Suites del Mar Fenals Apartments

As we went there outside the party/summer season, it was very calm and comfortable, as we wanted! The room was spacious and super comfortable, and the bathroom was a dream (jacuzzi, shower, 2 separate sinks!). There was a balcony with a sea view where we took our breakfast every day, simply amazing! The location is near the city center and the beach. The price deal was very attractive. We really had a good time for relaxing.

The appartement was clean but there were stains everywhere. The floor is mostly carpet which shows stains and unfortunately it doesn't give a clean impression. There were not sponges or cleaning products in the kitchen if we wanted to do the dishes, so we had to buy it. There was also limited cookware, no coffee for the machine, no kettle, no bowls for the breakfast.

Mold everywhere. Pool, Room, bathroom.

Everything dirty. No soap, no shampoo.Food around the floor kitchen.

Good location, rooms are big and luxurious, the beach is just crossing the street.

The carpets all over the hotel were so dirty with very visible stains. They need to be changed ASAP! I was afraid for my children to catch dangerous bacteria while walking there. I had a very unsafe feeling in this ghost hotel. Sorry but this is not a 4star hotel at all. The pool was closed which of course was not mentioned. Looks like someone bought part of Alva Park and just stopped taking care of this place. During my stay I often felt sad that this was once a really nice hotel but now it’s hardly surviving. There is a nice potential but not used unfortunately.

Thee bathroom and balcony were lovely. Comfy beds and clean bed linen and towels.

Bedroom carpet badly stained. Booked because it had a kitchenette and swimming pool. The kitchen had no cooking facilities even though there were saucepans, plates etc. Coffee maker but no plug attached. I messaged through the what's app for a kettle, they didn't even reply so couldn't make tea or coffee throughout our stay. The pool was also closed so couldn't use that. When the power went out over Spain, we were not given any support when I phoned concerned about darkness. no candles or torches. it's a shame because this apartment could be excellent with just a few changes.

I liked nothing The worse ever

Stylish design of rooms with soft fluffy carpet, perfect mattress and pillows. Comfortable furnished terrace with sea view and sunny morning side for sunbathing even in March. Equipped kitchen with coffee machine with the possibility of using natural ground coffee. Well organized lighting with the possibility of quick centralized control. Attentive staff with convenient communication via messenger

No drinking water inside. Absence of some basic things like soap dispensers.

The rooms are big and luxurious.The beach is just crossing the street.

We stayed in January, definitely not the main season. It was cold, and the bed did not have a cover, just bedsheets, so at night, it was cold.The hotel is manly with carpets and there are full of stains.Maybe because it was January, there was no front desk at night, only a whatsapp number to get support, so we could not get covers for our night. The soap at the bad sink and the shower were fully empty

Service was very poor, carpet wasn’t clean. Blanket was not sufficient, no shower gel available. Kitchen has very limited options.

Location is very nice, Hotel is 50 meters from Beach. Hotel is modern, rooms are big and balcony view is good.Supermarket and restaurants are very near.

Kitchen is not well equipped and also seems like hotel does not proper amenities this season.When we ask for blankets and kitchen utensils, knife for kitchen they said they are running on shortage.

While the room itself was luxurious and well-appointed, the experience was ruined by a series of problems.

From the start, we were left waiting outside for the key because there was no one at the reception. The staff were disorganized and unresponsive, making it clear that no one was in charge.The worst issue was the ant infestation. Ants were everywhere—on the balcony, in the bathroom, and even in the bed. Returning from a two-day trip to find the bed infested was horrifying. I woke up covered in bites, and despite reporting this, the staff only changed the sheets and ignored the underlying problem. The ants even got into our luggage, forcing us to clean out every item ourselves.Other issues included a broken coffee machine, malfunctioning curtains, filthy carpets, and frequent electricity outages. The place and the view are really wonderful, but it’s clear that more care and attention are needed to maintain the property and improve the guest experience.

It’s very nice property with comfortable little apartments. I was impressed with design and luxurious decoration. We were little scared of negative feedbacks but it is really good place for those who love luxury and comfort. Very comfortable bed, huge balcony, nice tv, swimming pool, friendly stuff, extras like walk-in wardrobe and office. I enjoyed every minute.

Maybe those white carpets should be changed. I understand it is nightmare to clean. It was designer mistake. Also property should offer hairdryers.

This hotel before it closed for Covid was a sought after hotel, however since Smartr has purchased in 2024 the hotel looks a little tired, the rooms are marvellous, we had suite two large beds, 65 inch tv, small kitchen, massive bathroom with jacuzzi. Really close to beach as well which was bonus

Cleanliness, the bed sheets where fine and bathroom was great but carpets sad and it just has a tired look, I understand that it wont go back to past glorious (Past glories were £500 a night though) but management should try a little harder to keep clean and tidy

You can tell this will be a really nice hotel when all the refurbishments have been done. You do have glasses in the room but no cutlery, plates or pans to cook anything on the hob.The carpets need updating, could have also been cleaner throughout the whole suite.At the minute the hotel feels a bit lifeless, nothing in reception just a desk. Hoping within time this will be a really nice hotel.
