On the banks of the Charleroi-Brussels canal in an old factory,designer hotel Meininger offers free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour front desk. The Grand Place is one mile away. Each modern room is decorated with light gray colored walls and a parquet floor. A flat-screen TV and private bathroom with shower are featured as well in the room. The restaurant and bar are decorated in the style of the factory with large white pillars, the original concrete ceiling and metal factory lamps above the tables. A 24-hour front desk provides guests service whenever needed. Bicycle rental is available at Meininger Hotel as well as a game room. The Stock Exchange is one mile from the hotel. Metro station Graaf van Vlaanderen is a 6 minute walk. Brussels Central Station is one mile away. Brussels highway R0 is 8 minutes by car.

- The hotel was very reasonably priced for the room that we received.It was very cleanand it was so quiet. The staff was absolutely wonderful and knowledgable. They spoke in several languages and pointed us in the right direction of what we wanted to see.
Cons -
- I only wish breakfast was included instead of another charge.
