Vienna House Easy by Wyndham Castrop-Rauxel

The hotel was very easy to reach, with plenty of free parking available on the property itself. The interior was beautifully designed with a calm, peaceful atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful; when we raised a concern, it was addressed immediately and handled in a professional manner. The room was stylish and comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and well-kept.

When we first entered our room, we unfortunately found the sheets to be dirty with noticeable hair and stains, and there was some trash on the floor. However, once we contacted reception, the staff responded immediately and resolved all of the issues quickly and efficiently, which we greatly appreciated.

I like the view and garden.

You don't have Internet in the room.

The food, the garden, the room, the hospitality of the staff, everything!

Near a park with lots of paths to get some excercise. Has a fitness room with all the machines needed for a workout.

Restaurant has a nice but limited menu

Quiet location. Parking.

There is one extra bed in room taking a lot of the room space. I don't understand why the bed was there. I informed the receptionist.

The hotel is in a quiet and beautiful.

The breakfast is served in another building, which meant we had to go through rain and cold to get there. The room description stated that there was one big bed, but in reality, there were two smaller beds. When I asked for a room with a big bed, the woman at reception told me to push them together—as if I had come there to move furniture and make the bed myself.Additionally, the hallways were very cold, which made the stay less comfortable.

We've stayed at this hotel several times now and it has always been a good experience. It's perfect for us as it's close to a motorway, has free parking, it's located by a lovely park (great if you are bringing a dog!) and staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is modest but fresh and tasty.

Misleading information on Booking regarding bed size. The hotel staff have advised us that there are no double or king size beds in this hotel at all. The beds are comfortable, so it's not a criticism of the hotel.

Location and breakfast was excellent

Sauna was not working because renovations

Pet friendly, with sizeable grounds for dog walking.

Charges €15 for the dog

Spacious outdoor area, nice rooms and modern. Nice breakfast.

Low maintanance outdoor in the rose garden. Have a great potensial. Beds too hard in my opinion. Probably the hardest bed I have ever slept in at a hotel.

Nice hotel in quiet and peaceful location. Plenty of free outdoors parking space adjacent to hotel, no problems with parking whatsoever, there was always free place for car. Highly recommended place to stay if travelling with car. Breakfast was very good and on weekend it was until 11 am which was nice. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Stayed 4 nights to meet friends living in nearby areas and this hotel was very good place to stay for that. Also good value for money, yet hotel did not feel cheap at all but quite good quality hotel.

No fridge in room. No aircon in room, but there was fan in room. Hotel has sauna but it was closed because renovations during our stay.

This is another of my stays at this hotel. Everything excellent, as expected. Perfect cleanliness in room and bathroom, comfortable beds, peace and quiet all around, very good breakfast, delicious coffee.

Location. Modern and stylish decor in living and public areas. Breakfast.

No elevator. Long walk from car to hotel and then to room. No ventilation in bathroom and it is dated.

Very welcoming and comfortable interior, friendly staff, Family Like atmosphere, big parking with no charge

Very clean rooms, lovely location next to a park, great for walks with the dog.

Reception staff could be nicer and more welcoming.

It's not right to fleece tourists coming to enjoy the Euro 2024 championships

They completely took advantage of us with price. Even the service staff at reception said so. To charge us Euros 600+ per night for a standard room is daylight robbery - they did this just to all of us who came to Germany to enjoy the football. Even hotels in Stuttgart, Munich and Berlin were we stayed did not do this. It is criminal. I understand if they charge a premium but to charge 6x the price is just criminal. We will NOT be staying at Wyndham properties in the future. We stayed in Marriott properties at the other cities (and some were even official Euro 2024 hotels) and they charged us very reasonable rates (Euro 185 etc for City centre Berlin hotel!)

Very clean, close to the city centre, spacious and great food

It was great

I am very dissatisfied with the hotel. We booked a room for 2 people. but they made us a room for one person. at the reception they said that they couldn’t help (supposedly there were no vacancies) in the room there was one pillow, one bed, one towel. we asked for an extra bed, pillow, and towel. They also said that they don't have it. I don’t recommend it ??

That it does have clean rooms, great staff and also an amazing view. Let's not forget that its just few steps away from the bus station

Location

An Apple pen forgotten in the room had to be returned by the reception staff. They never did.
