Cons -
- The drain of the bathtub wasn¿t working properly. I had to drain it with my hands.
- We had issues with one lift being broken for most of our stay, and it did break down late one night again while I was in it. Stuck in it for an hour and had to be be rescued by local fire crew. Needs to be better.
- The room was not ready at checkin time, and the staff offered no solutions, alternatives, or ways to improve the situation.

location and the view
They didn’t have a doorman or any staff to help me with my luggage, i had to carry them alone from the taxi car to the reception . Then upon check out , i also had to carry them all down to the reception, i used the elevator 3 times going up and down, and had to be late for the check out time.. I’m not recommending this hotel to anyone for this only reason .
Location and breakfast
A complete disaster from start to finish. The spa area is an absolute joke. The sauna barely reaches 40°C, which is not a sauna by any standard. The hammam is unusable: it alternates between 2 minutes of lukewarm air followed by 15 minutes of cold, making it pointless. The pool room is freezing if you are in a swimsuit - you literally have to wear a bathrobe just to tolerate being there. The jacuzzi is cold. The pool is cold. Nothing works as advertised and yes, it was freezing everywhere in the spa zone and corridors, which is not by any standard a winter cozy magic. To use the sauna, you are forced to go outside, where everything is frozen and extremely slippery, creating a serious safety hazard. Inside the spa, nothing is cleaned: sweat everywhere, dirty surfaces, and a general lack of hygiene. It is honestly disgusting.Service is just as bad. We requested a duvet and never received it. No follow-up, no explanation. I had to go downstairs myself and request it again. Room cleaning was also meh. Instead of cleaning properly, staff threw our clothes (pajamas on 2 occasions) on the floor, which is completely disrespectful and unprofessional. One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had considering the location, that it's four stars and the very high price that was paid. Avoid at all costs.
Really nice staff and friendly. The room was of a good size and had a gorgeous view. The spa was better than expected and the best thing of my whole stay: the breakfast. Possibly one of my best hotel breakfasts I've ever had.
The hotel location and room views were great, tidiness and ambiance were impeccable, the breakfast was great - quality of local food served was highly appreciated. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable for facilities in and out of hotel (ski resort). Overall very enjoyable.
A suggestion: maybe the use of chair feet protectors in the restaurant would be the best value for money option to reduce / eliminate the sounds of scraping and screeching made by chairs on floors that are quite uncomfortable at the start / end of the day ;).
loving the layout of the room. I got the mountain view and it was excellent. Location very strategic to the centre of Chamonix.
Nice rooms, friendly staff, gorgeous views, great location.
Walls seemed thin. We could hear the people next door talking loud and laughing. But when we called reception, the receptionist reached out to the couple next door and they were quiet after that. Spa facilities are very nice, just be sure to make a reservation - they have a capacity of 20 people. Hot tub was lukewarm and we were told that was the standard/mandated temperature.
Amazing comfortable hotel, located downtown. I stayed one night, and it was so lovely spacious room, clean and quiet place. Just 1 minute walk and you will be in downtown streets.I would love to come visit again, definitely will be my favorite place to stay in Chamonix.Very respectful front desk staff.
Great location and very friendly, attentive staff.
Before our trip, the hotel informed us that parking spaces were limited and could not be reserved. However, when we arrived, we found that there were empty parking spots and wanted to park there, but the staff told us that all of those spots had already been reserved. The hotel also stated that the rooms were accessible by elevator, but in reality, after taking the elevator, we still had to climb more than ten steps—with nearly 30 kilograms of luggage—to reach the room.
friendly staff can’t do enough a great stay
Clean rooms great location everything you could ask for in a hotel stay
Clean, comfortable, welcoming staff, great location
Space of the room, clean, quite, parking very good 15 euro per night
Check in 4:00pm
Location was nice, clean hotel, rooms were a nice size and had all the amenities.
Great location in town. Lose to restaurants and shops. View from our room was magical with Mt Blanc and the Alpes greetings us each morning!
I liked the property a great deal. Our suite was spacious and well appointed and very quiet. My o my issue was the short entrance to a side sitting room with the tv. Both me and my husband hit our heads on the door jam. Very painful. They should place cushions at the top as I’m sure a number of adults have hit their heads!!
Location was ideal-just a short walk to the main shopping street, train, bus and gondola/cogwheel stations. Room was a decent size and bed was very comfortable. The spa facility adds a nice touch and I had an amazing massage there. Staff was very helpful.
Reception area can be very busy at times throughout the day.
Great location, steps from the main streets of chamonix but on a quiet block. Clean, beautiful balcony views, clean hot tub/spa area, nice shower, incredible breakfast
No a/c and we were there during a heat wave, so it was very hot.
The view and location are the only good things about the place.
The assigned room is a makeshift attic of the hotel where there are two adjoining rooms, and you must carry your belongings up a flight of stairs since there is no elevator access.
We noticed a water refill station next to elevators, so that is convenient. The parking is tight so maneuver carefully if you park onsite. convenient location behind the major Chamonix restaurants and stores and 5 minute direct walk to lift to the mountain. We missed time going to the top of mount Blanc due to weather and made the best by visiting the ice tunnel, but did get to drive to Annecy and rent a boat. Highly recommend doing that if you have time because the water is so clean (little cool), but really beautiful and worth it. I was in the U.S. Coast Guard and have seen many bodies of water, but that lake is gorgeous and much cleaner and less crowded than lake Como for example. We also drove to Zermatt which the town was very cool, but the Matterhorn is overrated and super expensive; $850 US dollars for a family of 5!! The staff are very friendly and helpful. breakfast has a orange juice squeezing machine, so nice to actually drink real orange juice.
The family room has two bedrooms and a bunk bed including two showers but only a single toilet. that makes getting ready a long line if everybody needs to go at once. good breakfast except flies, so need to do a better job keeping them away from food areas. The carpet smelled a little so need steam cleaning.
