Hotel Le Morgane

Nice clean room!

They do not allow you to adjust the room temperature from your room! Room was too hot!

The staff was very nice. 

We were given a ADA room so the bathroom was not very practical for us. The shower got everything wet and basically flooded the whole bathroom. I would stay again if we were not given a room with a handicapped bathroom.

Wonderful experience at Hotel Le Morgane. The staff was very friendly and it is a great location. Location is in the middle of town and close to the Aguile du Midi cable car.

The restaurant and bar are amazing. The cocktails and food are delicious.

Food, service and staff were outstanding. The room itself was without heat and proper necessities such as coat and towel hangers.

The room could have had heat, for example. The bed could have had more blankets

Great location, fun to look out at the river and mountains from our room. The staff was very helpful.

The pool is not in good condition. Tiles missing in many areas.

The location was great and the staff (especially the females we worked with) extremely friendly and helpful.There was one male employe working the desk who was less so.

Fabulous location in Chamonix, right in the heart of everything. We had a balcony, shared with other rooms. If you have a car, you can arrange to book parking with the hotel for a daily fee.

Our room, at the end of the hall, had poor wifi reception. They don't have air conditioning, so if you're going when it is hot, be aware.

Le Morganne is near the river so scenic but quiet. A short walk to central town area. We love this hotel and have stayed here repeatedly when in Chamonix. The rooms are spacious enough(despite being European) and spotless. The staff is always helpful and friendly.

They could tone down the strong aromatic scent that hits you in the lobby. It’s incense like so not unpleasant, just too strong

Breakfast was nice but simple. Very close to the train station and grocery stores.

Having a small fridge and an electric water pot would have been great. Inexperienced staff created unnecessary chores for my friend.

Bed was squeaky, the whole bathroom floor was wet after a shower and the spa was just ok.

Wifi was terrible for all four days we were there. Hard to tell if problems were in the hotel or in a wider network.The room and bathroom are very lacking in hooks for towels etc.The wait staff in the breakfast buffet were pleasant and hardworking, but they should have a self-service coffee machine as is very common these days in similar hotels with breakfast buffets as the workers were slow to offer us more coffee and what they brought was weak and no longer very hot. At 26 CHF for each person's breakfast with an array of choices that is nice but not fabulous, we ought to at least get decent coffee.

Room had many windows but very few lights, so was quite dark at night.

dark room, no privacy - room face other people’s deck, people can see you when it is dark and if the lights are up in your room. you have to close the door and the curtains. But then the room will be hot and no fresh air. The room doesn’t have air conditioning and no windows. not a pleasant stay. plus check in person doesn’t give you any local tourist information
