Hotel Val Convention

We had a lovely stay while walking the Portuguese Camino. The staff was excellent. I needed ice for my foot and she was very accommodating. When we arrived two workers were bus cleaning the lobby area. The Hotel was spotless.

This was a very nice and very clean hotel room. It was right downtown and very close to restaurants and shops. It was also right across the street from a laundry mat.The front desk host was very pleasant and helpful. The hotel offered breakfast for an additional 5 Euros, which was very reasonable for all the food provided.We really enjoyed our stay and recommend to other travelers. It is also pretty close to the Camino trail.

Nothing. It had everything we needed.

Location was great with nearby mall, supermarket, and cafes. The shower was the best on my Camino journey - hot and good water pressure. Nice breakfast too.

I had a place to sleep

The room was so small, I had no space on the ground to open my suitcase I think there was bedbugs, as I had a lot of insect bites the next morning when I woke up. I did not have a sea view as stated

The location is great.

It was the worst breakfast I have ever had, without much variety, the coffee from the machine is very bad, the breads needed to be heated to be a little better. I expected a variety from a breakfast in Spain where the cuisine is extraordinary. And also the room we were in had an unpleasant smell, I don't know if it was because it had been closed for some time but it really was a bad surprise.

Nice hotel. Good location. Wonderful staff- especially Romina at the front desk. She was very helpful and gracious.

Room was very clean.

We wanted to have breakfast next morning but receptionist has some problem with that. Very,very noisy hotel from the main road and also that night was there some wedding and guests were like animals during tge night. We couldn't sleep. In the morning the staff started to clean rooms so again we couldn't sleep. After call with another recepionist (she was kind) they stopped. Breakfast - no milk, old bread (after a while they gave a fresh one), toilet with an open door right next to the food. Glasses and bowls dirty.

The reception was pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable. The girl at reception helped us to book a taxi for the next morning which was right on time. Overall a good experience.

No one at the reception at night. The beds were only available as a queen, not as twins as we had requested.

Neat as a pin. Great hot shower. Bed where perfect. Centre of town. Café & Bistro on property is incredible. Food is great. Breakfast. Toasted tamato avo and baked egg was incredible.

Very comfortable rooms, large well equipped bathroom. Great views of Vigo, the harbor and mountain range from our room. Paying a little extra for a sea view is totally worth it.
