Boutique-Hotel am Ledererturm

The apartments are right in the town center, and from there it was easy to walk to bakeries, and restaurants or take a stroll through the center. It was also easy driving distance to many surrounding attractions. The grounds of the apartments looked very quaint and charming. Overall, the quality of the apartment was high and it was clean. We appreciated the details such as a fully-stocked kitchen and the nice toiletries in the bathroom. We felt comfortable in the apartment, despite it being quite small.

As a family with young children, we were given a top floor apartment up two flights of extremely steep stairs - it would have been more thoughtful of the hosts to provide an apartment on a lower floor. It was VERY hot - one fan was provided only, it would have been better with two fans (one for each sleeping area). The apartment also differed from the photos provided - we expected a rather modern looking bathroom, but the one we had was fine, but standard. We also went to look for the "breakfast fridge" that was advertised, but it was behind a closed door and no one was around to ask for help and when we finally found it, there were no jams or meats for breakfast available.

We arrived late during our journey to Germany and chose this hotel for a brief stopover. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable environment for our stay. Overall, it served our needs.

The check-in had limited hours, which created some confusion about our room location. We were assigned a room directly behind the reception area, compromising our privacy compared to a typical hotel room. The staff seemed a bit unfriendly, which added to our less-than-ideal experience

This was a beautiful location, as expected. Our private balcony was fantastic.

This is not a hotel with 24/7 open lobby. It's family run and checkin times are somewhat limited. Access is not easy using public transportation, but we caught a bus from the train station to the Am Ledererturm without any problem.The room description implies that a washing machine is available in the room. This is inaccurate; the washing machine is in a garage within the hotel complex, but the staff make it available.

lovely, well equipped apartment with living room and laundry/bathroom separate to bedrooms. Good location. Able to safely store our touring bikes.

Great location, the apartment was comfortable. Kelheim is a cute picturesque village, very touristy but that is OK for us. There are some nice restaurants, such as the Indian place or buk cafe - amazing breakfast!

Our apartment had a view of a road and was a bit cold. Our kid should stay on the sofa, but there are no dark curtains in the living room, so he could not sleep there - was getting awake by car lights flashing through the room every time a car passed by, the whole night. So no one slept really well unfortunately.

The apartment was right in the old town, and easy walk to great hiking and biking locations, and the river. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. It was nice to have a washing machine in the unit. The WIFI was adequate.

The lighting in the apartment was not very good, and the ventilation was not good either. The couches in the living room were not very comfortable. Okay for a short stay.

Spacious apartment in nice location - close to river and close to medieval town centre. Amazing breakfast, which is served in a Cafe close by. Staff was very friendly and late arrival no problem.

Apartment was rather cold when we arrived on a winter day. Due to an allergy I had asked for down feather pillows and bed ware to be removed. Deco pillows on the bed still contained down feathers. Blankets were replaced with rather cool summer blankets, which proved so cold, that we had to use the down feather blankets anyway. I survived with antihistamine tablets.

Comfortable bed with large fan for hotter nights.
