    Pros +

    • Good place to stay with nice areas outside the rooms. In the centre of the city, close to restaurants and shops. Parking available outside.
    • We stayed at a duplex room which were really nice, large enough, well cleaned and decorated. I loved their coffe. Access to the room was also nice with virtual keys from my mobile phone. prices were fair and staff were really nice. thank you Team De Duifé
    • Location, close to the center of the village. Nice service, very helpful in satisfying guests. The hotel also offers breakfast in a nice and pleasant restaurant ( not incl. in the room price)

    Cons -

    • Narrow beds. European twins are small. The shower cabin was also very small. The heating in my room didn't work. It was late September. They tried to fix it, but without success. Instead I get another room in a apartment on the side of the hotel with separate entrance. Nice a King-size bed ! But...one problem was unpleasant. Smell of sewage in the bathroom. Looks like the plumber hadn't installed P-traps in the drain. The big downside was that, upon early morning checkout.( If anyone has to ) The hotel was locked. The apartment key didn't work for the hotel door, so I couldn't leave the key at the front desk. No staff were there either. Office desk hours starting at 9.30am..If someone had been there from 8.00am....it would have been better.
    • No secure area for bicycles. Our room 103 had some nice from parking lot.
    • I'm learning about the online checkin and digital keys, but still not 100% comfortable with arriving when no hotel staff is available. For overseas visitors, if they have no idea that internet on-site ( outside the door) is available for free, then it could lead to some drama if they don't have a cell phone with data for Europe ( I'm Canadian and my data is not world-wide).

Good location, good breakfast but little pricey.

No secure area for bicycles. Our room 103 had some nice from parking lot.

Good staff and clean room. Free parking of you can find any. Meant parking far away.

Hard to find parking nearby. Room is tiny, can’t even open suitcases on the door or on the provided suitcase stand. No A/C or fans to move air. Only windows open to get cool air. Then noises came in much of the night. Overpriced!

great bed; pleasant room; great receptionist. Close to restos and shops and easy access to buses.

all kinds of emails flying back and forth about registration and checkin and digital keys, etc. Not my thing. Extra step for on-line payment requirement which leaves no room for paying cash if so desired.

    Location, matrasses and clean.

room wss too small and no minibar

Location great. Good restaurants. Charming town, Walking distance through charming town to the Keukenhof (tulip) park.

Front desk person was terse in her tone. Of course, it is their busiest time of year, most likely.

    6DIANEPosted on: 4-30-2025

Close to Keukenhof gardens and village center where there were several good restaurants.

Sleeping comfort, 2nd floor room with difficult stairs and noise from other rooms. Only full breakfast is available from their kitchen.

    8Dagmar1971Posted on: 4-29-2025

The location is very good when someone wants to visit Keukenhof. The place is quiet, a few steps from the centre. The facilities were simple but clean.

The system of digital keys to enter the building is a little bit confusing for foreigners. The kitchen equipment was really very simple, you should rent additional pots etc.

    Convenience of location. Cleanliness. Service.

    8HelenPosted on: 4-24-2025

They went out of their way to find us in a restaurant to return a dropped key. Very efficient automated checking in system.

Beds were rather soft for my liking and shower smaller than the one in my touring caravan!

    10ElhamPosted on: 4-24-2025

It was really clean and is very good located. Just 10 minutes away from Keukenhof.

    7MariaPosted on: 4-24-2025

    Location. Friendly staff.

Very tiny dark room with small top window in basement. Awkward small beds with matrassses that slide off. Felt like we slept in a cupboard. Very expensive for what you get.

    9YuliiaPosted on: 4-23-2025

This hotel has good location. Aldi is nearby. There are lots of cafes not far from the hotel. The hotel is 15 minutes walk to the park. The room was clean. There were good blanket, tea and coffee in the room. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is not perfect but ok. You won't go hungry. You can leave your luggage for free when you check out.

Unfortunately, during the checking in, we had to wait 20 minutes because they hadn't cleaned the room yet. The shower cabin in our room was very, very small. But these are small minuses because the hotel itself is very good!

    7TrungPosted on: 4-20-2025

    the location is good

the room is small, the bathroom is super small, the room is next to the parking place so it's noisy, the AI assistant was not helpful, the checkout time is 11 and there was no attendance early so you can't check out early and send your bags to storage

The hotel is located very near the market and the city center. Everything was in easy walking distance, including Keukenhof Gardens. There was also a bus stop nearby that could take you to the airport or the train to Amsterdam. The breakfast selection included 4 kinds of juice, scrambled eggs, bacon, poffertjes (tiny puffy pancakes), fruit, and several types of bread and cereal. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. We really enjoyed the town of Lisse. The tulip parade was excellent fun. The parade passed by the road right next to the hotel, so there was no need to travel far to see it.

I was confused when choosing the rooms on the website for our large party. It turned out that the duplex room was large and had a large bottom floor with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, couch, and table, with a queen-size bed upstairs. The triple rooms were small but cozy, with a double bed and a single bed but no microwave or refrigerator. Both types of room were fine, though, depending on one's needs. The reception desk is only staffed between 9:30 AM and 7 PM.
