room that was very spacious. The pool was an added bonus - great fun for the kids. Would happily stay again. The late check-out also meant we weren't in a rush which was so nice.
The rooms have central aircon and the room was very hot overnight, it wasn't great that we couldn't alter this. There is also an over powering strong perfume smell when you walk into the lobby which I found quite off-putting.
Breakfast and confort bed
too many people at breakfast
- Staff very helpful and kind always willing to do more , - Food, Facilities, arrangements for children, souvenir shop, swimming facilities, - close proximity to beach as well as tulip gardens.- overall cleanliness was good
-Room superior delux was not exact as seen in picture during booking.-no good window views/no balconies-ventilation/a.c. not functioning properly-only one direction emergency exit, which can be quite far for the opposite corner rooms-tv with not modern facilities and channels as expected
