The Y Hotel

The location of this boutique hotel is within walking distance of Kifissia. The staff is always accommodating and professional. This is the 4th year in a row we have stayed at this hotel before we move on to our final destination in Greece. Breakfast is amazing. We travel with a pet and this hotel is very accommodating. If you have a car, on street parking might be challenging.

Very nice hotel in a nice neighbourhood. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent.

There was no proper sound insulation. I could hear the next room as in my room.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. You can’t beat the location although parking is tough. Hotel was sparkling clean and beautifully done.

The renovations are a big improvement yet the A/C still is not perfect. It made noise and was very unstable and erratic.

The noise of the barking dog was on the back side. The breakfast had a not a great as it once was.

The whole stay was exceptional, the staff were really friendly, the breakfast buffet had variety of options and it was very safe. I really enjoyed my stay at the Y hotel

We always stay here when we visit family in Athens. We love it. It is very welcoming and spotless. It is small and classy, tastefully decorated. The small restaurant is lovely too, run by the lovely helpful and kind Monika. Reception Staff are all very welcoming and professional, in particular we must mention Melina who is an asset to the hotel. Wonderful! We will be back soon

This time it was very cold when we visited and had to ask for extra bedding. No blankets in the room. Also the bathroom whilst very nice, is very small.

Breakfast was very good, hight quality products.There is all you can desire for a breakfast, salt food and suities.Everything was perfect.The position is very good and the stuiff is amazing, very kind and helpful

The staff at the Y are exceptional and eager to make our stay great. The location suits us as it is near family in the north suburbs. great for public transport too and close to the shops of kifisia.

We like the property

The location was good, very walkable into Kifisia centre. The bed was comfortable and the balcony was a good size. The soundproofing in the room was also EXCELLENT (we had to come back early on New Year's Eve since our flight was in the morning, and we couldn't hear any noise from parties in the neighbouring hotels which was really impressive). The hotel was also generally very clean. We didn't eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food, but we had coffees and they were very good and quick to bring to the room.

The bathroom was very poorly designed, the shower door couldn't be opened at the same time as the bathroom door itself and the shower leaked, and the toilet flush was very weak to the point of non-functional.We also had a slightly odd experience with some of the staff and payment which was quite specific perhaps to the time of year. We were repeatedly asked to pay for our stay earlier than check out given year end accounting, to the point of pestering (being reminded on the 27th / 28th / 29th etc. that we had to pay by the 31st) which was a shame since they already had our card details so it felt unnecessary to keep asking us this every time we came back to the hotel. Only one staff member was doing this, the others were very helpful and pleasant.

Very polite and friendly employees, the surroundings are beautiful and the rooms warm, clean and comfortable! The breakfast is very good and so are the rest of the items on the all day menu - at least those we tried?

The location was great for staying in the Kifissia neighbourhood. The staff is absolutely amazing. Everyone was very helpful and kind.

Due to being late October the aircons no longer worked and our rooms faced the back of the hotel where there was the noise of some machinery all night so that we could not keep the windows open.

I always stay at the Y Hotel when Im in Athens. I love how cozy it is. The location is perfect. Its a 5 minute walk into Kifissia and the staff is always super friendly and helpful.

Fantastic location in the North of Athens. Kefalari turns in to Kifissia where one can find lots of great restaurants, shops & cafes etc. Very nice place to walk around. I'd like to mention how friendly and helpful the reception team were and also the lovely lady who served me the wine at the bar. Thank you!

Lighting in hotel is very low - room dark.
