Hotel Peklo

Very friendly staff and homely feel about the hotel. Beautiful room and lovely breakfast and dinner.

The Shower was very unusual ? No shower curtains ? and the shower nozzle was on the wrong side for a tall person

Fun location between two lovely towns. Staff helpful, friendly and English speaking.

Dust and trash under furniture. Carpeting worn and stained. Loose door trim and broken soap dispenser.

Great service from staff members, fantastic breakfast and delicious food. great location and very welcoming.

Large room, comfy bed, large tv with nflix etc.Fairly good food in restaurant for dinner.Friendly staff.Quiet.Underground parking.Large bathtube.

This hotel is just amazing, everyone was so nice, I loved having my morning coffee at the hotel lobby, what a perfect start of the day. it's 1minute walk from the Danube river and just across the bridge to Hungary. What a perfect location! I was curious about the hotel name and fun fact it means the Hell, so if you want to have a good story to tell to your friends it's a must visit haha!

The hotel is new and with modern equipment.Restaurant is amazing and offers a variety of local foods which are delicious.Hotel seems to be making a lot of efforts to be/stay eco friendly which is nice to see

We have not tried the breakfast as we had to leave early in the morning and breakfast oy starts at 8am during the weekend which is a shame.On check in we were given room in the ground floor and I asked if it was possible to have a room in any upper floor. We were told promptly that this was not possible as the rooms were fully booked.During our short stay we have not met any other guests in the hotel except for us so I strongly doubt the hotel was full. There were hardly any cars in the parking place. Even for the dinner in hotel restaurant we were the only guests for the whole evening (we spent three hours there).I found this a bit unprofessional from reception staff, especially the abrupt answer that change of room was not the option.

Shower was moldy around the edges. Shower drain was clogged with hair. Shower soap container was empty.

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. They had an underground garage to store our bikes which felt very safe.

The rooms were small, but not the end of the world

I loved my stay at the Hotel Peklo. Did not know what to expect from an establishment with a picture of Gerard Depardieu on the website and a name that translates to hell. Clean facilities. Unbelievably friendly staff. Excellent food. Loved running on the Danube each morning.

it was not bad food wise

the staff were rude specially the owner himself I can’t believe the way he talks to the customers we actually left because of it as this is not acceptable also they did not refund us even though it was their fault.

The location was perfect for cyclists and easy to reach from the radweg.The rooms were were very basic and despite the wonderful location of the hotel we had no view of the river.However, the breakfast was superb and the real bonus for us was the local knowledge of the manager in the restaurant who advised us very wisely to take the Slovakian bike route to Ezstergom.

The bedrooms were very basic, some electrical points not working…and generally not worth the fee when compared to other hotels on the radweg. It needs a revamp?

Breakfast was nice. Hotel was quiet.

Shower in Room 102 is poor. It keeps moving of it's hinge so whole bathroom gets soaked. This happened every time had a shower.

quite a number of things: no room service; open windows in room/toilet without mosquito net; dragging heavy bags without one blink from staff to offer help.

it s old aged and old styled, definitely not a 4 stars hotel and definitely a bit overpriced.The wellness area was not available at 6 pm because I needed to ask for it in the morning if I wanted to use it in the late afternoon.

Very close to the highway in Hungary.The restaurant has an impressive selection of children toys that makes life easier.The staff was very nice. Order at dinner time were done very fast and the food was delicious. Breakfast was very good and rich.

Quite expensive and old(furniture, amenities like A/C, TV, etc).The rooms in the attic are not so comfy for tall people. Heart my head a couple of times.

Very friendly staff. I will gladly come back anytime.
