Theoxenia House Hotel

The hotel is located in a beautiful, quiet, and safe neighborhood full of restaurants, yet well connected to the center of Athens. The room was very spacious and clean, especially the bathroom. We stayed for only two nights, but we left with very positive impressions.

Small, comfortable building, not many rooms. Parking garage. Huge apartment. New towels and bedlinen, good bathroom kosmetic.

Ready for update or upgrade. Everything is a bit old, squeaky, and rusty. From bathrooms to curtains. Matrases are very hard. And floors are very cheap for this kind of hotel. No kettle for water.

Room on ground floor next to reception and it was very noisy due to conversations btn guests and receptionists. No towels - needed to ask for

We had a wonderful stay! The place was perfect for a family with two kids – easy access without the need for elevators, which made handling our luggage so much easier. The location is great, very close to the city center, and we loved the balcony surrounded by trees – it added such a peaceful touch to our mornings. A special mention to the morning receptionist – he was truly a gem, incredibly kind and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

DONT STAY HERE!

The guy at the front desk was very rude. We booked rooms with a balcony and were placed inside the garden, the "balcony" was a joke. You can't even stand on your balcony and look outside. We also didn't have access to the pool, which, when booking it said we would, and we paid extra. False advertising spa, indoor and outdoor pools, they are NOT in the same hotel, you have to walk to a different hotel for access. The guy at the front said he would show us how to get there, and when we were ready, he was nowhere to be found. I had to google search the directions. Ontop of that, after walking to the other hotel, we weren't even able to use the pool at our own will. We had to make appointments to use the hot tub and pool, which was ridiculous, being it was Easter break. The staff was not understanding or helpful. They just kept telling us to pay pay pay !

Value for money

Small details could make it perfect e.g. tags at the breakfast buffet so you don't have to lift the lids on everything to see what is underneath, the balcony door needs fixing, the toilet brush was broken. Nothing important but small details if you want to be called a 5star hotel

Have been several times before and its location is good.

The room was clean but lacked bedside lamps or tea/coffee making facilities. The room was very spacious but had 27 blown light bulbs. The door to the bathroom scraped on the floor so was noisy. The heating system was very, very noisy and woke us every time it came on in the night.

Room was very big and clean. Staff were helpful. Good location - lots of nice cafes, bars and restaurants in Kifissia.

No kettle, tea, coffee in the room. Also no ironing board but available on request. A little conditioner to go alongside the shampoo would be useful. Wall mounted hairdryer is old-fashioned, slow at drying and not good for woman's styling. Suggest new hairdryers are bought for each room instead.

Breakfast was fine. A lot of things to choose from.

I believe that service at breakfast could improve a lot. Nobody cared to clean the tables to have them ready for next sitting. Even when you are asking for something, staff seemed to be annoyed.

Room was very old fashioned , bathroom the same not good AC or Heat was not working properly , staff not all of them nice and accommodating.

No iron in the room, i had to ask for it every morning. One morning there was no water in hotel and area around - created significant inconvenience. Room didint have 30% of light lamps working.

we really loved this hotel. the rooms were huge. there were two bathrooms! the tub was also very big and spacious, furnishings lux and modern. we loved the location near the center of town.

Location is very good

This hotel as well as the mother establishment THEOXENIA PALACE are extremely outdated. Rooms have original furniture (probably dating back to the eighties), TV system is outdated, furniture is worn out, spring mattress is very basic and hard, basic amenities like water heater are not available in the House, etc.This group needs to urgently update and renovate to offer guests some real comfort. Breakfast is a disaster and one of the worst I have ever had. Boiled carrots ?

I liked the size of the room. Very polite staff. Good location. Really neat and clean. Not noisy. Leafy environment.

Though no amenities in the building but all amenities are situated in their main hotel called theoxenia palace hotel. Not a big deal as it's just a short walk.

Breakfast buffet was fantastic, great choice of healthy and more indulgent options! The hotel itself was clean, staff were friendly, rooms were brilliant and spacious!

Although the Kifissia neighbourhood is lovely, I felt like it was a bit too far from the centre of town and accessibility was not the best.

Great location for restaurants and shopping in a suburban setting. The multi-bedroom unit was perfect for the family. It was very comfortable and afforded us a nice living room with separate bedrooms. The service was attentive. We look forward to staying at the Thexoneia House again.

Good location in Kifissia. Short walk to the main shopping / area in Kifissia.We had a basement suite which was very spacious, perfect for our one night stay.Got to use the facilities for a buffet breakfast and swimming pool however you have to walk about 100m down the road to their other property to use these facilities. Not a terrible inconvenience for the price you pay. Buffet breakfast was good.
