Pros +
- Location and helpful staff
- Great location (walkable to ski, 5 min walk to center), nice 1BR with 2 modern bathrooms, friendly staff … we’ll go back again with pleasure and try the pool/spa next time
- the view and the location and the parking
Cons -
- We would have enjoyed a social space to meet other guests, such as a small bar (but we know the hotel tried this in the past and it didn't work all the year round). Chamonix has the potential to be an environmental leading light, with its concern about air quality and excellent Mer de Glace experience. Could the hotel promote eco-friendly practice? For example, heating a touch lower in the room, and only changing towels/ bedding at day 3 if the customer opts in for this. It was v moving to see the significant glacial recession, and I believe most customers would consider it a positive thing to promote reduced carbon-stays.
- for clean service they will charge you extra for every day
- The furniture is very old, and the bed is not comfortable. The cleanliness at check-in was not good, especially with some trash left under the bed and in the drawers. The hotel location is a bit far from the city center; you need to walk at least 10 minutes, possibly more.

Location was perfect

I liked the view and the staff’s attitude and cooperation. They were very helpful and friendly.

Loved the location. It was clean. Staff were amazing. Facilities and front desk were very helpful and assisted us with all our inquiries.
No porter service to help with luggage. Heater in room 602 A was not working properly however the team assisted with extra heaters immediately. The beds were not comfortable in all rooms and apartments the pillows were not comfortable at all. For the hotel with such amazing location, rooms and view beds need to be more like hotel beds. After long day of activities and skiing we should come back to a comfortable bed and pillow
It was within walking distance of the city center. The view from the balcony was amazing. The rooms were comfortable, and the staff were great. The swimming pool was very nice. Everything was great. If we visit Chamonix again, we hope to stay at this hotel again.
Great location, nice big room, comfortable bed.
Free WiFi is a little spotty; typically Airbnb-type apartments include enough coffee for the first morning, there was none. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Not sure why we were on the 1st floor when the building was mostly empty (intersaison) but we didn't ask for a change, so can't complain. Famous breakfast Buffett not available during intersaison.
The view from the balcony was amazing and perfect for us to relax after hiking the TMB! I loved how it was just a bit out of town but still really close to walk to all the shops and restaurants. Wonderful staff as well!
Super good location with a great view of the Mont Blanc. Right where the parapente glider land.Quiet location but real close to the main drag.
To be honest everything exceeded our expectations, we spent the week in Chamonix for the TDS utmb event. The accommodation gave us a perfect solution for all our needs before, during (my wife was my crew) and after. The scenery from the room was breathtaking and every time we looked out from the balcony we had the impression we were in a postcard, the large green behind the hotel is amongst other things a landing zone for paragliders and was a treat to observe. The staff were so nice and helpful giving the hotel a warm and homely feeling. The hotel was walking distance close to everything of interest in town
The shower pressure was very low, they sent someone to fix it but it didn’t help, hopefully next time we visit we’ll get more pressure. The dining quarter is a bit cramped but is ok if you get there off rush time.
Very nice view (mountains view) I think it is the most beautiful view in Chamonix. Excellent location, but difficult for people who have difficulty walking because it is on a hill. Good facilities, clean suite, and a quiet neighborhood. I have stayed in this property more than 5 times because it is very nice.
There is no AC or fan, which makes it difficult to stay in this property if the weather is not cold. The pillows are terrible, and they should provide us with tissues and clean towels on a daily basis. They also need to renew or maintain some of the furniture because it is getting old.
Balcony was beautiful and the staff was incredibly kind. Only a 5-10 minute walk to downtown but was extremely quiet.
Mattress was a touch firm for us soft Americans, but was comfortable enough to fight the jet lag.
Location is very nice, not too far from the center but also very quiet. The apartment was great, enough space and good bathrooms as well as all facilities at the hotel.
It doesn't have a restaurant or at least a bar.
The sauna and pool were nice to have.
Really bad internet. There was a router in our apartment, but it wasn’t for the accessible WiFi. Breakfast was average. Mostly out of food by 9am.
The blond girl with short heir at the reception was very good , even the second one at the shift was good I like the parking very organized
I was about to extend my stay for more days but they told there is no place
The location was very good, a 5 min walk from the center and the view around the hotel is gorgeous. The field infront of the hotel is where the people with parachutes land which was fun to see.The lady at the reception was very nice. The rooms are spacious. It’s good for a group of friends, because they have rooms for more than 2 persons. They had a gaming area which was a cool surprise.
The only reason I gave it a lower rating is because the hotel is outdated overall (rooms, lobby, pool, etc) There was an unpleasant smell here and there in the hotel.Sauna wasn’t working properly (the heat keeps getting out of the sauna) The hotel needs some maintenance and more cleaning staff in my opinion.
The location and the views.
No fan or AC so it is quite hot inside in summer and it is unbearable. The bed is very uncomfortable. Bathroom has no place to hang towels. Floor was dirty.
Good location a short walk from the center of town. View of Mont Blanc from patio. Fun to see the paragliders land in the park.
Access to parking garage extremely narrow.
