Overpriced restaurant

VIEWS FOR DAYS!! Clean and relaxing Mediterranean vibes throughout. Staff were amazing!

Nothing.. even the hike back up from the beach, I enjoyed!

The view, the staff are absolutely perfect. It’s a great place but a bit expensive to be honest for everything that it offers.

A lot of stairs to get to the beach. Very bad sound isolation in the hotel, u can hear everything at night from walking to people using the bathroom. It’s absolutely ridiculous. This was one of the main thing i disliked. It was bad at night especially.

The hotel is overall clean when it comes to the bedsheets and towels however there was some dust that can be seen.

They told us that we have one hour in the spa for free, but it was 20 ero extra.

The hotel is exceptional - so clean and well looked after. The staff couldn’t do enough to help - from the concierge to the bar and waiting staff - nothing was too much trouble. The room was refreshed and stocked every single day and the pool staff were delightful too. The breakfast was wonderful - so much variety. My husband and I also dined in the restaurant - almost every night and the food was exquisite. I would certain return and recommend to my family and friends.

The Staff at Santa Marta truly make it an amazing experience! Everyone of the team there is so kind, helpful, and there for every need! We had a wonderful stay and barely even left the property! A wonderful place for any occasion! Beautiful surroundings clean and quiet.Peaceful and beautiful! We can not wait to goBack!

The road to get out of the hotel is bumpy when you drive a nice sports car it’s not ideal

My room service dinner was poor. The mini ketchup was used and less than half filled. That’s a pretty disgusting thing to do. The seal was broken and how they thought they’d get away with that god only knows. It makes you think what else do they do in the kitchen.They also didn’t take my breakfast card left on my door. I actually thought this might happen so went down to reception that night to tell them I’d left it on my door. Unbelievably it was still on the door in the morning. All a bit Fawlty Towers. I might stay again if only for the beach. The staff definitely need training better.

It is quite remote a taxi to nearby Blanes or Lloret was about 15 Euro each way but if you wanted to stay in sight the were a few bars / resteraunt in walking distance ( 5 mins or less walk)

Exceptional staff, exceptional views. Clara at reception is just awesome.

Sea views of some rooms are quite blocked by trees. We initially got such a room however hotel receptionist Clara was kind enough to change the room.

Beautiful views and delicious breakfast!

Make sure you are booking to stay in the main hotel. There is a separate garden unit which is 3* at best. We didn’t find this clear upon booking and were thus very disappointed on arrival. All 5* touches are missing.

Location, room and staff were very good, albeit at times they could do with more.

No communication, with regards to evening activities, hire of equipment, or anything not obvious - you only found by acute observation and adults only area which was as additional costs for the day was hired to parents with children, very poor choice for meals and menu never changed. Breakfast a bit hit and miss - one day omelette station the next nobody. - overall disappointing.

The facilities were excellent.We did like the bar on the veranda of the hotel.

Lots of little things stop this being a true 5 star and did detract from our experience eg drinks ordered not showing up. Perhaps understaffed particularly in service at bar near the beach. The main courses in the restaurant by the beach are not special.

Fantastic location. Rooms need upgrading and very noisy from other rooms.

Noise from other rooms, staff generally should be more friendly. At breakfast no one cleans your plates after finishing.

The location was amazing with incredible sea views. The room was comfortable and air conditioned. Staff were very friendly, and food was in the restaurant was nice. We also liked the private pool area.

If you don’t come by car it’s not so easy to access. Ideally there would be a shuttle bus to the local town or other beaches.

Fantastic location, rooms not up to 5 stars standards.

Staff need customer care training and waiters need to clean the plates at breakfast , at 5 stars is expected.no question at reception when we checked out if we have enjoyed our stay etcChamber maids need to be trained on what cleaning standards are and top up with shower gels etc every day.

The room is beautifully clean and comfortable, the setting is incredible, incomparable views and so secluded. The location makes this hotel. Breakfast is brilliant, so much choice and changes daily, no need for lunch as you can really fill up!

The pool area was being renovated during my stay (June ‘24) and wasn’t ready, so it felt like a bit of a building site. There were no day beds. It’s very expensive to eat here and other than a little cafe on the further away beach which is sometimes open, you’re limited to eating at the hotel due to the secluded location.
