Hotel 't Vertrek

I enjoyed the stay there. The two best aspects of it were the friendly staff and the tremendous location right across from the train station. Do not judge a book by its cover. It doesn't make a great first impression. But it's comfortable and convenient

I fear for an older person staying there as the stairs are steep and dangerous, the carpets look old and toward end of life. If you're expectation is a luxury hotel it is not that. It's just a comfortable place with a great staff

Staff where really lovely and friendly, I called the hotel before booking to confirm about the breakfast, if it was included, and they told us that yes it's is . Not knowing that was paid separately.Maybe was miss communication!Otherwise hotel was very clean, friendly staff and really helpful.

More clear about the breakfast, and maybe put a kettle in the room?! Toothpaste and tooth brush .

The room were refurbished not long ago. It is very clean and spacious. The environment is quiet in the evening. It is perfectly situated, very close to the train station,only a few minutes walk to the town center and to the industrial estate (for work travelers).The hotel has a nice "comfy" feels. The locals are dropping in for drinks and for the restaurant (extremely good food, simple , no fuss) which create a warm atmosphere. Local restaurants are a few minutes walk away.The staff are very helpful and friendly. It is truly appreciated after a long day at work to come back to such a friendly place to relax.

They charged me twice, one time from booking and one time from my credit card and so far after four days nobody answer me. Even they told me will send my invoice by mail but didn’t send

Very close to the Boxmeer train station. Hotel is attached to a restaurant (with great food). Staff was kind and helpful. Room was big, clean, and comfortable, and included a small fridge.

It was a bit confusing to have to go to a nearby hotel for breakfast on weekends. No staff in these early hours either, which added to the confusion.

Closed due to private party - we were not told in advance. Loud euro pop till 2am. No food or drink. Still charged full price for a few hours sleep only.

The room was really comfortable

There was nobody about in the hotel and everything was locked up when I came to leave. So I just had to depart. There was a person cleaning the rooms and I asked her. She was really pleasant and said that I was OK to leave and that was all she knew. I had stayed until it was time to clean my room to see if anyone arrived

Friendly staff. Good simple dinner. Nice atmosphere.

Beds were slightly narrow and soft. A little in need of renovation.
