    Cons -

    • No water for the guest when arrive This is a five star hotel and they dont even offer water for the guest when they arriveAnd not tea coffee maker or water boiler to make tea or coffeeHow come ? Now iam at 4 stars hotel and they are giving everyday 2 bottle of water free for guest
    • old , dirty, broken, glorious days have passedNot at all what is sold on the pictures.Service breakfast poor (no label on food, side salad with uncooked or cold omelet was old and black, furniture and walls overused and dirty)First night given another category then booked, couldnt sleep due to noisy AC.New room has a hole after leakage in ceiling, curtain doesnt cover the window at night (full lightning of building facing us),matrass : you feel all the metals inside. We left 2 nights earlier than what we booked.Hotel mgm informed but didnt reach out either 2 days later.
    • The property is very run down and smells awful. The front check-in desk feels like you’re checking into a hospital. The hospitality side of the operation is definitely lacking. My room, although large and a suite, was very dated. The bed springs could be felt all evening and the bathroom shower had broken fixtures hanging from the wall along with a loose sink fixture that felt like it was going to come off of the sink counter if you turned on the water. At the price it is asking, the place needs a serious re-modelling. I would never stay here again.

Ran out of yogurt a lot. Fruits varied in abundance. Some days they were short .

I've stayed there several times before. This was the first time I was placed in the basement. While the room and the back yard were pleasant there were mattresses on the hall for practically all the 15 days I was there.

    location

The only thing I liked was the hotel's location. The hotel is very worn out and needs renovation. The chairs in the breakfast restaurant are just falling apart, with panels coming off the backs. The breakfast is terribly monotonous. The staff doesn't understand what they're doing at all. When I asked if it was possible to make oatmeal, I was told they could provide boiling water and oatmeal grains so that I could mix them myself. Only the personal intervention of the head chef helped resolve the issue. A lot of things are falling apart. When I asked for a stopper to fill the bath, the response was that they couldn't provide one because, if I filled the bath, the water would overflow from the sewer pipes. And this is a five-star hotel! The reception staff's clothing was untidy, and they aggressively stopped couriers with food from entering the hotel, directing them to the restaurant, which, after breakfast, I didn’t want to visit. There was mold on the walls of the indoor pool. I didn’t even want to undress. It used to be a great hotel, but now it’s incredibly outdated. The part of the hotel called the "residence" was especially shocking with its neglect, dirty flooring, and some beds and mattresses in the hallways. The air conditioning and heating systems make a terrible noise, similar to running water in sewage pipes.

The residence is part of the Theoxenia Palace Hotel, but is located in a separate building, which is more quiet, but still provides easy access to all hotel facilities. The rooms at the residence are large and well equipped. The location is excellent as it is within walking distance of the popular shopping and recreation area of Kifisia in the northern part of Athens.

The rooms appear as they have not been renovated for quite some time and there is some noticeable wear and tear. Yet, this did not affect the functionality of any equipment.

The breakfast was very good. The staff at reception were very helpful and very polite. The hotel location and accessibility to restaurants and shops are great. They offered us parking which was an enormous help as it is very difficult to find street parking spots.

The room that we had was spacious and comfortable, our only negative comment would be that it needed some maintenance in the bathroom and generally an upgrade in the complete look and feel. This is a great hotel in one of the most expensive and visited suburbs in Athens so it needs to be top-notch.

    4PanagiotisPosted on: 11-23-2024

Poor soundproofing, ground-floor location, subpar facilities for a 5-star stay.

The hotel’s proximity to clubs and live music venues resulted in loud noise until 1 AM. Unfortunately, the room’s poor soundproofing made it difficult to escape the traffic noise from the street and disturbances from neighboring rooms. As the room was on the ground floor, it was necessary to keep the shades drawn throughout the day, limiting natural light. The facilities provided were underwhelming for a 5-star establishment.

    9NefeliPosted on: 11-11-2024

Absolutely excellent breakfast. Spacious rooms. Nice swimming pool with free towels, though no view and sunbeds a bit crammed.

    Location?

Residence was separate from the main hotel. out of a sliding door, across a bridge into another building which felt less secure. No facilities for making hot drinks in room. Was only told about mini-bar on checking out.Above mentioned door was very stiff and I injured my shoulder trying to open it, and got shouted at by staff for leaving it open.No running in water in my room when I woke up in the morning, although this did get rectified 20 minutes before I left.

Location is not far from the centre of kifisia , walk distance

The residence room are far away from the main entrance and there is no moody to help you with the suitecases and there is not elevator , breakfast is so simple and not fresh
