Hotel Filderland - Stuttgart Messe Airport

We stayed at this hotel in Filderland while traveling from Sri Lanka to participate in CMT 2026, and our experience was truly wonderful.The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. The rooms were tidy and relaxing, which was perfect after long days at the exhibition.One of the highlights was the morning buffet. It was delicious, fresh, and offered a good variety, giving us a great start to the day.The location is excellent. Public transport is extremely convenient; the bus stop and train station are just a short walk away, making it very easy to travel to the exhibition center and around the city.What made our stay really special was the staff. They were exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful. They patiently helped us with directions, transportation, and any questions we had.

Nice room, quiet as it faced the garden, nice bath room, didn't hear anything from neighboring rooms, late self-check-in at the machine was easy.

beds sheets can be more comfortabe, and beds as well. The self checkin is not perfect. My payment was not recorded therefore I had to call the "emergency" which should be improved. Entrance door way too hard to open

Arrived very late due to a flight and just stayed one night. Booked as it was the best value place in the area. Very quick and easy to get to from the airport, clean and good value for the price, especially compared to nearby hotels. Self check-in was super convenient and straightforward.

They should atleast have a ventilator in the room during summer. The streets are really noisy and openning the windows to have some fresh air circulating was making it worse. So in the end you either dont sleep good becuase of the noise or the heat.

The automatic check-in did not work, it was not an issue when we arrived, but if we would have arrived later it might have been.

Breakfast was ok and one turkish lady very nice.

I arrived around 06:00 pm and none was there anymore. The machine that made the check-in and gave out the key was broken, so I did not get my key. Calling the support was not so easy and someone arrived after 15 min. The room had a desk without a proper chair. There was another chair, very old and in a very bad shape. The windows did not close well, so I could hear all the noise from the main street at night.

Communication with the staff was quite challenging, as they did not respond to my messages on the booking platform or to my emails—only phone calls seemed to work. Several issues arose after check-in, including a mix-up with names and a lack of information regarding parking. Additionally, one of my colleagues had trouble using the self check-in machine and nearly couldn’t access her room, if not for a staff member who happened to be passing by. Not a great experience at all.

The hotel is clean and at a convenient location if you travel short from the airport or to visit the Messe (Expo). Wifi is fast enough.

I didn't expect much but the staff could have been more friendly. The self-checkin automat wasn't functioning to print out the keys the night I came and the support didn't reply. I had a quest to find the key with my name on it left on the reception desk. Yet after 15-20 minutes of unsuccessful tries to reach out to their support by the number written on the non-fuctioning automat. Along with my key there were a few more for those guests who might have not been so lucky to solve the night-time riddles. Why not drop us a message where to find it and make some apologise? ??‍♂️

Good breakfast and friendly staff while we were in the hotel! Rooms were cleaned quickly and thoroughly - the towels are always changed, even if you indicate you want to keep them.

We tried to contact them via phone several times and the week before our stay they were not reachable at all, even in the official reception hours. Furthermore, I requested an early checkin because of my own wedding nearby and they couldn't guarantee it till the day before which was too spontaneous for me (I then booked the night before also, just to see, that there were nearly no guests at all at that day...)

I booked this for my mom like many times before, when she is in town. This time she had no hot water during one of her showers. She has said for a while the quality there dropped. But in my opnionen this is not acceptable.When she complained about it, the staff told her that they are aware that the water heater is not working at times. They have not been able to find somebody to fix it so far. This is not acceptable and should be communicated before the stay.
