Room and view were exceptional, we had the suite with the jacuzzi

No wifi in the room, it didn’t work. You can get 1 wifi bar up the stairs. So the tv didn’t work either, we couldn’t watch any streaming service. This wouldn’t have been as much of a problem if there was at least cell service, but the phone was in SOS mode the entire time while we were in the room

Breakfast was good and the location was beautiful.

There was loud music next door on my first night.

Such a beautiful location, our room was absolutely stunning and comfortable. It was beautiful to wake up to such a pretty view each morning

The only thing I would ask is that coffee shouldBe provided in the rooms. There were drink making facilities but only teas available. Other than that everything was perfect!

The location and the grounds were incredible. The breakfast was very good. Lots of options.

The room smelled awful, like a dead mouse or raw sewage. The AC did not work. You’ll need to be ready to walk a lot of stairs, there’s no elevator so if you need that you’d have to ask for a low floor. Also parking is a big challenge. We did not have any and were lucky to find parking outside the grounds on a main road.

Amazing views of Rome and Castel Gandolfo from the patio area. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was glorious.

We did not have a kitchen area as promoted in our room. There was a kitchen area, but it only had a fridge, no microwave or plates, or any equipment. We wanted to at least be able to make ourselves some coffee or tea in our room.

This place is gorgeous in every way - beautiful rooms, view, terraces.The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We ate at the restaurant both nights that we were there, and most of our food was delicious (the Roman pasta dishes were very oversalted, but everything else was great.) The breakfast in the morning was amazing and beautiful.It was an easy drive down to Lake Albano to swim and spend the day at the beach.I loved being here.

There was no lock on the bathroom door.It seems excessive to charge 20 euros a night for parking (a fact which I did not realize until we were checking out, that had not been disclosed when I was told I could park in their lot or on the street out front).It is also unclear from the description online that in order to use the hot tubs, you have to pay a fee of 25 euros per person per hour.

The place was spotless and beautiful. Alessandro took care of us for hotel restaurant dinner and it was superb, from service to the food. Breakfast was delicious (we asked for and had omelettes). Luisa was kind and helped us in upgrading our room (initial one not acceptable)

The absurd amount of steps was an issue for us as my husband, who was recovering from 3 herniated discs, had to carry his bag (I carried mine), as there was no one available to help us. This would be a non-starter for older people, something that is not highlighted in the advertisement or in the positive reviews.

Beautiful location

The mansarda was too low, something probably to communicate, my husband and I are average tall and we constantly hit the ceiling with our heads.The other thing definitely to improve is breakfast and the service on site during breakfast. No choice of herbal infuse, I don't drink coffee nor tea..and lactose free alternatives were not provided. I understand that the price is very honest but at a certain point I'd rather pay something more and to have more options, or I'd rather have just a coffee and teapot in the room.

Fridge not working

Beautiful location with a gorgeous view. Great breakfast and lovely room.

Hot tub is 20€ per person per hour and needs to be prebooked. No aperitivi on arrival.

The hotel has a great view and lots of places to sit outside in summer. The rooms are designed very nicely and the larger ones are really spacious, good for spending several days. Absolute highlight of course are the hot tubs, especially for sunset. Breakfast and dinner were well done and delicious, staff was very nice and helpful.

Not the fault of the hotel - but the walk down to town or to the hike around the lake is a bit tricky, it goes along a busy road for about 20 min. Taxi to the station is quite expensive with 20 EUR.

Difficult review because the dining experience was great! The maître of the restaurant was polite, attentive and well mannered. The food was very high quality and the presentation great. I feel like this place was a restaurant in the first place that then added rooms…

The room we had was in the garage/basement in front of the parking lot, facing the main road. Thankfully it wasn’t humid but when we arrived no one had turned on the heating either. It was noisy and night. The receptionist who “greeted” us, a woman, was so rude and aggressive. We were shouted at through the intercom and asked if we had reserved a spot for the car inside while in the middle of the street at the gate. For her getting inside safely to unload bags, a 3 year old, and a pregnant woman was inconvenient because we had not reserved the car park. Staff training needed.

The room is so cosy and the location and landscape are excepcional. The restaurant was also fabulous. I would repeat with no doubt.

The room was nice and clean. There was a fridge. The view on the lake is very beautiful.

There was a stove that didn't work. No fork or knifes, no bottle opener, no spoons or plates. No minibar. Location: we thought we can go to Castel de Gandolfo from there but it is possible to get there only by car. Taxi is almost impossible to get. A few people from staff understand english fully. Drinking water is 2 eur a 0.5 bottle. Coffee is only for stuff.

nice breakfast, extraordinary view, quite and good place to park the car

We came directly from the airport very late, and manage to come only 5 minutes before 23:00 were the hotel staff is leaving the hotel. They were very kind and let us instructions how to enter after closing hour, but fortunately we wouldn't need to use those instructions in the middle of the nightin the room there is a small kitchen...but unfortunately it was not equipped with anything like coffee or tee to be used

The suite was lovely, the staff excellent and the view from the terrace was amazing

The bathroom needed to be refurbished which I understand they plan to do over the next two months

No air conditioning. It was hot, and you can’t sleep in a room without air conditioning. The shower’s temperature kept bouncing from cold to hot, and the furniture in the room was old.

The room is big and clean, we were in the attic but it wasn't bad for us. In the reviews they wrote that the staff was unpleasant, we thought they were fine, even that there was a misunderstanding about the order, everything was handled pleasantly

There was no kettle in the room and it is not possible to make coffeeIn the pictures there is a jacuzzi on the site but it was closed

Stunning view, wonderful room, great location. Loved this hotel so much that i want to go again. Kids loved morning hot tub.

Disappointing

Really disappointed with our stay here. We stayed for 1 night, the final night of our honeymoon (which I stated on our notes). We booked a Suite and were hoping for a luxurious and relaxing final night of our holiday. We were not even greeted with a congratulations. Parking is very expensive. The extra bed for our child was a sofa bed in the living room, which was fine but there were no curtains and huge windows so he woke up very early with the light. We had a drink and a plate of food at the restaurant which we found almost inedible salty. We were woken up by loud people in the restaurant bar at night. On checkout I told the staff that we were kept up by people in the bar and had a terrible nights sleep with our small child. They just shrugged and said sorry. This was a missed opportunity for some customer service. We paid in full and left very disappointed. I would not recommend and will not return. The view is nice.
