Hotel Garni' Serena

The hotel is near the beach and the city center so the location is perfect. The parking place is cca 500 m from the hotel and the breakfast (that was really delicious) is on another hotel (very close), but that wasnt problem for us.

The bathroom was old and the furniture too.

Breakfast was great, staff was lovely, we felt welcome.

I miss a place to dry swimsuits.

The "view" from our window was a concrete wall, basicly we had a blind window, so it was a completely dark room. The wellness faculty is really really small, the pool is the size of a room, and it is non-stop crowdy. The parking place cost additional to the room.

There was a bar right next to our room which was really loud until like 3am.

Excellent location on the beach close to the old town, nice swimming pool.

However, our shower's drain did not work (i.e., the whole bathroom flooded after one shower). The receptionist said it's because the shower is old and only after several attempts she gave us a key to another room to take a shower refusing to change our room. The next day no one came to fix the shower so we showered in the corner of the bathroom very quickly to avoid overflow. The room was cleaned daily except for floors--they were always covered with sand from the beach. Breakfast was decent.

Location is very nice and staff seemed to be helpful in the extend provided by the owner of the hotel, but that is pretty much all.

There was a stink from waste pipes in the room. On the ground floor of the hotel is a club playing very loud music until midnight (and even later) so you cannot sleep even on the third floor in the hotel. Cleaning lady has visited our room only once in 4 days (3x she came around 18:00 for cleaning). Also breakfast was not sufficient at all and from 9:00 on missing 70% and more of the provided food and coffee machine not working all the time (juice mostly not available as well). The location is very nice, however, due to the above I am not going to visit this place ever again.

The breakfast was always good and fresh, the personell were always friendly and helpful and I will be booking with them again! I can highly recommend this hotel to anyone who would like a boutique hotel with flair. The only downside was the parking, but we had a large van so I dont see that as a minus on their part.

The staff wasn't really that friendly, every morning we had to wait for our table for breakfast although we already had given time of breakfast from 9 o'clock to 10 o'clock

The style

One of my flip flops vanished after the cleaning staff cleaned up the room, they wrapped it for sure up in the used linen and no efforts from the hotel to find it or any reimbursement!

Close to the beach. Beautiful views. Breakfast was okay, but only 1 lady working so food was not replenished often enough to be able to eat items we wanted. Staff was helpful and nice. Room was small but very clean. Can rent beach chairs and umbrella. Parking available but very tight spaces behind hotel, or you can park about 1 km away and ride trolley back to hotel.

Our air conditioning on the 4th floor quit working the first day. The staff moved us to a smaller room when we requested a move. They fixed air conditioning next morning and we moved back; however it quit working again that afternoon so the room atmosphere was rather warm and uncomfortable. The restaurant downstairs was not that good. Ordered lobster with fresh pasta, and the pasta was all stuck together and not very appetizing. But waitstaff was pleasant.

Waiting with a baby until 2pm at the reception, although I send them an email before, no luggage trolleys, Parking chaos, breakfast chaos etc.

Freshly renewed, modern hotel. The room was small, but well designed, with plenty of shelves and small spaces for the luggage and other travellers stuff.

The hotel room is really clean. And cleaning service in general works in the hotel very well.Good breakfast.

We booked the room with "courtyard view". Unfortunately, we didn't know that this view means actually no view. There was a wall just in front of the window, so there is no sunlight in the room. So it felt more like staying inside of four walls. Place in the beach: The hotel has private beach. But be prepare to pay for it.

Near Sea clean rooms friendly staff

A very Loud Noise when a room near you flushes the toilet or opens the water in the sink, in the Morning when every room neighbor wakes up you also wake up cause they go on the toilet and wash their hands and provides a very loud noise.Very small room and bathroom.Missinformation on booking.com breakfast only till 10:30 not 11:00am. Beach not included in the price 10 each day. All in all to expensive for the comfort they provide. When we arrived the paking spot wasnt ready so we needed to search a parking spot who either costs or was far away from the hotel. Breakfast wasnt very good neither was it really bad i would rate it 5 out of 10.
