Hotel Surf Mar

The pool was very nice and very clean. the staff were very relaxed after we checked out, allowed us to use the pool and parking after we checked out which was very nice to have that level of flexibility.very close to the beach

the room I was in was quiet small for 4 people. I'm not sure how they managed to get 4 beds into such a small place, I also want to say the there was considerable damage from the humidity on some of the door frames and walls in our particular unit. (347) (it didn't smell like mold though.)

Fantastic location, beautiful sea view, very friendly staff, food is nice too .The room is clean , and there is nothing to complain about it .highly recommend

Hotel is old. It’s possible to see. In the corridors possible to see that it’s necessary to make repairs. Air from air conditioning goes exactly on the bed even if you move the direction. We get cold. Some maids don’t speak English. Sometimes it’s difficult to connect with them

The Staff was great , Zahira and Joel at the front desk where extremely nice. The breakfast was delicious and abundant . Everyone at the hotel was really nice. Joel recomended so many great places to visit . This is my second stay at the hotel and Zahira recognized me immediately when I showed up to check in !

Room fornitures are very old and broken, revamping is absolutely mandatoryDrops of water from the ceiling of the restaurant. Very big leakages of condensation from air conditioning system.

The stuff was very kind, the location is great, next to a wonderful ⛱️ beaches.

The facilities and rooms are very poor, and there is no hot water for coffee or a refrigerator in the room. The price is high for such simplicity.

In front of the beach

Very old facilities. Overpriced for what it offers. Not what we expected from the pictures. It looked stuck in the 80’s. Even the toilet paper was a cheap one. Most of the staff was very nice and attentive though.

Food is very bad ? . Bread is hard and old, food is reheat it too many times. Hotel is very noisy!

The air con was aweful on both rooms me and my friends stayed in, I told the front desk and heard nothing back as a fix. The key cards on the doors were bad, sometimes had to spend 5 minutes trying to get through the door.

Phone service to reception and housekeeping doesn't work, no water in rooms

Welcome security reception gentlemen on late arrival, so wonderful with child. Spotless and well run if a little full off seniors but it was Spring break special. Beds, pillows, showers excellent. Location top class near good restaurants and beach plus fab cliff walk. Weather dull but surf beautiful site. Buffet breakfast ok standard for price, good choice. Easy to book taxi or get info from staff whom all were pleasant and professional. Thank you.

Needs spruce up outside activities like crazy golf area.

There’s a huge security issue at this hotel. They will give replacement room key cards to anyone who asks for one without any checks, not even a name. The property is no where near a 4 star. No kettle or drinks, very thin towels, repetitive food, grounds not kept nicely.The rooms are very basic, very dated and worn out. You couldn’t have a bath due to the filler in the bath and around the plug holes. The showers do not stay up. In one room a wall lamp was hanging off the wall.However, they were clean. But didn’t look it due to how worn they were. The breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Dinner was ok, but repetitive. Lots of Spanish food, which we enjoyed, but for the picky eaters you’d struggle. No typical ‘kids corner’ pizza/chicken nuggets etc. Although it was tasty, I couldn’t do a week of it. Had lunch one day, was pretty much the same as dinner.Kids joined in a couple of things when we were at the hotel and although it was mostly in Spanish the staff were welcoming. It’s in a nice location across from the beach and a few cocktail bars. But if you’re wanting to go find more of a nightlife it’s a trek up and down some big hills.
