Pros +
- The location is very convenient, right across from the train station.
- Loved the location, across from the train station. Made it convenient to take day trips to explore the area (recommend Dinant!). Also conveniently located close to the old square of Namur. Room was comfortable and staff were friendly.
- The location is fabulous but the appointments are a bit old and dated.
Cons -
- The hotel feels outdated and worn. You can hear neighbors easily, and the cleaning staff chat loudly without pause until the room is ready.
- Breakfast should be included given the rate. Instead it is overpriced for what is provided.

The location n the very kind n helpful staff
The old look outside
Very close to the train station, located in an old and nice building. Kind staff,. Good value for money.
The bed isn't that comfortable. Also the toilet is separated from the bathroom, so quite annoying to have to cross the room the other way to wash your hands in the middle of the night.
- Ideally located nearby the train station- Room was matching what we booked
- Guy at the reception was very rude (we arrived late in the night but nonetheless we were not aware that the door downstairs was automatically open and he almost screamed at us). Definitely the worst check-in we've ever had
Situated just in front of the train station, friendly receptionists
Soundproofing is almost 0- cleaning ladies were talking loudly since 7.30. Beds are extremely narrow and pillows absolutely flat
Location in the Train station square. 10 minutes to the center. The room was remodeled and very good space. Breakfast in the coffee shop, very good. We had 3 windows and a balcony viewing the square.Bus station in front of us, if you want to visit near cities
Was in the first floor, no elevator, but they help us with the luggage
I'd stayed here before - albeit several years ago - so I knew what to expect. It's a really nice hotel in a great location right opposite the rail and bus stations. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel still retains some of the elegance of former years.
The WiFi isn't very good -it kept dropping out and requiring me to log back in.
Right opposite the station Good breakfast Kettle and fridge in roomModern feel to room
No hotel lounge or anywhere to sit other than in the room
We enjoyed our stay. However, we had to change rooms because the lighting came on in the middle of the night. Overall it was fine.
Emergency light came on for no reason. Had to move rooms.
The receptionist was very nice and helpful. Although the hotel is located next to the station and a busy street, you do not hear any outside noise inside the room. Beds were comfortable. Rooms are a bit more modern than the outside / hallways of the hotel. Namur is a lovely city. We highly recommend: Lloyd (for brunch/coffee, take the Belgian pancakes!), La Cantina (tapas dinner, especially the mushroom gratin and paella) and Botanical by Alfonse (cocktailbar, exclusive cocktails and lovely owners). Parking garage was just around the corner and we paid €5,00 for a full weekendday. Super cheap!
The price could have been less for a more outdated looking hotel.
The room was quite nice, and the bathroom had a bathtub which is always a big plus. The bed was comfortable, the room's temperature was excellently regulated, and the staff were helpful on all points. The hotel is across the street from the train station, which is particularly helpful when flying in to Brussels and then taking the train. It cannot really get more central, all things considered, which was helpful when going for dinner when I arrived - there was an excellent variety nearby.Breakfast was fine. The ability to cook ones own eggs was nice, although I was not able to make use of it myself. The machine coffee was good, considering it is machine coffee.
The swing side of the location being so central means that there is a lot of noise from the street, especially Friday evening, and the hotel has not taken sufficient measures to safeguard against this.Breakfast featured a number of spreads, all packed in single use plastic containers(the small ones that are admittedly still common everywhere). The room was not perfectly clean. While it wasn't dirty, there were some plastic clips on the floor.
A traditional style old hotel with some lovely features.Very easy check in and friendly, helpful staff, there is a lift which helps and reception is on the first floor. We arrived a little early but they had a locked room so we could leave our luggage whilst we went out until check in time.Rooms are lovely and clean, warm and with comfortable beds and toiletries included in the en-suite, kettle etc in room but being a Brit not enough Tea but they gladly gave more on request!Great location immediately opposite the railway station & bus terminal but it was really quiet in our room despite outside being a hub of activity, great for people watching! There are bars, restaurants and shops within easy, flat walking distance.A lovely city.We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
This is probably the nearest building to the front entrance of Namur railway station. It has always been reliably confusing by having its reception on an upper floor. It is unbendingly as it always has been. It does not move with the times. I love it for that.
See "what did you like", except for the first sentence. Its breakfast could get a little more interesting.
Good location which is located opposite to the tain station. There are supermarkets a few meters away from the hotel and in the train station.
You have to input user name and password to login the free wifi for a certain period of time. Besides, the toilet and the bathroom are separated in my room, it is a bit inconvenient.
cleanliness
for now nothing much to complain..except of the fact my room was near where there packing dirty bed spread and noise was the cleaners going up and down disturb me a little ?
Perfect LOCATION across from train station & NEAR where we needed to be.Good/convenient PARKING DEAL with nearby accessible & safe parking.Breakfast varied & DECENT.
Annoyingly NOISY from nearby music at late hours (disturbing sleep)
Very kind staff, immediately reacting to address questions, noisy rooms nearby.
Nothing that the hotel could influence, or change. All good.
Hotel was directly across from the train station and very close to centre of town.
hotel its self is dated and need TLC, road construction made it bit difficult to get too.
