    • Tucked away in a beautiful, peaceful location, yet easily accessible from the city centre by bus or on foot. Everything was perfect: the stunning interior, spotless rooms, and incredibly friendly staff. The highlight was the amazing breakfast, which exceeded expectations.

    • A little bit far from the center of the city
    • Nothing really. Some people might say the rooms need some renovation, but I thought it was perfectly fine.

The rooms were next to large garbage bins, and there was noise early in the morning due to the garbage being dragged, which made the place uncomfortable. As for breakfast, there was no variety in the food at all; we were forced to eat eggs every day.

Very comfortable hotel, close to the center of the city, we definitively will come back.

The stairs are a bit narrow, somewhat difficult when you're with adults as in my case, besides this, all the rest is ok.

    3FooksonPosted on: 12-28-2025

    Towel was provided.

The dorm has some sort of mold or rotting issue that caused a terrible smell that remained throughout my stay and apparently the people who came before me as well. The room is minuscule even for hostel standards. No real room to put luggage, no lockers. Considering most people are there with winter clothes and ski gear, it’s ironic that this hostel has the least amount of space I’ve experienced in a hostel. And of course the heat was cranked up fully with no ventilation in the unit or a way to control the temperature.

Just close enough to Chamonix without all the noise. Very clean and quite spacious room.

    9AnnePosted on: 9-28-2025

It was quiet and the breakfast great. The room was clean and comfortable

A little out of town but we had a car so not a problem

    10KimberleePosted on: 9-28-2025

Very pretty comfortable and quiet. Close to train station

    10AngiePosted on: 9-25-2025

The fact that it was out of the way and a little walk to town was delightful. The people at the reception were so kind and helpful!

A fan in the rooms on warm nights would be delightful.

Great location, close to town but still quiet and secluded, big room, very clean, super helpful staff.

    7KendraPosted on: 9-16-2025

Chloe was helpful in resolving a reservation error that the front desk staff made. Lucas was very professional in trying to resolve the issue as well. He showed great empathy and understanding. Breakfast was really good!

The dorm/bunks are tiny. The shower area is very small (and I am only 58 kg and 165 cm). The toilet area is also very small. Because of eight bodies being in such a small space, it got so hot on the top bunk that it was impossible to sleep. There is no ventilation and the space is too small to bring in a fan. Without a bottom bunk guarantee, I would not stay here in the future. The cleaning staff was very nice and they are good, but it is impossible to keep clean a shower so tiny that is serving 8 people, especially with the build up of containers of small soaps and shampoos that the hotel gives everyone upon check in. I recommend not giving those to people. They just make the shower so messy.

Very cozy hotel and well located. Close the bus stop and many trails around. The staff are so nice and friendly to share their good mood every day.

The only thing is that we missed cleaning for first two days. Maybe there were too many clients.

Breakfast was good. Location was great.

Bath tub. Really like walk in showers.

It’s a good hostel with reasonable price. Free towels, soap and shampoo. Plug by the bed.

Very tight bathroom and super expensive breakfast. Bus to the centre.

    6LaurenPosted on: 9-2-2025

Check-in was easy, it's nice that they provide a towel and soaps and every bed has a power outlet and light. The common area is cute and nice to hang out in. Also appreciated the free wifi though it was a bit spotty.

Bathroom in the dorm was pretty dirty and the room is very cramped. Could be a little nicer for the price but compared to the rest of Chamonix, it is pretty cheap.

    10cathyPosted on: 8-30-2025

Amazing view with the nicest staff! Just a short walk to the bus stop and train station with access to all of Chamonix! Breakfast was fresh and filled with so many options, could not have asked for better place to stay!

    7HannahPosted on: 8-2-2025

Very clean and lovely stay. Really feels like you’re in the mountains.

Many reviews talked about how easy it was to access town without a car. I’m quite good at navigating public transit but found the chamonix bus system quite challenging & is a 30 minute walk if you miss it. Found very challenging without a car & traveling in my bus

    9RitaPosted on: 7-23-2025

The place is very nice. The breakfast was outstanding. The receptionist (Sol) was exceptionally nice and helpful.

Our room was facing the road and it was very loud at night from car traffic and too hot to sleep with closed window. I would ask for a room facing the other side next time.
