Pros +
- The Bergbauer is a lovely family-run hotel; it is probably the closest hotel to the train station in Neuburg. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was ample including eggs cooked to order. The hotel is about a 12 minute walk from the station and equally distant to the center of town and the Danube. There is a very good Greek restaurant between the hotel and station and several other good ones in the Old Town.
- Beautiful rooms, beautiful buildings. Staff was amazing. Breakfast was delicious. No complaints.
- Such a lovely hotel. Beautiful rooms. Excellent breakfast with freshly cooked eggs. A real family place.
Cons -
- The room in the guest house was a little small and there is no elevator.
- Just the price, a little bit expensive for a single traveler.
- There was no bath towel when I got into the bathroom.

Nice family-run hotel close to Neuburg downtown. Modern and spacious rooms. Great local beer at the reception/lobby. Very good and various breakfast included. If it hadn't been a bit expensive for a single room, everything would have been perfect.
Just the price, a little bit expensive for a single traveler.
Very nice family-run hotel. Friendly staff. Relaxed and cosy atmosphere. Good breakfast.
I had a very nice stay at the Bergbauer. Although it is an old building, it has been renewed, and is quite modern on the inside. Comfortable room, with all that is needed for such a stay.Location in the heart of town and less than 10-minute walk from the train station.Staff is very friendly. Breakfast was great, with a variety of good quality food.
Clean close to train station and square
Location was great, parking was right across the street.
There was no bath towel when I got into the bathroom.
Helpful staff. That's always a big plus. Really charming bedroom - traditional feel which is quite rare these days. And very well equipped. Enjoyable breakfast. Highly recommended.
I liked everything so nothing to dislike.
For me it's not my first time and it won't be my last time.I like the owners, very friendly and helpfull.Place to park in front of the Hotel.Very nice breakfast.
Sorry to say but it was too hot in the room. Of course it was also hot outside. But times are changing so also hotels needs to follow in this change....
The staff was very friendly and the owners were always around.
Everything was great. If you needed anything, it was never any trouble for anyone to accommodate you.
Very satisfied! Choices for breakfast excellent. Employees outstanding.
In room: Hooks on wall/door in bathroom to hold clothes. Drawers in desk/bed tables.
Passable
The bed cover was too thick for summer. The pillow was too fluffy and no other pillows offered. All together making it difficult to sleep properly
A very basic hotel but absolutely clean with a delightful and helpful staff.
Maybe a bit overpriced.
