    • Very friendly, good location, perfect food.Rooms are nice.

    Cons -

    • Rooms are a bit outdated, but for a short stay its good.
    • Bed had a isolation, memory foam matras. If you like hot in bed you will like it. For me it was far too hot.
    • The carpet up the stairs was well past it's sell by date and the rooms could do with a makeover. But not enough to upset us too much .

Parking was very close by and free. We were greeted with a smile and willingness to understand my bad French. We had a.lovely well priced evening meal and plenty of breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The carpet up the stairs was well past it's sell by date and the rooms could do with a makeover. But not enough to upset us too much .

Clean no fuss room. Breakfast (€10) was standout and excellent quality. Staff were engaging, spoke good English and made the stay.

The hotel was lovely! Central. Clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. Had evening meal and breakfast which were really good and plentiful.

From 1 am until 6 am the public car park across the road turned into  Circuit de la Sarthe . Joy riders paradise. Shouting. Wheel spinning. No police. A nightmare

Put us in easy reach of Dunkirk ferry. Great value. Dinner and breakfast were excellent

No kettle in the room.. shower holder was broken.

    9CaroPosted on: 8-31-2024

Friendly staff and good value for money. Easy free parking close by. Delicious evening meal and breakfast offer very reasonable.

Problem was I never got to stay. I had contacted the hotel to ask them to postpone by a day and.received a "no problem, sir" reply. I arrived at 8.00pm only to be told that they were full and had messaged and phoned me about it. I can't find any messages or missed call and the proprietor is unwilling to try to find what happened.

A lady spoke to me in reception on behalf of the proprietor and told me where.I should.be able to.find a hotel.

Food was really good. Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating with dietary requirements. Beds simple yet comfortable.

    6LucindaPosted on: 7-16-2024

    Breakfast was continental and delicious

No off street parking there was a circus in the square outside which they knew about and although I messaged re parking confirmation did not reply and no mention of the circus. No in room tea or coffee and restaurant closed. Only gave tea at 4 when booking.com mentioned. Only one chair in room. No English channels. Only hand held shower. Gave other guests our room number so at 9.30 pm they tried to get into our room.

Delicious breakfast with great pastries. Friendly staff and nice location. Great option for traveling with pets or by car (convenient parking).

The place is too far away from the city center.

People are very kind, you have the option to dine and have breakfast for a special price, the room is basic, but clean and silent.

    Toilet is small.

    9LiamPosted on: 9-12-2023

Location of hotel, quality of food and friendliness of staff

Extremely warm during our stay and no air conditioning made our room very hot

    10JosephinePosted on: 8-30-2023

Rooms comfortable & clean.Excellent location for our trip, visiting World War 1 memorials. Restaurant highly recommended. We had a delicious evening meal with excellent service. Breakfast also very good.

    8PeterPosted on: 8-22-2023

The food at this place is great. Great breakfast, very good diner and they offer you a combined price for it! Recommend you make use of this. Stad is also very friendly. Very good value for money.

There is no fire escape route. Also outside can be noisy and you have to leave the window open. Toilet door could not lock or close.

    8HelenPosted on: 8-19-2023

Conveniently situated and relatively easy to park in the surrounding streets. Comfortable bed and nice bedding and towels. Excellent restaurant. Really friendly staff. Very welcoming to us and our dog.

No lift provided. The visiting fairground in the square opposite was noisy until 22h30 and took up some of the available parking.

    9PeterPosted on: 7-16-2023

Room very comfortable, clean & all you need.Pet friendly plus excellent evening meal & breakfast. Friendly staff.

Due to local festivities parking was not easy as there is no private secure attached to hotel.

    8LynnePosted on: 7-3-2023

The rooms are extremely basic and sparsely furnished but nice and clean.
